It had been a few months since Cerene and Sharrie had come to live with their new parents. They had been adopted during the summer. Time had flown by quickly and they had learned a thing or two from their parents. It was now almost time for school. Their parents had registered them to go to one of the best private schools available, but they didn't want that. They wanted public school because they wanted to wear different outfits. This would be the girls first time going to a school with other children that didn't live with them. The weekend before school was the busiest. Their parents decided that it would be good to start the first day off with a new room! So by the time they got back from paint shopping on Friday, the maids and butlers had everything moved and covered in their rooms. The girls had picked out paint and were ready to explore. First they started with Sharrie's room. The plan was to make it a blue and pink color. The girls had a slight paint fight, but got back to business quickly. Sharrie's room turned out great! It was blue at the top like it was the sky and then went into a gradiant of pink. Next, was Cerene's room. She wanted a lilac color at the top leading into a light green gradiant, yet another paint fight happened but this time it was at the end. Their rooms were finally painted and they looked beautiful so far. They still needed to go decor shopping, but that would have to wait until the paint was dry. They slept in their parents room until everything was dry.
On Saturday, the girls went decor, furniture shopping. The maids and butlers followed to make sure that everything was bagged and taken home immediately especally since they picked out a ton of stuff. Sunday was the most important! The girls needed their hair washed and done, they got their nails and feet done, they went school clothes shopping with their parents, supply shopping, shoe shopping. They were ready for the most part and the maid and butlers were once again there to bag everything up. They got home to find that their rooms were done for them. Every detail that they said they wanted , was done. Cerene got her garden at the bottom of her walls, and Sharrie got her clouds and sky design. The girls clothes were hung up, they each had a canopy, everything was covered in lights, bean bag chairs, toys, and a bunch of other designs. They couldn't believe how their rooms looked. Everything was done. They organized their own supplies based on their lists. Hopefully, they were in the same class. They helped with dinner, wrapped their hair like their parents showed them, showered and got in the bed. Tonight since they were so nervous, they decided to sleep in Sharrie's room.
"Rene..."
"Yeah, Sharr?"
"How are you feeling?"
"Nervous."
"You too?"
"I know it's supposed to be exciting, but it's weird doing all of this for the first time."
"There's probably going to be a lot of people too."
"Hey, don't worry Sharr! No matter how many people there are, we have each other! We got this!"
Sharrie lighly giggled "Yeah, I guess you're right. Thanks Rene."
The girls focused in on the decorations, and drifted off to sleep. Tomorrow was a big day.
