Point of View Change (Domiel)
They all sat down, criss-cross applesauce, and Zadkiel started, "We obviously came to Earth as babies. We were sent on a mission, the only reason for it being apparent fate. We grew up in the same town and our parents were best friends, so we would have playdates every single day."
"As we started to grow up," I said, continuing the story, "We kind of stopped hanging out. In sixth grade, I was invited to this party. A boy in the seventh grade asked me out and I obviously said yes. I was very popular, so he was very hot. Not as hot as you, though."
"I went with the most popular boy in the eighth grade."
"Zadkiel was the infamous bisexual, so they offered him up," I whispered, "He kind of volunteered, thinking he'd be more popular."
"I assumed it was because I was the hottest boy in the sixth grade. Anyway, he even wore a suit. Those were way ahead of our time."
I rolled my eyes, "For the last time, babe, he was so unpopular and suits weren't in at the time. You were basically the only one who would go with him. He was a total idiot."
"Don't even."
I quickly nodded and went on, "What happens next is my date kind of ditched me for a prettier girl. I didn't really care, though. I still had a crush on this certain fella from my childhood."
"Wait, you were a girl? Wouldn't that make you mom?" Leah asked.
"I was a girl, but Zadkiel called dibs. Zadkiel is mother," I replied, smiling, "Anyway, I figured out that Steven was up to something. So, I tried flirting with him..."

Zadkiel, who's name was actually Joseph on Earth, was in the kitchen with his friends. Steven was leaning against the wall, so I walked over and leaned against the wall next to him. I smirked, "Have you ever watched The Flinte Stones? It's my favorite TV show."

"WOAH. HOLD UP. That was your pickup line? What was it, the 1960's?" Leah exclaimed, groaning.

Anyway, he asked, "No, is it good?" I slightly shuddered, he's so weird.
I laughed, "It's only the best TV show ever! Do you live under a rock or something?"
He started laughing, too, "So then I should probably watch that show... duly noted."
"Ok," I replied, nodding, "Good."
Then Zadkiel walked over, "Hey, Kelly."
I turned around, "Oh, hey, Joseph! Long time no see!"
He nodded, "Ya... nice to see you."
"I should probably go... see you around, Steven," I said, waving goodbye. I went straight to Julie, "We're gonna play a new game. Seven minutes in heaven. It's like spin the bottle, except, the two who get paired go into the closet and they can do anything for seven minutes. I'll go first, who has a bottle?"
"Ok, cool. Let's do this. John, Ally, and Erellie, gather everyone, we have a new game to play," Julie responded, nodding. The three of them all nodded in compliance and gathered everyone in the main room. When I spun the bottle, I knew it'd land on Steven. It was practically the fate of the century. But then I felt my heart drop and I groaned as I realized it had landed on Zadkiel. Well, Joseph.
Then they all started shouting, "Go in the closet! Go in the closet!" So we both went into the closet and sat down.
"This was not ideal..." I muttered.
"You think? What are you doing with my boyfriend, Kelly? Were you trying to seduce him?" he asked, glaring at me.
I scooted back, not wanting to be here right then, "I'm sorry. I just... I was trying to help you."
"I don't need your help! I got this under control!"
"Really, though? Because, he's kind of straight, Joseph."
"Ya, I don't need help from someone who's younger than me!"
"We were born on the same day!" I yelled, whispering. I looked straight into his eyes, but then he looked into my eyes, too. I looked away, "Look, I just... I just wanna help."
"Really?" he asked, looking excited.
"Ya," I responded, nodding.
"Then help me... by. Staying. Away."
Then Steven knocked on the door, saying, "It's been seven minutes. Oh, hey, Zadkiel. I'm gonna head out." Then this girl came up to him and held onto his arm.
Zadkiel, balling up his fists, said, "I thought we were together."
"No, all we did was go on a couple of hangouts and came here. We're not together."
"You took my first kiss, you made me lie to my parents, and you say that we're not together?" Zadkiel asked.
"I'm not gay, Joseph." I walked up to him and swiftly punched him in the side of the face. He winced as he clenched his nose. Zadkiel pushed me out of the way and walked over to Steven. He put his hands on Steven's shoulder and kneed him in the crotch, walking away.
I ran after him, "Wait up!"
He turned to me, "We aren't friends, Kelly."
"What about the mission?" I asked, still walking towards Zadkiel.
"I went over the checklist already, nothing's wrong."
"So let's go hang out! Just like the old days!" I exclaimed, smiling.
"How about no?" he asked, glaring at me.
"What?! Why is everything so different?" I asked, holding the door closed.
"Because you left, Kelly. You left and not for one second ever looked back. You never stopped to think about what would happen to me! You just... 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 me!" Zadkiel yelled.
"But I have a flashback!" I exclaimed, "It'll make it all better!"
"What? No flashbacks!"
I grinned, "They'll be your absolute favorite someday."

"You've made a friend already?" my mom asked, smiling really wide. My mom was Coretha, but you know that already. She was the only one who would take care of me.
"Ya, why?" I asked, smiling.
"You should go talk to him," she replied, smiling.
"O-ok... it's them, though." Then I walked over to the boy from earlier, "Since we're the only kids in our section, we should be best friends! Let's go on an adventure and defeat the bad guys!" I punched my fist into the air.
"But we don't have anything in common. Red hair, blue hair. I like normalcy and you like adventures. I know what normalcy means and you don't," he replied, turning back to his work.
I gasped, "First of all, I'm kind of offended that you would think my hair color relates to my personality. Second, I think you'll see things my way when you go on your first adventure!" I stood up and held out my hand to him. He slowly grabbed my hand. After that day, we became best friends.

I smiled, "See? We spent hours and hours going through a forest. And, I never meant for everything to change like that. I just wanted to make more friends. You just didn't ever come with me. I never meant for it to be like this. I... I love you, Joseph... so much." I hugged him, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. I buried my head into his neck.
He laughed, "Why are you so sad? I can't say that I forgive you, but I can say that I could give you a second chance."

"So that was when you started dating?" Leah asked, getting excited. Both of us shook our heads and she laughed, "Wow, playing hard to get, huh, dad? Question, are you married?"
I rolled my eyes, "Just wait a second!"

"Now that we're in this random open field, what are we gonna do?" I asked, spinning around in circles as I held out my arms.
"We should... play video games?" Domiel asked, confused.
I rolled my eyes, "That's the worst adventure ever! Come on, I got a better one." I sat down, laying down on my back. Domiel laid down next to me and we talked about our lives.
"Joseph, you're really cute. How'd you get to be such a player?" Domiel asked, laughing.
I laughed, "I declared myself bisexual. I guess that's just... cool? I don't know... it's kind of unfair of them to say I'm cool because I like boys and girls."
"Oh, I never thought of it that way. I'm sorry."
I shook my head, "It's fine. I'm just happy that I didn't fall to the wayside."
"You're pretty good at this adventure thing. How'd you get to be so awesome?"
"I don't know. I guess I just had a good teacher." We looked at the stars, smiling, "OH, look, it's an orange star!"
"There's a blue star!" Domiel exclaimed, pointing at the one next to it, "It's us!"
"I can't believe I trusted the two of you to take care of such a delicate mission such as this one. I guess it always had to come to this. This was a soulmate mission," The big man explained, walking back and forth behind us.
We both quickly turned to him, "We're getting demoted."
"We can go back and fix it. It's not that far away," Domiel said, freaking out.
He rolled his eyes, "Too late, now. I'll just do it myself. Can I just say something? You two are the youngest and smartest angels I have! That's why I didn't want you two on Earth." Then he put his hand on the back of our and pushed our faces together. "There. you're welcome, fangirls. Romantic enough?"
Domiel, still kissing me, pulled back for a moment, "Thanks, bro." Then he started kissing me again.
After a while, I asked, "We're dating right?"

We both shook our heads before they could ask, and I said, "Not done, yet."
