As we slowly descended deeper into the cave, weak creatures appeared here and there. Simple attacks and they were done, but there was no sign of us catching up to Eliot or Lala.
"Where the hell? Myria, can you tell where they are?"
She seemed to zone out a moment as a soft breeze blew from behind. As it faded, her voice became wary.
"They disappeared?"
How...?
"Syrus, a Dark Lord is in this cave. Of course two idiots focused on sleeping together will vanish just like that."
"We should've gone in with them. Dammit."
"Xero, we need to keep going. They could be fine."
As we sped our way forward, minor creatures kept appearing. None of them even so much as deserved more than a second cut as they died on the first.
"Too easy."
The concern in her voice told me she felt the same. Nothing about this was difficult. None of these were even a challenge.
"Tch. Separate paths... what should we do, Myria?"
"No way in hell am I going alone. You try leaving me, and you'll have my knives up your ass!"
I smiled softly. Definitely wasn't planning that.
We took the left path, following it deeper into a wider room.

"So you both came to my room! Haha! Damn shame, Lala won't get to kill you herself."
In an instant, both of my blades were in my hands. Eliot faced us down, bloodlust travelling through the air.
"Eliot? Wha-"
Xero was cut off by the massive shield Eliot flung towards him. By his feet, I could see even more shields.
PTNNG
"Eliot, I don't care how strong you THINK you are, but don't mess with me."
The last word came as a hiss. Xero's actually angry. His eyes are glowing... Eliot you fucked up.
