"Care to explain?"
Laughing off her own embarrassment, Myria frantically tied up Lala.
"So here's the thing, I'm a Dark Lord?"
"That sounds like a question, and you didn't need to hide it. I'm actua-"
In an instant if rushed forward, shoving my hand into Lala's mouth as she tried to clamp down on her own tongue. Her teeth pierced my skin, but I simply palmed her forehead causing her to release me. A small drop of blood beaded on my hand.
"I'll keep doing this if you even dare mimic that oaf. You don't have to... nevermind."
She was already dead. But how? Peeking up at Myria...
"S-sorry. I think my magic hit her a bit too hard."
She bent her head low, cowering as if she were a naughty child. Patting her head softly, I smiled at her.
"No worries. The sudden impact of my palm may have been the final cause. I'm just glad she didn't drink my blood."
I wiped my hand off, the small cut was no longer producing blood.
"Huh? What's that mean? Was she a vampire or something like that?"
"Ah, no. I'll explain later. We still have to deal with the guy they work for. By the way, I had a bunch when the wind kept 'helping' us out earlier."
She blushed slightly.
"I thought I was being discreet. Are you not gonna call me a hypocrite? I mean, I'm a Dark Lord that hates Dark Lords."
"You don't hate me."
She stared at my back in a highly confused manner as I began to head to the recesses of the cave. Let's just hope the leader isn't powerful.
---
Do what? Of course I don't hate him... ugh whatever. I don't care what he thinks I think of him. He's too sweet to me, so imma be sweet to him.
I pouted as I followed behind him, keeping my wind around to scan the area. Since he knows about it, I didn't keep it under wraps anymore.
A few lashes of wind and a creature would die here and there. He almost even seemed to be impressed by my control. Hehe.
"Your magic is pretty str-"
My eyes went wide as I watched Xero fall to his knees, holding his waist. He coughed up a small glob of blood, but why can't I move? Why can't I... it's getting dark. Who's that behind Xero?
Isn't that...!
