"Never forget who you are!"
Who's voice was that?
I opened my eyes slowly, scanning the cave once more. The Dark Lord never came out this far. I don't know why, but I'm glad he didn't.
Before I had fallen asleep, I made a small grave for Myria, burying her out side of the cave deep under ground.
"I'm sorry."
My voice trembled as I got to my feet. He has to die. I won't give up.
"Syrus, are you alright? This is the first person you've lost that was close to you, and not Xero."
"Don't worry. I'm going to kill him."
I proceeded to speed my way to the back of the cave, my flames wrapping themselves around me.
"Huhuhu. So you came back? That little elf bitch finally die? Oh it was so nice to see her again! Too bad I couldn't have a bite before... ya know."
He wouldn't stop laughing. He wouldn't stop being happy. He wouldn't stop talking about my friend...
"DIE!"
In an instant, my flames funneled towards him.
---
Where? It's cold and damp, but I don't feel any pressure?
Stumbling through the cave, I followed the smell that made me wake up. I followed it until I saw two men staring each other down. One laughing maniacally, the other seething.
I tried to tell him that he won't with through anger, but I couldn't feel my voice. I can't talk? Hmm...
Watching these two men made my heart stir in so many directions. One made my heart truly desire his touch, the other... I want to puke. I want him gone, but why?
I looked down, but I didn't see my body. What am I?
"DIE!"
The angry one began to channel flames towards the laughing one. The flames grew massive until I heard him talk more quietly.
"Overcharge me."
At that moment, I could feel static in the air. Sparks of lightning began to jump out of his body, as well as his massive flames growing even more powerful.
Drifting towards this strange man, I touched his back with what I assumed was my hand.
"Xero?"
He... he's Xero! I could feel tears in my eyes. How could I forget such an amazingly kind person? I forgot so much... he needs to die.
Looking passed Xero, I could feel the disgusting bastard through the air currents.
"You won't survive... just die already."
He was using a large orb of water to calm down the flames that continued to lick at him, but the shocks leapt through the water as they collided. It was minor, but I could feel him getting hurt more and more.
"My turn."
Channeling my winds, I forced them to spiral around behind, cutting through the water barrier. Hmm, I'm much weaker. What happened?
I looked up into his eyes. They were glowing fiercely in the fire light. Dark marks spread from under his eyes towards his throat. He was enchanting...
"Xero..."
I kissed his cheek softly, hoping he could feel me.
"This is for Myria. I'll get rid of this bastard for you!"
As he uttered the last word, deep shadows emerged from the ground. They spiked up into the water bubble, popping it and skewering him.
Just like that? Wait... this magic.
No no no no. I told him I hated Dark Lords! Shut shit... oh no no no. Was that what he meant? He's a Dark Lord too... and he's so sweet and friendly.
Drifting in front of him, I kissed his lips softly. The same way he kissed me. I guess I have to move on... wait, can he see me?
His eyes had gone slightly wide before he simply dropped in my arms. I can touch him? And move him? Umm... oops? Did I mess up?
