I really wasn't expecting to meet another elf! I may have lost myself a little, but at least he's friendly. I just wonder how a noble family ended up in the state he was in...
Being able to break through such a low level, especially after so long, he's really impressive. I can also feel some serious power from him. Maybe I should've told him about my magic? If he knows, then maybe things can progress more easily? I'm fast, but my wind magic is what makes me so lethal, and it's why I'm alive.
Dark Lords are disgusting, but I'd be lying if I said the power wasn't useful.
"Myria?"
I peeked from within my hood, his soft voice filling me with a sense of... something. Doesn't matter.
"Hmm?"
"The other two went to check for the cave entrance. You alright?"
I nodded vigorously, my hood flopping off. Oops.
"I'm alright. Just wanna get this over with, ya know?"
I pulled my hood back up just as Eliot and Lala came back. They're both very sweaty and kinda smell... again? Seriously? Is that all you people do?!
I could hear Xero sigh beside me. He realized as well. Goes to show you that even he doesn't do that dirty deed!
"Eliot, Lala. We are in the middle of a forest, near a dangerous cave. I know you like each other, but seriously?"
He's actually telling them off!
"Haha. Boy, you'll know this pleasure one day. Just hold your horses and lemme do what I wanna. Maybe I'll invite the quiet one next time. Haha."
He sighed again. Don't worry, I'm not interested.
"Dumbass. I know it feels good, just remember, it's dangerous. We need you both to be safe so we don't die."
Eh? EEHH??! He... he's done it before? Was it a fling? A girlfriend? Is he actually married?
"Oh? They boys got himself a girl?"
"Tch. Boys always get excited over these little things. Eliot, you can't sleep with her."
Lala started pouting. She's actually quite cute, but she's an airhead.
"Xero..."
"She speaks?"
Eliot looks a bit too surprised... jeez.
Xero looked over at me, his eyes shining in the sunlight. So red, so pretty... yet so hurt and sad.
"Did you at least find the entrance?"
Eliot gave a thumbs up as he smiled with his massive mouth. What does Lala even see in him? Xero's so much hot... shut it, shut it. He's taken.
"Let's go then?"
---
"Myria is way too lost in her thoughts."
"You're right, but she still seems aware at least."
"I guess so."
We began heading towards the cave entrance. It was barely hidden inside of a tree trunk. Weird...
Peeking inside, I could feel an icy chill. Definitely something strong in there.
"Or someone."
"Xero..."
Whenever others are nearby, that's all she does. Just my name.
"You okay?"
She nodded slowly, her body trembling slightly. She's scared... after all, a Dark Lord is in there aplarently.
"Hey kid! I'm gonna head down first. Lala will follow behind me. You two can come in after her."
"Shouldn't Lala be at the back? It'd be safer."
They didn't even respond. Eliot and Lala just slipped inside the deep, dark hole before even so much as making a plan.
"Myria, let's go. They definitely don't have the fire power we have."
"Alrighty. Think we will get anything cool inside?"
She's talkative again. It's more fitting to see her like this.
"Let's see."
