The cold wind blew against the figure of a man standing on top of the Divine Mountain of Heaven Blaze's Continent.
The Divine Mountain was in a bad state. The destroyed ground and the charred-black soil indicated that the Divine Mountain had seen better days.
It's pitiful state was the result of the battle between the two of Universe's most powerful individuals.
The Beast King, Arknümun and The Supreme Wizard, Kenzeth K. Khaoscrest.
The bad-blood between them has been there for a many years.
The paranoid Beast King had ordered the destruction of the capital city of the Moon Continent fearing what the 'prophecy' had predicted about his death.
The fall of the Royal Capital was recorded in the books of history with red ink. It was the greatest tragedy since the founding of the 9 Divine Continents.
Three Million People, yet all perished during the attack of unexpected Monster Wave. Terrifying Demonic Beasts tore apart everything in sight.
All had perished except one.
The Child Of Prophecy.
The World itself had taken the responsibility of the Child. With the blessings and help of the countless Spirits, Saints and the World, the child transformed into a formidable existence.
One that could rival the Beast King, who had been unrivalled for countless millenniums.
Kenzeth looked up towards the sky. His clear, azure blue eyes burning with flames of defiance, determination and unspeakable power, but one could see deep wisdom in the purplish hue in his eyes, which twinkled every now and then.
His handsome face displayed a small smile that enhanced his masculinity even with the blood dripping from the corner of his lips.
"Oi! Old Man? You done yet?" He asked, his tone rude and overbearing as he purposely tried to rile the man infront of him. "That was your final attack right? How is it so weak?! I mean shouldn't the ability of the Black Dragon be more potent and dangerous? That attack just grazed my skin, you know. Oh! Look its even Almost healed up!"
Kenzeth's eyes twinkled with mischievous intent which intensified as the Beast King grew angrier with each comments.
"Shut your trap boy!" Beast King in his humanoid Black Dragon form raged as he gritted his teeth hatefully. "Hand over the Law of Universe and I promise you, your death will be painless. Otherwi-"
"Nah nah, it's okay. Go ahead and do what you want. I'm not giving the Law I comprehended after so many years of constantly busting my ass from this realm to the other. And even if I give it yo you, it wont be of any use to you..." Kenzeth closed his eyes and shook his head mockingly before looking at the Beast King with a smirk. "Because your animal brain won't be able to comprehend even a bit of it! Hahaha!"
"You-!" Beast King's face even though covered with black scales somehow managed to look red with anger and embarrassment.
"Alright, alright. Enough playing around. It's time to finish what you started" Kenzeth cut him of as all the playful look vanished from his face and was replaced my a hard look. "Years ago you took away everything from me. My family, my friends, my love... Everything! I travelled countless realm, went through countless trial, all of it, just for this day. Today I'll quench the thirst of my vengeance."
"Today you'll die!"
Kenzeth raised his hand as wisps of dark, mysterious mana began seeping out of his chest and began gathering in raised hand, forming a black halo.
Seeing the halo the Beast King's face fell and he began to panic.
"What are doing, you fool?! You'll kill yourself too with that!" Beast King screamed, panic seeping into his voice. The sky darkened and the wind picked up as the Black Halo began to spin frantically.
"Hahaha! Did you think I didn't know that?! I know that you old fogey! But I don't care! Hahaha! This is the only way to break that Divine blessing of Crescent Saint which guards your soul!" Kenzeth screamed with a mad cackle. Demonic purple lighting sparked at the centre of Halo and then through the whole Black Halo giving it a more eerie appearance.
Destructive aura began to pour out of Kenzeth's core as a great dome made of numerous Mystic Rune surrounded both of them, trapping them inside. Preventing the Beast King from escaping.
"You-!" Beast King's pupil shrunk in horror as he finally realised. "You were planning this the whole time?!"
"Haha! So you finally realised huh? Well, it doesn't matter anymore. Ten Thousand Hellish Prison is sealing array that not even a Demon like you at the peak of Heaven Corrupt Stage can break out of!"
"Y-You're insane!" Beast King spluttered out in disbelief as he became fore frightened with each passing second sensing the terrifying aura that was coming from Kenzeth. "Cease your actions at once you damn mortal! You will kill us both! What is the use of vengeance if you are dead?!"
"Hahaha! I've come so far after going through so much, it's impossible to stop now." Kenzeth said as his rage burned in his bright eyes. There was no point in answering that animal infront of him after all, he's gonna be dead meat soon.
His expression turned graved as lightning consumed his body. The hand maintaining the halo started to turn black signalling that it was ready.
Even between the chaos Kenzeth couldn't help but recite a saying he had come across during his journey.
"He who seeks vengeance must dig two graves; One for his enemy and the other for himself." Kenzeth smirked. "I have dug graves for the both of us and have filled mine with my blood and flesh... now it's time I put you to rest in yours!"
Crouching low Kenzeth burst towards the Beast King and brandishing the his finally attack. Beast King began thrust his own attack towards Kenzeth in desperation.
"Die sh*tty mortal!"
"After you animal!"
"Crimson Scorching Sun!"
"Azrael's Halo of Annihilation!"
Bright light consumed then both as two powerful attacks meet in the middle. Beast King's most powerful move disintegrated soon after coming in contact with the Halo fallowed by the Beast King's Divine Blessing and then the Beast King, himself. A big explosion consumed the Divine Mountain which could be seen and heard from miles away.
Minutes later when it the light died down and the dust settled, the biggest mountain of the Heaven's Blaze continent was reduced to a third of it's original height.
In the middle of crater laid Kenzeth. His right hand and torso was charred black. He laid on the ground looking at the sky which had began to clear up.
The Golden dust floating in the air was the Beast King's essence which was being absorbed by Kenzeth.
The Essence contains the knowledge obtained by the Beast King over countless millenniums and a part of his original power. This made the essence priceless.
Absorbing the essence would give him all the knowledge of the Beast King and the part of his power but it wasn't enough to save him from his death.
"Not that it concerns me anymore... The only reason I have worked so hard, the reason I have lived so long is just for revenge, to avenge all those people that died at the hand of this b*stard." Kenzeth smiled sadly, his eyes were empty the flames that burned so fiercely not a while ago had died down. All left were the eyes of a man who has seen too much and been through far too much.
The reason he was absorbing the Beast King's essence was so that nobody else could obtain it. Kenzeth had damaged his Core when using the forbidden Magic Art. So one wouldn't obtain anything from him.
After absorbing all the essence by forcing his damaged core Kenzeth's life force began depleting quickly.
Using last of his strength Kenzeth walked to the edge of the broken mountain and with one last look towards the beautiful sunset he threw himself towards the Bottomless Grim Valley.
"Everyone... I have avenged you. I am on my way too..."
Kenzeth closed his eyes and everything turned black.

"Argh... The hell? I... I am still alive?!" A startled voice resonated softly in a dark cell. A young man no older that 14, wearing expensive looking robes which were dirty and worn, sat up-straight waking up from unconsciousness.
"Huh? Of course you are still alive scum. It's unfortunate that you weren't hanged to death in public for your crime, but her grace, the Empress had promised that your punishment wouldn't be an easy one. You will suffer a fate worse that death." A guard standing outside the cell sneered at him coldly as he gripped the spear in his hand tightly as if restraining himself from attacking. "Now shut your disgusting mouth and wait for your trial or I'll come in and teach you a good lesson!"
The young man frowned in confusion and walked towards the bars.
"Trial? What did I do mister?" He asked innocently. The guard blanked out for a movement before he regained his senses. The guard's face turned red in anger and he almost broke the spear gripping it too hard.
"You... You don't know what you did?" The guard gritted out.
"No... What did I do?" The young asked gripping the bars.
"You actually have the audacity to act innocent?!" The guard was beyond enraged and kicked the young man in stomach through the gap in the bars. The force of the kick sent the poor guy flying and hit the wall. The young man clutched his stomach and spat out a mouthful of blood. "Maybe that will help you remember! B*stard! You fate is going to be force than death! You r*ped her highness, the Second Royal Princess! The nerve of this scum!"
The young man's eyes widened in shock hearing the man's word and just as he opened his mouth to speak a sharp pain coursed through his head and memories that weren't his assaulted him.
Kenzeth A. Marsh, the First Royal Prince of the Rising Heaven Country. Born to Arnold J. Marsh and Anna Marsh, a child though to be abandoned by the Heavens, as he was the first Royal to be born without meridians. A natural cripple. But in exchange was gifted a mind like no other.
A genius among all the scholars and tacticians. His achievements were known throughout the Southern Continent.
After the death of the Royal Emperor he was supposed to be crowned as the Emperor but having no interest in it, he passed the opportunity in pursue of knowledge.
Even without any fighting ability, the Prince was an extremely fearsome figure. People afraid of his potential tried to have him assassinated on multiple occasions but were never successful. His mind was his greatest asset.
But...
Even his greatest asset couldn't prepare or protected against the betrayal of his own kin. His own little sister, who he had always loved dearly plotted against him and framed him. Destroying his hard built reputation and reducing him to nothing but a lustful rapist.
Inviting him to her chambers, drugging his tea and making a big scene purposely to frame him. The servants, the ministers and even the Royal Empress, his own mother, was a part of this.
The Prince's conscience and soul had shattered due to the shock of betrayal and the beating he took from the Second Princess' personal guard left him nothing more than a husk without a soul.
At the same time Kenzeth K. Khaoscrest, The Supreme Wizard, who died just after defeating the Beast King, his soul travelled through the bridge between Universes and landed in the body of this poor lad.
"This... This isn't a coincidence! It's the Fate pulling my strings!" The young man, Kenzeth, looked at his blooded hands in fascination and then came to decision.
He clenched his fist as the inferno in his eyes had returned once again and was burning with more fervour. "Since, I have already transmigrated into this body then it's my duty to take care of it! Don't worry Prince, rest easy wherever you are. I, Kenzeth Khaoscrest, swear that you will be avenged!"
"Whoever behind this mess can't stay hidden forever! I'll find you and I promise... You'll regret crossing me!"
