.
Kenzeth crouched low, hiding in tall grass as he kept his eyes trained on his soon-to-be lunch.
Just a few metres away from Kenzeth was a Demonic Beast that greatly resembled a bull. It was a strong looking Beast, 4 feet tall, it's dark blue hide had a metallic shine to it and it had 6 deadly horns. Two on each side of its head and two near above its snout.
The beast was leisurely grazing on beautiful looking purple grass which was giving of an extraordinary aura.
'Blue Iron Taurus, while vegetarian and passive beast by nature it still bears the same hatred against humanity that Demonic Beast seem to share. That fat*ss is actually grazing on precious Purple Profound Spirit Grass so casually... Even if a single streak of that grass appeared in the 9 Divine Continent then, it would surely cause a huge commotion."
Purple Profound Spirit Grass has incredible medicinal value and is the main ingredient is making the 'Godly Bone Refining Pill'.
'Godly Bone Refining Pill' is an incredible pill that as the name suggests greatly strengthens one's bones which can be very beneficial to strengthen the foundation of Cultivators who have just started cultivating, that means for those who are at the Refining Realm.
Cultivators, in the world of Onora are divided in five known realms.
Refining Realm, Abyssal Realm, Purgatory Realm, Horizon Realm and Essence Realm, lowest to the highest respectively.
Each Realm has three Stages and each Stage has three Levels: Early, Mid, Late. 'Peak' is the unspoken Level or the Level where one reaches bottleneck but it isn't recognized as one.
For example, the Refining Realms three Stages are: Body Refining Stage → Inner Refining Stage → Spirit Refining Stage.
Kenzeth who just got the ability to Cultivate the previous night, is at the Early Body Refining Stage.
Holy Ancestors are believed to be at the peak of the Essence Realm.
In the 9 Divine Continent climbing the ranks in the world of Cultivation was incredibly difficult with the limited amount of resources.
This was one of the reasons of the high tension between the countries of the Divine Continents.
The Hunter's Guild and The Alchemist's Guild were doing best to generate resources. They have tried numerous methods and have succeeded to some extent.
Hunter's Guild is made up of brave and the 9 Cultivators who descend to 'The World Below' to hunt Demonic Beasts for their cores as they are beneficial to help Cultivators breakthrough.
While their initial purpose was hunting beasts in the beginning they now had started taming and breeding Demonic Beasts so that Cultivators don't have to risk their lives ofter.
Alchemist's Guild comprises of scholars who are well versed in the art of making Miracle Pills for a wide range of situations. From increasing Cultivation Potential and Level to curing plaguing diseases.
The potential of pills was only limited to the ability of an alchemist.
But there was one thing that was essential in the art of pill creation and that was raw ingredients.
When the Holy Ancestors created the Floating Land it was only just a vast barren, floating land with normal vegetation and water.
In the hasty creation of the vast land they had neglected to prepare natural resources that was necessary for a Cultivator to grow stronger.
This is the main reason why there is a severe lack of Strong Cultivators in the 9 Divine Continents.
During the Golden Era Cultivators only relied on Pills to increase their Cultivation Level, which are created using natural ingredients that are only produced down in 'The World Below'.
It was only after the emergence of the Holy Ancestors the substitute to increase the Cultivation Level was discovered. Demonic Beast cores were that substitute.
And it's very hard to obtain. Low level Beasts are easy to kill but they similarly give low level cores or no cores at all.
High level Beasts give high level cores but are hard to kill. Sometimes even a party of Cultivators in Purgatory Realm would be demolished if they encountered a Beast in Red-Gold Realm.
According to Kenzeth's knowledge from on Beasts from previous world, they have a different ranking system.
The ranks are: Copper Stage, Silver Stage, Gold Stage, Red-Gold Stage, Platinum Stage, Corrupt-Platinum Stage, Hell's Gate Stage, Inferno Stage, Earth Corruption Stage, Horizon Corruption Stage, Heaven Corruption Stage.
Weakest being the Copper Stage and the strongest being the Heaven Corruption Stage.
Each stage, further has nine levels. The Crimson Lupus that he encountered and killed yesterday was a Level-Three beast of Gold Stage.
The 'Blue Iron Taurus' infront of him is a Level-Nine beast of Silver Stage. It's only a step away from breaking through and evolving into a 'Black-Steel Taurus' where it's skin would become as hard as black-steel where it would become much harder to kill.
Kenzeth naturally couldn't allow.
Kenzeth took a breath and strengthened his 'invisibility' spell.
He raised his hand and mana began gathering in his hand, taking a physical form.
A longsword made of blue mana appeared in his hand. Kenzeth grabbed it tightly with his right and tensed his leg muscles.
The bull to tensed as he felt an impending sense of doom but even as it looked around it couldn't find anything unusual and was confused.
Kenzeth used it's state of confusion and rushed out his hiding spot. Kenzeth approached the Beast and jumped towards it while slashing his sword.
By the time the beast noticed Kenzeth it's head was already severed and sent rolling on the ground.
"Well... That settles food for two more days." Kenzeth dusted his hands after dispersing the Mana Blade. Raising his hand Kenzeth stored the body of the beast into his Soul Space. "Convenient much.."
It was one of the many characteristics of Kenzeth's Soul Space. It gave him the ability to store without a limit. Though there was one restriction. He couldn't store living beings into his Soul Space.
After collecting several streaks of Purple Profound Spirit Grass Kenzeth happily trekked back to his 'home'.
"The things that are so scarce in the 9 Divine Continents are available here in abundance. I'm enjoying here..." Kenzeth smiled as he hummed a tune.
After lunch Kenzeth sat in his room and guide his conscience to his Soul Space.
Opening his eyes Kenzeth found himself in the familiar surroundings of his Soul Space. He smiled to himself and began walking forward, water rippling softly with each step he took.
He raised his hand and a platform made of some aquamarine crystal rose from the depths of the water. Climbing up Kenzeth took a seat on it as the platform raised him higher and higher until he was amongst the sea of the numerous stars.
"Hmm... Now that I've decided to Cultivate and become strong enough to face the danger when I go back up, it's mandatory that I decide how I want to Cultivate and which method I should Cultivate." Kenzeth said to himself and began to ponder.
As the most powerful Wizard in his previous who had studied almost every art and profession his knowledge was vast but when it came to Cultivation, Kenzeth had the urge to smack himself for not learning enough.
His knowledge on Cultivation Techniques was whack. In simpler words
"I don't know sh*t about Cultivation Techniques." Kenzeth cursed the past him for his negligence but sighed in relief when he found an alternative. "But that doesn't mean that I am helpless.. I have the knowledge of the Beast King who had reached the peak of Heaven's Corruption Stage."
According to the Legend the Beast King was a low-level Demonic Beast who became powerful after fighting, killing and consuming other Demonic Beasts and warriors of different species alike.
After breaking through to the Hell's Gate Realm he gained intelligence that rivalled that of humans and actually began Cultivating actively.
After breaking through to the Earth's Corruption Realm he obtained a humanoid form and the ability to speak human tongue, becoming the first Demonic Beast to achieve that feat. From that point on, he started assembling the Demonic Army in attempt to rule over all the realms.
But he had reached a bottleneck when he reached the peak of Heaven Corruption Realm and had frantically researched many different Cultivation Techniques in attempt to break through and become a God Kin.
But for that he needed to Comprehend the Law Of Universe that only Kenzeth had been able to obtain in the entire history. Kenzeth killed the Beast King before he could breakthrough and absorbed did essence.
"With the knowledge of beast king I should be able to obtain a formidable Cultivation Technique." Kenzeth hummed to himself and began surfing through Beast King's memory.
After a while his eyes lit up in absolute glee and it became hard for him to stop himself from cackling like a madman.
A thin beautiful black manual materialised before Kenzeth. On the cover of the book was it's name.
'Ultimate Void Cultivation Method'
"This Cultivation Technique is the definition of a cheat. A Cultivation Technique which allows one to cultivate the power of the Void, making the body strong and granting enormous Qi Reserves. But the best part is that it allows assimilation of other Cultivation Technique into itself."
What it basically means is that, Kenzeth can feed other Cultivation Techniques to the 'Ultimate Void Cultivation Technique', which will absorb the key features of those Techniques and make those feature it's own.
Beast King had always been regretful as he was unable to Cultivate using this technique as it required one to start from absolute bottom.
It was the perfect match for Kenzeth.
"Awesome! Truly awesome! Now I should choose other Cultivation Techniques and should assimilate it with the 'Ultimate Voice Cultivation Technique'." Kenzeth nodded to himself and once again began surfing through Beast King's memory.
"Alright! These should be enough." Kenzeth said looking at the four different manual floating infront of him.
" 'Susanoo's Spirit Cultivation Technique' will allow me to cultivate wind, water, lightning and metal elements."
" 'Divine Celestial Bodies' will allow me to cultivate fire, earth, wood, solar and lunar elements."
" 'Annihilation Body' will allow me to temper my body to it's fullest extent by moulding it into a perfect, indestructible weapon meant for killing."
" 'Cosmic Path Integration' will allow me to increase my soul strength and will create a perfect harmony between the other Cultivation Techniques."
"Okay! It's decided then!" Kenzeth smiled and began reading the Cultivation Manuals.
He started first by reading the 'Ultimate Void Cultivation Technique' and after reading he adopted a meditative posture and began to circulate his Qi as per as the instructions in the manual.
Kenzeth's Heavenly Dantian hummed happily as it began to evolve accordingly. A golden lotus was born in his Dantian and soon it bloomed and evolved becoming surrounded by domineering greyish aura.
"Success!" Kenzeth exclaimed happily. He then turned to the next manual and repeated the same process.
The Dantian began to hum happily once gain accepting everything thrown at it with open arms.
As Kenzeth finished assimilating 'Susanoo's Spirit Cultivation' technique, four small spheres representing the elements of wind, water, lightning and metal appeared. Each softly sitting on different petals of the majestic golden lotus.
Small sphere representing fire, earth, wood, solar and lunar appeared when Kenzeth assimilated 'Divine Celestial Bodies' technique.
After assimilation of the 'Annihilation Body' techniques the Lotus became bigger and stronger and a golden floating halo appeared over it.
A beautiful lake of sparkling, clear blue water materialized below the lotus after Kenzeth finished assimilating the last technique, 'Cosmic Path Integration'.
Kenzeth felt his conscience return his body as he finished the lengthy process of assimilating the Cultivation Techniques.
He panted heavily and laid himself on his bed which he made using the hide of the Crimson Lupus and some dry grass.
He noticed that it was already midnight as beautiful moonlight creeped into his room from the window.
"Huff... Huff... Damn.. That was unexpectedly exhausting.. But, I'm glad." Kenzeth smiled tiredly. He raised his right hand and a beautiful golden lotus materialized in his hand.
Kenzeth admired the lotus for a while and smirked cockily to himself.
"This is just the beginning.."
"The world has done everything to stop me and yet I still stand. Your hate does nothing but fuel the rage inside of me which tempering me."
"With each passing second I only grow stronger and I will keep doing that until I will become capable of holding the world in my own two hands."
Kenzeth dismissed the lotus and placed his hand over his heart and solemnly took a vow.
"I promise you little prince, I will definitely avenge you. You should rest easy, your loved ones are safe in the hands of this Supreme Autocrat."
Kenzeth smiled as he felt his conscience drifting, exhaustion finally catching up to him.
"I will... take care if everything..."
