Chapter 7 - Dragon Age Part 6 A Mirror is a Gateway to more

Thrasher and the group made it through the ruins with ease. The Dalish retrieving any artifacts. The Chasind were outside. Cleaning the area. Corsu made sure they stayed safe while helping. Volus, as a Lion hunt in the surrounding area. Thrasher made it clear in front of the Dalish he was taken the ruins as his own. They grumbled but said nothing else. They couldn't claim it themselves are fix it. To scared and untrained.

"Hmmm, these spiders are something else." Thrasher commented. He waved his hand sending them away to the Moss. "Corruption mixed as well. Oh boy." Norad, his Operator got in touch with him.

Norad: Several of the Ork humans are ready. Thanks for the break. First time I had one since before the War really. Refreshed and have fixed a lot of things up. Oh, also signed up to become a Higher Tier Operator. Which will clear a lot of things for you. I am reviewing Quests in a World you are set up in as we converse.

'That's good.' Thrasher didn't mind, since he needed to get use to having an Operator again. 'Those orks.. send some here, and a bit of them will meet up with Tracker in Ostagar. Send him word to bring them around and introduce them to Elissa. Train her and the Elf Sarel if they can.'

Norad: Not a problem. Tracker has done a good job getting to know the forces there. The midgets have down a fantastic job in getting intel and working to get forces to their side.

'Keep me appraised of the situation. Check on Mallol and the rest for me.' Put his actual armor on. The Chroma Prime armor was needed to deal with the danger of the mirror. The Blade of Olympus was condensed in his upper back. Able to be drawn by him in a moment's notice. 'I am going to get something really dangerous.'

Norad: Understood. I will look over anything you put in your inventory as soon as you get just incase. Bad enough, you have come across some of the corruption here already.

The Operator made a few notes and stopped talking through the link. Working on everything that needed to be done. Such as sending a report on what Thrasher recovered. Thrasher decided to use a few Pulls.

System: X-Pull x1 + Common Pull x5 + Auxiliary Pull x2 + Armor Pull x1 Weapon Pull x1 .. target locked.. All Platforms... Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.. BioChip + Augmentations.. D.G. fusing.... 30 minutes to complete. After full sleep, everything will be available.

'Meh, ok .' Thrasher mentally scoffed as he moved. After a little effort, he was able to control the mark on his forehead appearing. Which was not really a problem. 'More quests and more fun.' Next to him, one of the Dalish elves kept her eye on him. 'Having someone keep a close eye on me, smart move. Considering I am using all of their people as spies, not a problem by me. The spores should have gotten them all by now.'

"So.. are you going to.. umm.." The City elf had a terrible time talking with humans still. But it was the same talking with the Dalish. Her mother was a city elf that left the Alienage of Denerim. Despite her father being a Dalish elf, she was treated like City elf. Which resulted in troubles on both fronts. Junar was the old one to treat her fairly. And Merril, but she did that for all elves no matter the circumstance. " I am.. Amara by the way."

"I am aware. Keep safe, you do not look like a .." Thrasher spotted an Spider moving further ahead. He threw the axe killing it in an instant. With a flick of his hand, it reappeared back in his hand. ".. indoor fighter. That bow will not do well here. Especially if spiders come around the corner quickly."

"You are right. But my daggers broke and my armor is bad off." Amara wished she was able to afford better ones. but the merchant Ilen was a bastard and hicked prices up on her. "I just have to make do."

"Nah." Thrasher turned to her and reached out. "Remove the bad armor and I will give you a loaner. I rather not have you dying here. they might blame me for it." Amara removed the armor with out a second thought. The space stone pulsed as her armor disappeared. Thrasher needed it for a base for something later. "Nice body. Juren must have trouble keeping his eyes off you. And done."

*Sching!* The armor appeared on her in an instant. A dark purple and covered her completely. Amara moved around and felt it was to soft to be true. She could almost feel the stone beneath her feet like an afterthought.

"This is amazing. I will try my best not to break it." Amara said. She stood stock-still at his other comment coming to her mind. "Juren does not see me that way. I am just his friend. Only one that showed any attention, was Tamlen and Pol. But they are.. odd. I rather not .."

"Do not get with anyone unless you can get something from it. Or, you are having fun. That is my motto." Thrasher shrugged. He turned back as Amara equipped her bow on her back. Two daggers in her hands from the armor now. "I expect you to get the armor damaged. As long as you come back, that mean it did it's job."

"Right." Amara nodded following along. A small spell in the helmet working on her. Passing on Ork Kommando information. But Amara was no fool. She could sense the armor magic at work. She allowed it to work without resisting. 'I will need all the help I can get if I am to keep surviving. I do not want to die like mother did.'

Inner Chamber-

.

Thrasher made sure to search every room. Bypassing the main door. every area of interest was marked. All the items stashed away and collapsing areas reinforced. A few of the Ork Humans entered. 5 of them went to deal with a particular infested room. Another 25 went to deal with a chasm that lead underground.

Outside was taken care of complete. A small camp was set up to get started for the future. Volus would be in charge of the outpost.

"Ready?" Thrasher asked over his shoulder. Amara nodded. "Here goes nothing." Stepping inside, the two felt a chill run pass them. Straight through the protection of the armor. "Yup, breaking it.. was a dumb thing to do."

"Brrr, I do not like it." Amara said. She shivered visibly and looked around the room. The mirror did not interest her after knowing how dangerous it was. The two statues looked pretty nice. But.. she would not walk up the steps to check. "I will clear the room for anything."

"Careful, twisted magic can make things revive." Thrasher said. Moving around, he inspected the area. faint traces of unknown energy tapped against him.

System: Arcana Check Auto Pass

The area was breached by the Fade. And something further. Leaking energy into the Fade then into this area. Not normal at all. But in the Game, the area was more or less left alone. Besides Merril coming to take the mirror and getting influenced by the demon that whispers to her.

Thrasher fixed the mirror and the statues. Walking up, he touched it. The mark lighting up as soon as he touched. Elgar'nan appeared and drifted forward. Basically an elf that had facial features the same as Thrasher. Thrasher Soul was two power as a User and to powerful from all he had been thrown.

If the Spirit of Elgar'nan would have tried to influence him, he would have paid a terrible price. As the Three ork gods would not allow their Chosen to be changed. It was bad enough he was no longer a beautiful ork. But an ugly ummie now. It was a good thing he was still such a lovely little monster.

A few others entered the chamber. Juren, Merril, and a few Dalish caught sight of Thrasher at work. Paying more attention to the image of Elgar'na. Offering praise, prayers and speaking out. Elgar'nan floated to them each and gave them a simple touch. Showing what laid in the future. Thrasher continued to make the mirror his own. Spreading his Domain inside. Gork, Bork, and Mork went in thrashing about. Destroying demons and marking the territory.

"Hahahaha! So much room!" Gork laughed. His voice spreading far. He stopped against a thick mist that kept them from going further. "All we need now, is a good anchor into that there Fade."

"Ehehe, soon and we will have a Realm of our own to tear apart. Better than the blasted Chaos Gods and others." Mork rubbed his large hands togethor. Turning to look outside the mirror at Elgar'nan. "Oi, what to do about that pointy ears?"

"Nothing. He will bring another faction under Thrasher." Bork said. Surprisingly, this ork god was actually a female. A rough-looking female but a female none the less. Just facial expressions kept Bork from looking pretty. But with the two brothers she had, she had reasons to scowl.'Greedy little gits! Just mad cause I am smarter than them. And stronger! Had to gang up on me to win!'

The two bastards were sneakily cunning and cunningly sneaky. Isolated her back in their Homeworld of Warhammer, Warhammer 30k, and Warhammer 40k even books no longer mention her. She was fading amongst the Users and the their kind. But, she had a plan. That worked very well. But Thrasher and Azul loved her dearly. So she would always exist in the end. Just needed more power in case the two tried something again.

"But we are the main thing.. right?" Gork sat on his but. Scratching at his chin. "We did kick butt in that war. Hahaha, fun times. Almost had my full of fighting. Then, there was more fighting. And then some more!"

"Ahhhh it was so fun. But it will not be long till another one. This Blight sounds fun." Mork looked at his siblings before spotting someone in the mirror with them. "Ey! There he is! That Tamlan boy! Get em! Get em!"

Tamlen ran back into the mist. At least thought he was going to. A green energy wrapped around him. He was pulled back towards the caster. Bork wrapped him up then paralyzed him. She was the smarter of the other lot.

"My name is Tamlen! Let me go you ugly Darkspawn!" Tamlen raged. He couldn't get free as he was brought up to Bork's eye. The demon inside trembled in terror at the sight. Something so powerful could do a terrible amount of damage to it. 'Shut up stupid elf! Do not mention me!'

"Humph!" Bork was about to bit the elf's head off but remembered that Thrasher was looking for him the same as the elves. "You two keeping playing around in here, I am gonna go back with the prize. Hur hur." He chuckled darkly.

"I spotted him, so I should bring em back." Mork said.

"Eh, but I killed the most of the wandering little demons." Gork chimed in. He looked around rolling his eyes not really caring either way. Just causing trouble really. "Hmmm, maybe just.."

'I will leave you three in there if you do not hurry up.' Thrasher thought to the three. In an instant, they shot out back into him. Tamlen was dropped in front of Thrasher. Still paralyzed besides his head. "Oh, how interesting."

"Tamlen!" Merril cried. She was going to run to help him but stopped. For one reason. Elgar'nan floated in front shaking his head. The more she looked, the more she noticed the similarities to Thrasher. In a pop, Elgar'nan went into Thrasher. "Why?"

"because.. he is sick." Amara said. She had a book in her hand that she found. "A demon has possessed that mirror for the longest. Several before Tamlen have fallen to it." She gave the book to Merril. No real reason why just felt it was to be. 'Hmmm, whatever.'

*Sching!* Thrasher pulled out Blade of Olympus. Is shined brightly in the room. Causing Tamlen to scream in pain. He was not alone as Thrasher swung the blade down.
