???: "*Huff* *Huff* *Huff* It's over... I've won... 'General'."

'General': "Is it really, Lt. Rowe? No, you've went rogue, so it merely Logan now. *sigh* But I want to know how you've 'won'? Thanks to me, the world won't have to worry about a third world war. There will be no disputes over borders, no fights for their countries, no crime, or racial hate! I will be a hero!"

Logan: "You've attacked countries, you gassed villages, your using threats of nuclear attacks against world powers with their own nukes. You've killed tens of thousands of innocent people for your own gain. And would have killed hundreds of millions more! Your no hero, you worse then the second coming of Hitler."

Two figures were outlined in-front of a massive missile that had the word 'Unity' written in to in bold white lettering going down it. Their faces were covered by shadows, but their bodies could be seen thanks to the lights shining on the missile. One had a pressed, clean suit; covered in a multitude of metals with 5 gold stars in a pentagon on his chest, with his hands behind his back and a smile on his face. The other was covered in miscellaneous pieces of heavily worn body armor. One hand holding a gun, pointing at the 'General'; while the other was holding a profusely bleeding wound on his stomach. Both were young men no older then their 30's.

'General': "Worse then the second coming of Hitler? Now that's a bit much, after-all, I'm a five star General, while your a renegade soldier who 'killed his commander and nearly started a third world war'. Who would believe you?"

Logan: "The U.N"

'General': "Oh? How so?"

Logan: "You left enough evidence at your villa in Italy. That was all it took for them to see what you are."

'General': "Please, all i need to say is that it was planted. Fake an terrorist attack and counter it, and all will be well. Nothing would change, and you would still have lost."

Logan: " 'Filium meum, ut amantes, William'." (To my loving son, William) [Latin]

The smile disappeared from the 'General's' face, what replaced it was a face of pure untamed rage. Logan started to laugh, a smile now adorned his pale face. He lowered his gun and throw it over the side of the railing on the catwalk they were standing on. Quickly pulling out a ginormous revolver, with what he said written on the side from his back.

'General': "You bastard. WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SON?!"

His hands now at his sides. His knuckles turned white from how hard he was gripping his hands. His eyes locked on the revolver.

Logan: "He was your second-in-command and your partner-in-crime. All I did was simple. I eliminated the guards at his house and made a call from one of their phones to the local news station, and put it up to his little 'Play' room, so that they could hear all the wonderful things that he was doing to those poor women and children. Then I left the address and the location of the hidden room with all your dealings. I swiped this and left. The U.N. then raided your villa, and the location of this facility was reviled."

'General': "Damned Idiot! No matter, it's too late anyways, in less then two hours 'Unity' will launch and I will be hailed as a hero or all will be erased. Simple as that!"

As the 'General' spoke, explosions could be heard resounding throughout the complex they were inside of. Warning lights and sirens went haywire as the complex was being under siege. As the explosions finished, Logan shot the 'General' in the legs, forcing him to the ground.

'General': "AHH! YOU DAMN BASTARD! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! When my men get here, I will make you suffer!"

Logan: "They won't come. I made sure of it."

A third and final shot resounded. Logan had finished what he set out to do. As Logan walked away from the body of the 'General', dropping the gun at its feet, he slowly staggered into a corridor. The shot to his stomach had severely damaged his internal organs, and he knew that his life was coming to an end. As he came to a crossed hallway, he fell against the wall and slid down to the floor. Breathing heavily and with a lot of pain, he took out a sealed envelope in an laminated package from his boot side. On the front of the envelope, in big bold, black lettering, read 'To the commanding officer of whoever finds this'. Logan looked upon the envelope, the smile never left his face. Coughing, he coughed up a bit of blood that started to fill his mouth on to the envelope. Voices could be heard coming from the hall towards Logan, Logan tried his best to sit straight up to see who would becoming. As the people the voices came from rounded the corner, Logan could just make out the U.N. armbands and patches of the soldiers that turned the corner. Logan just managed to wave his arm and got their attention, as they approached, Logan held out the envelope to one of them. One soldier walked up and took it from him.

Logan: "Tha...nk *cough* y..ou *cough* *cough*"

Soldier: "Hey, your gonna be alright. Andre! Quick, get over here!"

Logan couldn't hear them, to him everything was going black. The soldier called Andre rushed up to see what he can do. As he got there, he new it was too late. Logan had closed his eyes.

Andre: "Sir, its too late. He's gone."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Logan gave the envelope and said thank you, he felt his mind fade and all his thought went quiet. To him, what felt like seconds past when he heard an angelic female voice speak to him.
???: "I must say, you are the first mortal to have come here in a mega-anuum (1,000,000 years) or longer."
Logan: "Who is that? I know I died, so I can't be dreaming."
???: "Very astute young one. I'm am know by many names, and those who have heard of me fear my ire."
Logan: "Karma."
Not a question. But a statement. Logan said this unknowingly. It was as if his very soul recognized her voice.
Karma: "That is one of my many names, but yes. I am the goddess Karma, a god older then the biblical god and many others."
Logan: "What have I done, that I have the honor of meeting you, goddess Karma."
Logan's voice was tinged with fear. His mind racing to find out why he has met her. Karma sensed this and spoke again.
Karma: "Fear not mortal, you have done a great service."
Logan: "May I ask what I have done to receive this?"
Karma: "Your action save trillions of lives. You stopped a war that would have destroyed your world. Making it a barren wasteland were no life could flourish. You have earned enough good merit that it granted you an audience with me. For you, I shall grant you a boon."
Logan: "What do you mean?"
Karma: "I am a god that governs tens of trillions of worlds. Some of those worlds have stories based off them, the mortals of your world have written about them. The one know as Masashi Kishimoto who wrote the story of Naruto is one, Eiichiro Oda the author of One Piece is an another example. These are some of the stories that mortals have seen based off of real worlds I watch over."
Logan: "I though those were just stories! So, some of the stories in my world were based off of real worlds. I guess that means there are inconsistencies as well."
Karma: "You are correct. Eiichiro Oda, for example, he does not realize that he is being guided by that world. And one day, his story will end and that world will continue without him knowing. As well as the hidden factions and others beyond his realm of thought."
Logan: "Amazing. But what's it got to do with me?"
Karma: "Young one, I tell you this because I watched your life play out when you arrived. I watched as you grew up in a dysfunctional household, watched as you nearly gave up on life, find a light to guide you into a better future, marry, and your draft into a conflict, and your wife's miscarriage. I watched you as you nearly gave up all that you have when your wife died in an accident, watched as you drank away your pain, then as you climbed your way back up for the people you once called 'brothers'; I saw how they betrayed you. I watched you as they throw you away and made you a monster. And finally, I watched as you became a hero to the world."
Logan: "Wait, what do you mean hero?"
Karma: "Thanks to your actions, you put a stop to a third world war and several nuclear strikes to populated cities. The soldiers that found you, read the letter you left, told the world your story. The U.N. pushed for you to be the second six star general in history and the first statue to be built on their new floating city named 'Haven'. Your name went untold, but your story became know world wide. The name they gave you was 'The Nameless 6 Stared Hero'."
Logan: "*sigh* All I wanted was to be forgotten about. But what's done is done. And I can't change that."
Karma: "You have accepted this well. The last mortal I dealt with was demanding many, many things. You are a strange one."
Logan: "As I said, I can't change what happened. I just have to move on."
The goddess Karma started laughing. This startled Logan who was not expecting this at all. Once the goddess calmed down, even though Logan couldn't see her, he could tell she was smiling at him.
Karma: "I have taken a liking to you young one. I was simply going to give you a second life in a different world. Now I'll let you choose which one you go to with a little extra as a gift."
Logan: "Why?"
Karma: "I've faced many mortals. Some demanded a lot, some to return to their world, others bargained for what they wanted. Your the first one to accept it as is and didn't fight it."
Logan: "No need. Send me wherever you want, I don't mind at all. I will admit though, I wish I could have finished the shows and games my wife love. I could never understand why she loved them, but watching them with her made them worthwhile."
As Logan remembered about the he time spent with his wife, Karma had an idea. She smiled to herself and started changing things around for Logan. Once she was done, she called to him.
Karma: "Young one."
Logan: "Sorry, I got caught up reminiscing. Forgive me."
Karma: "It's alright young one, I don not mind. Even we gods have that habit as well. While you were reminiscing, I found worlds you would enjoy. If you would be so kind, you can pick which one you wold like to go to."
As she said this, Logan saw a transparent screen appear in his mind. On the screen was a list of possible worlds he could travel to related to the stories he and his wife watched.
Please select:
1) Naruto
2) Bleach
3) One piece
4) Hunter x Hunter
5) Fullmetal Alchemist
6) Fairy Tail
7) Blue Exorcist
8) Kateikyoushi Hit-man Reborn!
9) One-punch man
10) Beelzebub
The list went on, as Logan was scrolling through it, he stopped on one. The name of this place was called the 'World of Remnant'. Logan was stunned that this was on here, so he asked.
Logan: "Excuse me, Goddess Karma?"
Karma: "Yes?"
Logan: "These worlds you have given me to choose, would you be mad if I changed them?"
Karma smiled, unbeknownst to him Karma had already thought this through. Logan had taken the bait she had given him. It was the world of his wife's favorite show.
Karma: "Change them how?"
Logan: "One of them on here is something both me and my wife had an agreement about."
Karma: "Yes, I know of it from your memories."
Logan: "You purposely placed it on this list. I know it. All that I ask of you, is that to be reincarnated here with the power to change its path. My wife and I both agreed to change it so that it could have a better ending then it did if we got the chance."
Karma: "I know. My original plan was to send you there with out your memories. For you to live your life without feeling forced there. I had changed my mind when I had met you afterwards, I will give you the power to change it's history, but you can never tell a soul there. That is all I have to say on that matter."
Logan: "Understood! Please send me."
Karma: "If you have gained great merit again when you die. I wish to meet you once again! But for now, fair thee well and good luck!"
Karma then sent his soul the the 'World of Remnant', wishing him luck on his adventures. Logan felt his mind/soul fade as he departed. For him, a new life begins.
