Haze walked both men into the living room before he put their cars in his garage and walked back to his room.
The cops were the least of his worries right now. He was more worried about why a C- rank devil would want to kill him. He was two levels below that Devil, so it didn't make any sense why he'd be targeted.
"So, what do you think Rail? Should we be worried?" Haze loaded
"That's probably why he let those two idiots come here," Rail sighed and crossed her arms. "He wants you to go outside so he can kill you. It's like sending in a fox to scare out a mole."
"I-I don't like the sound of that," Lapis said as she passed Haze the suitcase with the money, "However, there is over a million dollars in here. We can probably buy that new mansion now... If we expand your domain, Waist can stay here for longer,"
"I miss her," Rail sighed and went over to Haze's computer and sat down on his chair, "You should call her and tell her to visit."
"I think she has enough on her plate." Haze called for Zack as he paused the remote to the dismay of the two suits, "Guys, I-I have a really bad feeling about this. We're going to run out of time soon and will have to go out for missions."
"May I offer a suggestion?" Nicety walked over to Haze and hugged him lightly with a smile, "Maybe if you do call him, he'll be willing to make a deal with you."
"That's an interesting idea. He might be willing to talk. Only three companies have software that allows unique creation." Rail tapped her foot lightly against the ground as she frowned at Nicety. "You-you getting really close to him there? Can you breathe Haze?"
"Sorry, it's because he made me loving," Nicety let go out Haze's body and passed him a cellphone, "Here, I got this from Alloy. I found only one number on it. I'm guessing he was hoping you'd call him."
"It's making me worried," Zack said as he folded his arms, "If he thought of all of this, he's smart... I am glad you're here Nicety. Now I can watch more television."
"Quick reversal," Rail sighed and held out her hand to Haze. "Pass me the phone. I want to check something."
"Check what?" Haze handed it to her as he looked down at his laptop and opened up
"Your either a friend or an enemy," Rail said as she opened up the phone and pulled out a small chip, "It looks like this phone was tapped with a microphone. However, it looks like he forgot to connect the receiver..."
"Meaning?" Haze said as he picked up the chip, "Also, how do you know this stuff?"
"I know a little about technology," Rail broke the chip in her hands, "This guy is smart, but not together... He's by himself while you have a team around you."
"I already saw that chip," Nicety said as she pushed back her red hair, "However, I figured since it wasn't working... it wasn't important."
"Of course... of course it's important!" Haze ignored the notifications and sighed as he looked at a new tab called prime promotion. "Wait, what is this? How come it showed up on
"Hover over it," Rail smiled as she pat Haze on the back, "You're lucky. It looks like you got a second hidden mission. Someone at the company must like you, or like one of us."
[Prime Promotion]
[Complete three tasks in an alternate domain to increase all your gods stats to the D rank.]
[All skills will be boosted for each of your gods, and the quality of missions you receive will increase in difficulty and reward]
[A Prime Promotion doesn't require you to kill anyone, but if you fail you will lose all chances of being a prime
[Reward: D Rank promotion, ten god credits, domain promotion, and twenty-four hours without any missions]
"Five-five hours?" Haze closed the prompt and stood up and paced back and fourth, "Do you guys know anything about it?"
"We can't know." Rail walked over to him and gently slapped her with her long sleeves, "However, you're missing the point. You can't die... There is a lot worse things to worry about right now!"
"Yup, like how nine of us can all work together," Nicety pointed at the backyard, "We can start practicing outside if you want? The devil can wait until after your promotion."
"We still haven't even made the two next gods yet!" Haze looked at the timer for his gods. He had two hours until he could make his next god and two hours after that until he could make his ninth. "Just-just go outside and practice. I'll be here working on some designs..."
"Okay, we'll be outside," Rail snapped her fingers and appeared in the yard, She sighed and looked at Haze in the window as the rest of the bunch came outside.
There was a small series of bushes and a pool with a few dozen large trees.
"Well, I'll be sitting here." Rail said as she folded her arms, "Unless you all want to die, I'll try not to stare."
"I want to fight you," Zack said as he pulled out his blade and pointed it at Nicety, "Lapis, you're on my team."
"I-I feel weird seducing a girl," Lapis blushed and walked up to Zack as Port walked up to Nicety. "I'll be your shield, Zack. Be nice to me."
"I can't do much," Mace sighed and sat by Rail at a white round table and crossed her legs, "If you need me, just say my name."
"Waxing, come here," Zack said as he looked at the brunette standing by the door with her arms crossed, "She's stronger then me... I should have the I've been here longer advantage."
"I-I I'll watch too..." Waxing walked up to Rail and smiled as she sat on the chair next to her. "It's so nice to not have to be worn for once... Such a sunny day... Who do you think will win?"
"My bet is on no one," Rail looked at Mack as he stood with his arms crossed at the door, "Come here, Mack! Bring some food and then sit with us!"
"I-I feel so strange. Why do you guys care?" Mack turned around and walked towards the kitchen. "This doesn't feel right. Haze, is it okay?"
"You're family, Mack. Stop worrying," Haze smiled at him before he opened
"She is," Mack walked towards the kitchen as the two men watched television and ignored him. "She's sort of a high ranking angel... I'll tell you about her another time when she's not listening..."
