"Ravenclaw came in yowling about you meeting up with two kittypets on your assessment." Starpaw quickly straighten up and meowed, "They were cats that lived with me back when I was a.." Starpaw was worried what her leader would think after she said this. "kittypet, but we were like family. I couldn't help myself to not talk to them." Instead of hearing Firestar scream at Starpaw, you can hear the wise words that could often lead to a huge thing. "Do you wish that you have stayed back in your Twoleg house, Starpaw?" gently meowed Firestar. "Of course not! My place is here, and I wouldn't ever want to leave! When I saw Smudge and Rusty and I talked to them, I saw what my life would of been like if I stayed! This made me certain that my place is here. I would of never been satisfied if my life continued as a kittypet!" yowled Starpaw as she was desprite for her leader to believe her. Firestar's gaze broke into warmth as he blinked down to the ground. Firestar looked back up and meowed to Starpaw, "That makes me glad that you said that. Your voice put me on a whole new level when it comes to convincing me. I spoke to Goldendust earlier, that wise old scat. She speaks very fond of you." FIiestar smiled at Starpaw as he continued. "However, something makes me not want to trust her 100%. She will stay in our clan for now, but as a prisoner not a guest. Our queens will care for her as you must focus on your training." Starpaw sighed as she was glad she could still train. "Although you showed bad judgement today, Ravenclaw put in a good word for you, all of you. He said that your hunting skills were off the chart, you and your friends. You three may come to the gathering tonight." Starpaw lit up, she jumped up to her paws and Firestar could tell his words lit a spark in her. "Thank you Firestar! But what about Sandpaw and Dustpaw?" meowed Starpaw. "They will stay behind and guard the camp. Who knows if ShadowClan will take this time to attack our camp." Starpaw felt bad for taking their spots as she mumbled, "Mhm. Alright." Firestar chuckled as he replied, "You mustn't be so modest. You earned this Starpaw, have fun." Starpaw took her frown as she smiled and walked away. Firestar jumped up a bit as he remeber something. "Oh yeah, and sometimes Bluepaw and Graypaw sneak out to Sunnyrocks and let their mind be guarded by StarClan. Most of the clan knows, but their sneakouts bring them back in a good mood. They might invite and you should say yes." meowed Firestar as he stopped Starpaw in her tracks. Starpaw nodded as she left his den to join her friends. "Oh dear. Spottedleaf our prophecy might be here." meowed Firestar as only he heard. Starpaw trotted to find her friends as she ended up in the appretices' den. "Hey, Ravenclaw told us that you were caught sharing tongues with a kittypet." meowed Bluepaw with a bit of worry. "Are you in trouble, again?" asked Graypaw as he was also worried, but decided a bit of humor in this conversion would lighten their mood. He wasn't wrong. "No, thankfully. He wasn't pleased though. He almost thought I wanted to leave camp!" replied Starpaw. Graypaw looked down at his paws then looked back up again. "You don't want to leave do you? Even with our promise in friendship?" Bluepaw was surprised Graypaw would even think that. Of course, she knew Starpaw a bit longer than Graypaw so she wasn't as offended. "Of course she wouldn't you mouse-brain!" meowed Bluepaw as she felt that their friendship was true. "Of course not! But you wouldn't believe what Firestar said!" meowed Starpaw as she wanted to tell them the news. "He said that we all can go to the gathering!" Bluepaw and Graypaw were very happy. "What about Sandpaw and Dustpaw?" asked Graypaw. "They aren't going, They have to guard the camp in case of ShadowClan." Somehow this made Bluepaw even happier. "OoHoo! I can't wait to see their faces when I tell them this!" Bluepaw yowled. "I'm surprised Firestar let me go despite the fact that I got caught talking to my friends back at the Twoleg place." meowed Starpaw. "Don't worry about that! It was just bad luck." meowed Bluepaw as she touched her nose on Starpaw's flank. "We all caught loads of prey in the assessment, that must be why we got the chance." Graypaw's mind left being lost as he meowed, "I wonder what the gathering will be like. Bluepaw and Graypaw have never gone to a gathering before as they are still young. So, this is all there of their first times going. "It's going to be great! I bet all the best warriors are going to be there. Clawface, Stonefur." listed Bluepaw. The three friends went on talking about the gathering. Meanwhile, Starpaw thought, 'I don't think it was just bad luck. He sent me so close to the Twoleg Place. Was he trying to test me? Does he even trust me?' Starpaw was hurt that Ravenclaw acted as if she wasn't loyal, but she didn't let that get to her.
