Yowls of cats rose in the forest. Cats attacking each other. A brief moment of the fight before Starpaw woke up. Starpaw got up of her nest panting. "You okay?" asked Graypaw as the Starpaw's two friends were awake. Starpaw shook herself in a calming state and nodded. "Great, we didn't mean to startle ya, just to wake you up." whispered Bluepaw. "That's okay, it wasn't your fault. Anyways show me where we go in these sneak-outs." replied Starpaw. "Follow me, we go to Sunnyrocks since the river and Silverpelt calms our minds." meowed Graypaw in a quiet tone as he ran out of the camp and into the forest with Bluepaw and Starpaw behind him. When the friends got to Sunnyrocks, they started to share tongues for a bit while talking about their journey at dawn. "Bluepaw, Graypaw? I know I'm meant to know this, but before you mentioned Silverpelt. What is that?" asked Starpaw. "Silverpelt. It's the band of stars you see in the night sky." replied Bluepaw. Graypaw also added, "And in every star of Silverpelt lies the spirits of our warrior ancestors. They say the stars closest to you, are the cats that are closest to you that hunt with StarClan." Bluepaw looked up at Silverpelt as she meowed, "Smallear and One-eye once told us that StarClan lives on a huge floating island up above with endless prey and boundful streams and fields." Starpaw looked up at Silverpelt and admired its beauty. "Why do you guys do these sneak-outs anyway?" asked Starpaw. "Well, we go here whenever we want to empty our heads and breathe in the smell of StarClan." meowed Bluepaw with a relaxed tune that told Starpaw that it actually worked. "We like to think StarClan is watching us. Well, they are anyways." added Graypaw. The three apprentices talked for a while, looking at Silverpelt. "Hey, what about we call ourselves the GBS's?" mewed Starpaw. "Oh, yeah! It's also in the order of our birth. Graypaw is the oldest, then me, and then you." replied Bluepaw. The friends gave each other looks that sat up, put their paw in, and yowled, "1, 2, 3. GBS's forever as our friendship never breaks!" The friends continued giggling, telling jokes, and talking about random stuff. "I see why they do these sneak-outs now, Spottedleaf." meowed Firestar. The GBS's were down at Sunnyrocks, while Spottedleaf and Firestar were up above the cliff where they couldn't be heard from them, but they could hear them. "You weren't joking when you said it boasted their moods up." replied Spottedleaf as she looked down at them. "Graypaw isn't wrong. Silverpelt is shining brighter than ever." Firestar nodded as meowed, "I could sense them watching the three apprentices." Spottedleaf nodded in agreement as they were watching them from above. "I think she's it." replied Spottedleaf as she look down at them. "I can't find a reason why it isn't." meowed Firestar following Spottedleaf's gaze. "I couldn't forget that day, Firestar." mewed softely as Spottedleaf looked up at Silverpelt. "Me either, it was important for many reasons." replied Firestar. Their minds went back into a flashback a moon before Starpaw arrived at ThunderClan and became an apprentice.
