The three friends woke up and came up to Rednose and Bluepaw with the travel herbs in their mouth. "Have a safe journey, my friends." meowed Rednose. Firestar looked at Rednose and nodded while he replied, "We will, just as you will keep the clan safe. I trust you my deputy." Firestar walked away as Rednose walked closer to the three friends. "Remeber you three are almost warriors. Don't forget what I told you. Listen to Firestar and Ravenclaw, they have made this journey before while you three haven't." meowed Rednose. Graypaw nodded in determination, Starpaw meowed, "Yes, Rednose!", and Bluepaw meowed, "See you soon!" The three friends went over to Firestar and Ravenclaw. "Eat up your herbs now." meowed Firestar. The 5 cats ate the travel herbs and put the leaves in the pile in the middle. "Ew! It's so bitter!" whined Starpaw. "I won't believe anyone who says that herbs are sweet to eat!" retorted Bluepaw. "I know, travel herbs are really bitter. But, let's get a move on." replied Ravenclaw with a edge of his attitude. "Right, let's go." Firestar ordered as he lead the 4 other cats out of the camp enterance. "We will go on this path straight to the Thunderpath and carefully cross it." Starpaw looked at her friends and asked, "But then we're in ShadowClan. Isn't that bad?" Firestar replied with, "Yes, but all cats are allowed to cross territories ONLY if they are traveling to the Moonstone, but since Brokenstar is bending the rules he won't respect it and following it." Bluepaw chuckled when Firestar said that. "You call it 'bending the rules', it's more like'breaking the rules, shredding it up, and ducking it in a river'!" Bluepaw quietly joked. "Yes, quite right." chuckled Firestar. "I'm hungryyy~!" whined Graypaw. "Weren't the herbs that Spottedleaf gave you meant to stop your hunger?" asked Bluepaw. "Uh, it smelt bad so I didn't eat them. I didn't know that, that was what those were for!" replied Graypaw. "I'm sorry you're hungry Graypaw, but we can't stop to hunt now. Especially, now that we are in ShadowClan territory. Then, Ravenclaw sniffed the air and reported, "There is a ShadowClan patrol nearby." Firestar nodded and meowed, "Yes, correct. However, they are upwind. If we keep going they won't know we're here." The cats followed Firestar as she discussed more about where they were going. "If we keep going we will make it to the edge of the WindClan territory. Then, we will make our way up and closer to Mothermouth. As the cats came up near a Twoleg nest, Firestar meowed, "Come on, we'll get there by nightfall as long as we keep up the pace." BARK! BARK! Once Starpaw heard the dogs barking she jumped back and yowled, "DOGS!" Ravenclaw rolled his eyes as he hissed, "Don't worry, they're tied up. As they always are when we past by. They are no threat to us." The cats made it to the next Thunderpath, which Starpaw was wanted to know more about. "Is that another Thunderpath?" asked Starpaw. "Mhm. It runs through ShadowClan territory. Can you see the Moonstone from here?" replied Graypaw. "D-Do we have to cross it?" whimpered Starpaw. "Mhm. We sure do!" meowed Bluepaw. Ravenclaw came up to the apprentices as he said, "We will go one at a time. Graypaw, you first." Graypaw gulped as he meowed, "B-But Ravenclaw!" Before anymore was said, Firestar inturupted them. "No, Ravenclaw. I'll go first. Don't forget it will be the first time crossing for these apprentices. Let them see how it is done." Firestar looked closely at the Thunderpath. As monsters past by, hawks flew by, Firestar made sure the timing was perfect. Then, he ran going after the monster past, he dodged the hawk by rolling towards it, but went under the hawk and got back on his feet. He then made it on the other side. "Off you go, Graypaw. Now you seen, how's it done." hissed Ravenclaw. "Uhhh." mewed Graypaw as he obviously didn't want to die at his age. "Now!" growled Ravenclaw. Graypaw got spooked and just ran across the Thunderpath screaming. Luckly, StarClan made sure that he didn't die since he was closing his eyes not even looking where he was going. "Welp, it was nice knowing you, Starpaw." Bluepaw meowed as if she was sacrificing herself. Instead of how Graypaw did it, Bluepaw correctly dodged everything just like Firestar did and crossed safely. Ravenclaw stared at Starpaw telling her it was her turn. Starpaw checked both side and crossed the Thunderpath. As she was crossing she dodged a hawk at the beginning. Then, she dodged the second hawk. Unfortually, when she was dodged the hawks, she didn't notice that a monster was coming. When Starpaw saw the monster many cat-lengths away, instead of running she froze in shock of how much faster this monster was going. "Run, you mouse-brain!" yowled Ravenclaw, but Starpaw couldn't move she was too shocked and scared too. Luckly for her, Ravenclaw noticed that she wouldn't move so he ran and sank his teeth in her scuff carrying her safely across the Thunderpath. "T-T-thank you, Ravenclaw." Starpaw stummered as she was still shocked how fast the monster was going. "Your welcome. Jeez, and I thought Twolegs couldn't be more ruthless!" growled Ravenclaw. "Woah, I thought you were fresh-kill there." meowed Bluepaw as if she was in Starpaw's postion. "Do you want to take a rest before we go on?" asked Firestar. "N-no. I'm fine." replied Starpaw. Firestar nodded and flicked his tail in a follow while he trotted away. The 6 cats have reached it. Mothermouth. "This is Mothermouth. We shall rest while the sun gets higher. Hunt if your hungry." meowed Firestar. "Come on, Graypaw! You said you were hungry." called Bluepaw. "Uh- coming!" replied Graypaw as he followed Starpaw and Bluepaw into the forest to hunt. Later the night, after every cat rested and ate a bit of fresh kill. It was time to enter Mothermouth. "It's time." called out Firestar. "How will we find our way in such darkness?" asked Ravenclaw. "I know the way, just follow my scent. Graypaw and Bluepaw you will remain on guard outside." ordered Firestar. "Yes, Firestar." replied Graypaw. "Starpaw you will accomany me and Ravenclaw in the Moonstone." Starpaw nodded her head and replied, "Alright." Firestar nodded with every cat and meowed, "Let's enter now. Stay close."
