"I need to leave," she glared at him before getting up from her seat. Aaron leaned back to the chair, dabbing his mouth softly, "I'll drop you," he said.
"No need," she replied, taking her bag to leave.
"I said I'll drop you. I never asked your consent," Aaron voiced, authoritatively getting up from his seat.
"Why are you doing this, Aaron?" she asked him with a frown.
"What did I do?" he shrugged as if he was not aware of the question she posed on him.
"What do you want to prove by doing these things?" She asked him.
"Huh! Is it wrong to drop my wife and have breakfast with her?" he scoffed, cuffing his sleeves.
"There's something else in your mind, Aaron. I know you, and I want you to give me the answers," Elizabeth said.
"Looks like my wife knows me very well," Aaron smirked.
"You…"
"You don't want to be late to work, do you?" he asked her before she tried to raise another question.
Aaron looked to his right side for the servant, who stood a little far from the dining table. The servant helped him to wear him the suit before the driver came to hand over the car keys.
"What if I don't come with you," Aaron, who was walking to the door, heard her daring reply. He stopped walking further and turned to see her.
"Don't forget that your company is in my hands now. Your foster father's position will be safe as long as you listen to my words," he stated.
Elizabeth's grip on her handbag was tightened, listening to his words. She didn't like the way he was using her foster father's name to make her look to him. Elizabeth knew that the reason for her company's loss was because him. She thought it was because of the rivalry between him and the CEO of Winscet group of industries. John Carter and Liam's father Steve Winscet have been partners right after John took over her father's new company. Shutting down a company which supports the Winscet's would make Aaron win over Steve Winscet. But he offered to help her company on one condition, and the term was that the eldest daughter of the Carter's should marry him. At first, she thought that he still loved her. But the moment she saw the news about how the daughter of the Carter's who was supposed to marry the heir of Winscet's ended up marrying Aaron Winchester for money was when she came to a conclusion about Aaron's evil plan. A young man like him, turning Winscet's most reliable support to his side and marrying his supposed to be daughter in law would not only make Aaron win over Steve Winscet but also would hurt the man's pride.
"You can stare at me in the car, too," he said, heading towards the doors.
None of them uttered a word while they were in the car. Aaron stopped his car in front of her company. After Elizabeth alighted from the car, he heard someone calling her name. He scoffed when he saw a man approaching her through the mirror.
"Elza, why weren't you taking my calls" Aaron heard a man calling his wife.
"I was having my breakfast," She replied and looked at her husband, who was hearing their conversation sitting in the car.
There was no need for Liam to see who was in the car. He clearly understood that it was Aaron Winchester.
Roseline alighted from her car and entered through the school gates. She was heading to her classroom, but her eyes were searching for someone. It has been her routine to check on Ryan every day, since two weeks. She did not understand why she was being pulled towards him. His words were always running on her mind. He made her feel that she was unique to him, and that made her happy. They have been studying in the same class all these years, but rarely spoke to each other. It was after entering to twelfth standard, they started to talk more when compared to the conversations they had in the past. At first, they had cold conversations, but things changed after their school annual day. Roseline was not sure what made Ryan call her or talk to her, at first she didn't like it, but as days passed she started to think about him and missed him if he was not around.
"Are you looking for me?" Roseline heard Ryan's voice. The moment she heard his voice, her eyes were closed, and her heart skipped a beat. He stood behind her at close distance. The closeness between them made her blush. She was not used to being so close to a guy.
"No, I wasn't," She denied.
"But I was looking for you," he answered, standing in front of her and noticed her hidden smile.
"I'm going to class," came an answer from Roseline. Ryan watched Roseline walk briskly towards the classroom. He followed her from a certain distance to see her face clearly, which had already turned red. There was a kind of amusement in his heart, which made him want to see her more and more.
As Roseline entered into the class, she saw Sarah and Claire waving at her. The two girls are her best friends since they were in the sixth standard. She took a seat beside Sarah. Claire, who was sitting in front, turned back when Roseline was adjusting her position.
"Why is your face red?" Claire asked her.
"Mine?!" Roseline ran tips of her fingers on her cheeks and looked at Ryan, who was talking to his friends. Sarah snapped her fingers at Roseline.
"What are you dreaming about? Are you fine?" she asked her.
"Yes, I am fine," replied Roseline and looked at Ryan, who was already staring at her. She immediately looked away to avoid his gaze. There was a change in Sarah's face when she noticed Roseline looking at Ryan.
