Liam approached the car and bent a little to talk to Aaron who was seated in the car. The man was handsome but not when compared to Aaron. Anybody could tell that this man is decent and honest after talking to him.
"Congratulations. I'm happy for you," he said to Aaron.
" Are those words for real? " Aaron let out a chuckle.
Liam cocked his head to a side and then looked at him before he answered Aaron's question.
"Even If I told the truth would you believe me?"
Liam answered with a question and heard Aaron's swift reply, " I won't."
Liam smiled to Aaron's instant reply before he could continue the conversation he felt Elizabeth's hand on him.
"Shall we leave? " she asked him in a low voice. Aaron saw the way Elizabeth held Liam's sleeves and spoke to him. Liam nodded a little at her in agreement and stepped back.
"We have to leave. See you next time," Liam said to Aaron.
"I hope we don't," came a rude answer from Aaron which was expected from a person like him. Aaron hit the accelerator and disappeared in no time.
"I'm sorry I couldn't take the call because he was with me and..."
"You don't have to be sorry," Liam interrupted her to calm her down. As they were walking, Elizabeth smiled at him and asked, "By the way, why were you calling me?"
Elizabeth saw Liam smiling at her when he turned to face her. Before he could answer her question, he received a phone call. Liam took his phone from his pocket. Elizabeth saw Liam's narrowed eyes when he was looking at his phone.
" I'll see you in the evening," he said and sounded to be in a hurry.
"Okay," Elizabeth nodded her head and waved at him while he was leaving.
"So you mean your sister married Ryan Haye's cousin which makes Ryan and you are relatives?" Claire asked in shock to Roseline to confirm.
"Yes we are relatives now," Roseline answered.
"And you didn't know that Ryan is your brother in law's cousin before the wedding?" Clarie enquired.
"I had no idea that Ryan is Aaron's cousin until I saw him at the altar," Roseline replied.
"Are you talking about Aaron Winchester?" Claire asked Roseline in surprise to see her nod.
"Oh God! How come you not know that Aaron Winchester and Ryan Hayes are cousins," Claire said cupping her face.
"I swear, I didn't even know who Aaron Winchester was until a week ago," Roseline replied in a low voice when she saw few girls passing them while they were coming out of the washroom.
"You seriously need to start watching the news about the business world too, Roseline," Claire said.
"I'm interested in something else," Roseline replied.
"It would be nice of you, if you name what interests you," the girls heard Ryan's voice from behind.
"Jesus Christ! You scared me, Ryan," Claire said.
"I didn't know that you have a habit of eavesdropping other's conversation too, Ryan Hayes, " Roseline said.
"I'm least bothered about others but how can I ignore when you were talking about your interests," he said to see her look away to hide her smile and scoff softly.
"Ryan!" he heard his friends call him. Ryan turned back and looked at the girls who stood in front of him. Roseline noticed him pause for a few seconds before he decided to leave, she could see his dilemma to stay and continue the conversation with her or to leave the conversation as his friends were waiting for him. He brushed his with one of his hands before talking to Roseline.
"Wait for me at the front gate," he said before leaving with his friends.
Roseline stood still and looked at him until she could see him.
"Ahem... Ahem!! So what's cooking between you and him," Claire teased Roseline while they were heading to their class.
"Who is that him, you are referring to?" Sarah asked Claire.
"Ryan Hayes," Claire said with a giggle. Roseline and Claire didn't notice Sarah's frown changing into a smile until she heard Roseline's reply.
"You're thinking too much. There's no way I'm going to fall for him," Roseline gave a dry laugh.
"I'm glad that you're not among the girls who like Ryan," Sarah's face was lightened up to Roseline's answer. The girl went back to their classes after lunch hour.
After the last bell rang. The students rushed out of the classrooms with their bags which they packed even before they heard the last bell of the day.
Roseline sent back her driver saying that she would be going to her friend's house and waited for Ryan after her friends left.
"Didn't expect that you'd wait for me," She heard Ryan's voice from behind.
"Come to the point," she said.
