The door was opened by Aaron for Elizabeth to enter into the room. The room was pitch dark until the lights were switched on by Aaron. The room was scented with flowers which gave a pleasant feeling. Elizabeth looked around and noticed that the color of the walls and the bed cover were in blue. Even the curtains were in blue with a combination of white. Elizabeth fell into a trance.
"After our marriage, we'll live in a beautiful house and our bedroom will be painted with your favorite blue colour," it was the voice of a guy from her memories. The girl blushed to listen to his words.
"And what about our marriage?" she asked him in a tone of a little kid.
"I would wait for you at the altar and look at you without blinking my eyes. You would be the most beautiful bride on that day wearing a white gown and..." the guy slid his hand into his pocket and took out a box. " With this pendant," he completed his sentence showing her a diamond pendant which he specially made it design for her.
" It's a diamond pendant! " she exclaimed.
"I want you to keep it with you and wear it on the day of our wedding, Lizzy," he said. Every word he told made her heart flutter. He was the only person who called her Lizzy. He often made fun of her calling her 'Lizzy the Lizard' to tease her, as the days passed she got used to the name and she liked being called Lizzy by him.
"I will," she replied looking at him with her eyes filled with tears of joy.
"Turn around," he said to wear her the chain.
"I love it," she said running her thumb on the diamond pendant.
"I'm glad that you like it," the guy replied.
She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the sound of running water in the washroom. She looked around for her luggage but she found nowhere. She wanted to ask Aaron but he left to take a bath without a word.
"Madam, you're dresses are in the wardrobe," said the maid who just entered into the room after knocking the door informed her.
" Oh, okay," Elizabeth replied.
" What do you want to have for dinner Madam, "the maid asked her.
" I don't want to have anything tonight, thank you, "replied Elizabeth.
The maid bowed ready to leave.
" Could you bring me my purse, I left it in the car, "Elizabeth requested her.
The maid gave a smile and went to get her purse. After the maid handed over the purse to Elizabeth, she took out her phone and saw the messages she received. The messages were of the People from her office congratulating her. As she scrolled down, she saw Roseline's message.

Elizabeth who read the message smiled.
< I miss you too Rosie >
Elizabeth replied to her sister's message.
Came an Instant reply from her sister.
Elizabeth smiled a little more and replied.
She put her phone aside when she heard the sound of the bathroom door open with a creak.
She saw him coming out of the bathroom. His wet hair fell on his forehead while he was drying his hair with a towel. She paused for seconds looking his handsome face.
"You're making me embarrass by staring at me," he said in nonchalance as if her stare didn't affect him. Elizabeth immediately looked away and got up from the bed to take her clothes from the wardrobe. He went out of the room for her to change her clothes. After taking a shower, she came out of the bathroom and saw Aaron sitting on the bed. Her hair covered her neck and she tried to ignore him and crawl onto the bed but he stopped her by holding her wrist.
"Sit here," he ordered her to sit beside her.
She didn't know why he asked her to sit beside her but she obeyed and sat beside him.
Her breathing became heavy when he pushed her hair gently that covered her neck. He saw her neck turn red.
He took a bottle of lotion which he kept beside him for her. He took the lotion in his hand a little to apply it on her neck. He applied the lotion on her neck where the redness appeared on her skin and blew air as he applied it. Her heart became heavy when she felt him blew air on her neck. Aaron looked at her and saw that she was already looking at him, he paused for few seconds staring at her and distanced himself from her, "Why would you wear that chain when you know that you are allergic to platinum," he said to break the silence between them.
" I promised someone that I would wear it on my wedding day," she answered.
Aaron paused for a second and one side of his lips twisted upwards," Promises are made to break them," he said while rubbing her neck gently with lotion.
"I don't want you to apply this lotion for me, I'm fine " Elizabeth replied curtly.
"It'll itch your neck more if you don't apply the lotion," he said out of concern.
"The rashes will disappear by morning. I'm used to it," she replied stubbornly.
"Stop behaving like a kid Lizzy," Aaron blurted.
Her heart cringed while in pain when he took her name. It has been ages since she heard that name. Aaron sighed and looked away before getting up from the bed. "Apply the lotion," he said before leaving the room.
