There were birds singing in the trees and it was a rather pleasant day out, it reminded Gordan of something that he had seen out of a story book in the past. It wasn't as calming as the world he had been to before but it was still rather nice.
Being careful not to step on the plants around his feet he walked toward the cottage to see what was going on in this place, or more he felt like he was being drawn to the cottage he assumed that it was a similar object to the lantern and had a drawing effect to pinpoint the location where the owner of the dream was. It was only a theory at this point but he would find out in time whether he wanted to or not apparently.
As he approached the front of the cottage he noticed that there was a table with two seats, one pulled out and the other was occupied. Gordan got closer in order to get a better look and saw that the person was hunched over and in a state of what Gordan could only call mental exhaustion.
=Ahem=
Gordan made a sound to alert the figure of his presence which made the individual jump out of his seat in surprise. He looked at Gordan with eyes filled with confusion.
"Who are you? How did you get into this place? Are you another helusenation?"
Gordan wondered who this person was that was so confused about what was going on. It had occurred to Gordan that staying in a place where things came into being just by being thought of might have the potential to eventually drive one insane, but he had assumed that something of that type would have to happen over a rather long amount of time.
=Sigh=
"I'm not a helusenation, but that's not really to convincing since a helusenation most likely wouldn't tell you that it was a helusenation.
Anyway does it really matter?"
The turned his head alittle and then shook his head.
"I guess that it wouldn't really matter if you were a helusenation or not."
Gordan held out his hand to the person in front of him.
"Well then, nice to meet you I'm Gordan, it's a pleasure to make your aquantince."
Even though his face stayed completely still the person didn't seem to be bothered by it and almost seemed relieved.
"Its nice to meet another person in this place, it's a pleasure to meet you as well. My name is Jean.
How long have you been here if I might ask?"
Gordan shook his head slightly, to calm down the man's worries.
"I don't mind at all, though I actually just got here myself. Sorry if it's a disappointment but I really don't know much about exactly is going on do you?"
Even though the person didn't seem to be hostile Gordan knew better than to reveal all the information that he had, instead he could use his fiend ignorance to gain more potential information, and at this point in time information was something that could be quite useful to him.
Jean looked alittle puzzled at Gordan, almost wondering what could have happened. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but then closed it again, seeming to return back into his thoughts. He hadn't had a proper conversation with anyone in what seemed like years so he didnt really remember how to be delicate in his presentation.
"What is the last thing that you remember before showing up hear?"
It was a feed air enough question for someone to ask, so Gordan gave the simplest answer that described his situation.
"A fell asleep, and when I opened my eyes I was here."
Jean looked sadly at Gordan as though pitying him and then quickly changed his face so that Gordan wouldn't think that he was trying to be rude with his actions.
He suddenly realised that the two of them were still standing and became even more frustrated.
"Come let's sit down and talk, you must be quite confused, I can tell you everything that I know about this situation."
He motioned for Gordan to sit in the chair across from him, and then took the seat opposite from him.
Gordan saw that the person seemed to be uncomfortable, and from the way that he was speaking he hadn't dealt with another human in quite some time, he smiled slightly but Jean thankfully didn't notic. He was getting quite annoyed at not being able to express certain emotions without messing up the surrounding people. Thankfully he didnt seem effected even though he had not seen it, Gordan had to wonder if being in a dream had anything to do with the peculiarity of that.
Jean looked up at Gordan whose face was as sullen as ever and rather wondered if he was unable to express emotions or if he just wasn't really emotional. Gordan saw his look and let out a sigh.
"If your wondering about my face, I try not to express emotion that much since it doesn't tend to go over well."
Jean became even more flustered since he hadn't ment to make Gordan uncomfortable, but he was also rather interested in why things didnt go over well with something like expressing emotion.
Though Jean had said that he wanted to discuss the situation that they were both in Gordan could tell that what he really wanted to do was just talk to another person. And while he did want information, he had no idea how long this person had been here alone, he could spare a bit of time to talk to him about nothing in particular, after all he wasn't completely heartless.
"I can see that you are curious so I can show you if you like but, just remember I did warn you."
Jean was rather excited an didn't know why, he instinctively nodded his head and the regretted doing so emidiatly.
Gordan let a small grin cross his face and jean fell to the ground unconscious.
=Sigh=
"Well there goes that theory."
Gordan stopped smiling and got out of his seat to see how Jean was doing, thankfully he had fallen onto the grass and hadn't injured himself at all. Gordan crouched over him and gently patted his cheeks to help revive him, but he wasn't responding, so an idea popped into his head.
Gordan snapped his fingers and a stream of water began to pose down onto Jean's face waking him up instantly, Gordan snapped his fingers again and the stream disappeared. It hadn't worked out as well as he had wanted it to since he had only intended to have a small amount of water fall but hadn't been able to fully control it. He was however quite happy that the thing that he had seen Zero do was possible, so that made the whole excursion itself useful.
Jean looked up at Gordan in utter astonishment, wondering where the water could have possibly come from. He almost asked but then he remembered the reason why he had collapsed and decided against questioning his actions or abilities. He had remembered the gravity of the fact that he knew nothing about Gordan other than his name, he had been so shocked by the emergence of another person that he had forgotten to be wary of others, after all his trust was the thing that had left him stranded here in the first place.
