Sky's POV
Who would have thought that I and Hillary are now celebrating our 6th year anniversary! For the whole six years, we also experienced ups and downs, but we never leave each other, instead, we remained stronger as one until now.
I'm currently at Fiona's Garden, waiting for Hillary to come. Gusto ko sana siyang sunduin, but she told me not to. Hindi ko alam kung bakit, kaya nauna na ako rito.
I chose this place kasi nakakarefresh, the ambiance, sceneries, everything, ang gandang tingnan. Napapalibutan ng naggagandahang bulaklak at minsan ay napapadapo pa sa'kin ang mga paru-paro. This is the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and besides, we really need a refreshment lalo na't nasa Med School na kami at dalawang buwan na lang ay gagraduate na kami. We're nearer to reach our dream of becoming a Doctor! Konti na lang talaga. After Med School, we'll proceed on 3 or more years of training, then we'll take the Philippine Physician Licensure Examination, also called the Philippine Medical Boards at ipapasa talaga namin 'yan!
After an hour, finally, Mi Stella is here! She's in her royale blue dress, I brought it last week when we're in shopping. It really suits her well.
Diretso lang ang tingin ko sa kaniya habang papalapit siya sa'kin. I smiled at her. Why do I always experienced this slow emotion every time I am looking at Hillary? I really am so in love, man!
I stood up when she's nearer. Inalalayan ko siyang umupo, "thank you, Mi Cielo," she said as she gave me a sweet smile. Bumalik na rin ako sa upuan ko at muling napatitig sa kaniya. Mi Stella changes every day, she gets more gorgeous.
And, she started calling me Mi Cielo after a week that we officially became a couple. Mi Cielo is an endearment for Spanish which means 'My Sky' at nabasa niya raw 'yan when she studied Spanish Language no'ng nagpunta kaming Madrid. And since she's calling me by that, I'd decided to call her Mi Stella, it means My Star, my drop-dead gorgeous star.
We're in the middle of savoring our food when I asked her kung bakit ayaw niyang sunduin ko siya, then she answers, "no'ng sinabi mo kasing andito ka na, eh kakagising ko pa lang. Ang tagal ko kayang nakatulog kagabi."
Natawa ako bahagya. "Ikaw kasi, I've been telling you to end the call, pero lagi kang umaayaw kaya umabot tayo ng 4 AM. We no longer will do it, Mi Stella, hindi 'yon maganda sa kalusugan natin," saad ko at sunod-sunod lang ang pagtango niya.
Nang matapos kaming kumain ay ibinigay ko na sa kaniya ang paborito niyang red roses. Sobrang laki talaga ng resemblance nila ni Veia, ang dami nilang pagkakapareho. I am really wondering kung kamusta na si Veia ngayon at kung asan na siya. Well, I still consider her as my friend and I hope she's fine and healthy.
"Sky," I was back to myself when Hillary uttered my name.
"Yes, Mi Stella?" tanong ko naman.
"Will you just continue to hold the rope?"
"No," I replied, then I started pushing the swing lightly. Ito rin 'yong isa sa atraksyon nila rito sa Fiona's Garden, they got a forest-like area na may duyan kahit saan. There were swings for lovers, a larger one for friends and a single swing, of course, if you're single or you went here alone. "Mi Stella," I called her.
"Hmm?"
Tsk. Paano ko ba 'to sasabihin? Kinakabahan ako. We never did talk about this kaya hindi ako sure kung papayag siya.
"Hoy, ano ba 'yon, Mi Cielo?" she asked as she turned her head to look at me.
I took a deep breath, then I managed myself to speak, "have you ever think of commitment?" pakiramdam ko mas mabilis pa ako kay Flash nang itanong 'yon.
Hillary gestured me to stop pushing the swing. She stood up and looks at me, "I'm committed now, Sky," she replied.
I looked at somewhere else, "I know, but I mean..." I paused and she gives me this you-mean-what look.
"Tell her now, Sky!" Dad suddenly said. Nagsitayuan na rin 'yong iba na kanina pa nagduduyan-duyan. Tsk!
"What the hell is going on, Mi Cielo? Why are my parents here? My Kuya? My best friends? Your parents?" sunod-sunod niya talagang tanong.
"They're supposed to go out when I finally hear your answer, Mi Stella," sagot ko naman habang kamot-kamot ang sentido ko, pero mas lalo lang siyang nagtaka. "Okay. Listen, Hillary, you're now 28 and I'm 26, we're no longer getting younger and I always want to be with you as you grow older," I kneeled down and I saw a smile from all these people who've been the witnesses of how our real story started. Mi Stella is now teary-eyed, I guess she's starting to understand what's happening. "Mi Stella, Hillary Aieou Gomez," I uttered her name with a smile on my lips as I am holding her hand at pareho pala kaming nanlalamig!
"Mi Ceilo," the words she said as she's holding her tears, "bilisan mo na at baka mapano 'yang tuhod mo," saad pa niya dahilan para matawa na lang kami.
"Alright," I took a deep breath, then I manage myself to smile, "will you be my Mrs. Abellera? Will you marry me?" tanong ko habang sobrang lakas pa rin ng kaba sa puso ko.
"Aayaw pa ba ako?" she answered as her tears started falling. "Of course, yes, Mi Cielo, I'll marry you," napatayo ako agad at niyakap siya. Iyong kaba sa puso ko kanina napalitan na ng saya! Naririnig ko pa rin 'yong palakpakan nila at miski hindi namin kilala ay nikasaya na rin. "I love you, Sky," bulong niya.
"I love you, too, Hillary," bulong ko pabalik. "Thank you, God, for blessing me this much," dagdag ko pa habang yakap-yakap pa rin siya. Since the first day that I told her my feelings, I am already certain that she's the woman I'll be with when I am finally facing the altar to say I do.

Hillary's POV
Two weeks after Sky's proposal, here comes the Engagement party. It is being celebrated here in our place and my Mama and Papa are the hosts. The wedding isn't settled yet. Siguro after na ng graduation kasi by that I'm sure na kaya na 'kong buhayin ni Sky, he can have his own salary when we're finally in our training time.
Clarkson, Andrei, and Driana are so happy knowing about this. They've been imagining that this will happen kaya ang saya-saya nila nang malamang nagkatotoo na. Clarkson is now in a relationship with Bubbly for 4 years already, nanligaw siya ng dalawang taon, ang husay, matiyaga! Driana's still hoping for Andrei's love, but Andrei is no longer into me. Naka move-on na siya 5 years ago, but he really can't love Driana. Tsk! So blind!
We're now playing the Nearly-Wed Game kung saan malalaman ng lahat kung gaano namin kakilala ang isa't isa. After the mini dry erase board was given to us, Mama started asking a question. "Kailan naging kayo?" usually, 'yan talaga ang unang tanong, eh.
After 10 seconds, sabay naming itinaas ni Sky ang board at syempre pareho kaming tama. August 15, 2021, 9:15 PM, 'yan 'yong eksaktong araw at oras na sinagot ko si Sky.
"Another one, ito dapat si Hillary ang sasagot, but syempre isusulat pa rin ni Sky para malaman kung tama siya. Sino ang first kiss ni Sky?" tanong ulit ni Mama.
Kumunot ang noo ni Sky at sinabing, "really? Pwedeng next question na lang?"
"Tss. Bakit Mi Cielo? Natatakot ka bang malaman nila kung sino?" tanong ko naman, pero agad siyang umiling. "Edi, isulat mo na 'yong pangalan ko," mas lalong kumunot 'yong noo niya at naghiyawan naman sila, "I'm confident, I'm your first kiss, Sky. I kissed you when you got drunk at my place," nagulat sina Mama at Papa, pati na rin si Kuya sa narinig nila. Well, it's done, it can never be undone.
"Wow, Mi Stella!" Sky exclaimed. "Pinagsamantalahan mo pala ako no'n, ha?" panunukso niya naman, pero ngumiti lang ako. "Then, I'll write your name—"
Napatigil si Sky nang may 'di inaasahang bisita ang biglang dumating. "I thought it was me," she's smiling as she said those words. Kung hindi lang siya nagsalita ay hindi talaga nila makilala ang babaeng 'to, excluding me, my parents, and Kuya Zeus.
Veia is back, but she's no longer the Veia they used to know. Trust me. She became a bad-as*, B*tch!
