On the island of the Sea Phantom clan, the headmaster was banging his head as he put monster cores into energy nodes to maintain the excess energy costs of the formation. People were hanging in fear but continued their daily lives in the darkness.
I was sitting on the sea floor with a dock that connected to the city wall and island above my head. Consolidating my blood essence was of the importance, because I had just gained all of it recently.
Several Days Later...
I awoke from my deep cultivation, but the consolidation efforts were barely satisfactory, but at least I won't suffer any backlashes when fighting. Letting lose my divine sense, I noticed a person was knocking on my scaly outside.
When I saw then, I was slightly surprised. The person was the oldest female on the ship. She had a shield protecting her from the water.
Lifting up my body slightly, I sucked her into my mouth before she appeared in my stomach. Clearing out the water, my stomach became clean except for the piles of meat that were wrapped in devour energy and floating mid-air.
I got a good glimpse of her, and couldn't help but once again be stunned by the oldest female's looks. Although she's certainly doesn't have the best body proportions, she's probably very attractive compared to when we were surviving. Her breast size is certainly worth noting as well.
But right now, she had a veil on her face and was wearing an ice-blue dress, which covers most of her skin. The only thing really nice was the cleavage which could make a male gulp and lose focus. It's quite a nice timing that my body happens to be female, or my response would be way more horrible. The dress and veil is just saying a beauty is underneath.
But I couldn't help but look at her in surprise. I detected an ice-cold aura being emitted from her and the air temperature around her seemed to drop a lot. It's like a female who has a yin body in a cultivation novel. Letting full release of my divine sense, I realized she had an unknown cold energy in her body.
Looking at her bones, I couldn't help but gasp in shock. All of them were replaced with bluish bones that are crystallized. I knew they were laws so I gasped in shock. I had enough common sense to guess what they are.
"You, you have ice laws?" I asked in shock.
"Sorry for concealing it," she said, taking out an unknown talisman, "This is an upper-grade heavenly concealing talisman." It's not wonder her looks and body looked so normal.
"So, Ice Emperor, you can't possibly be a member of this clan," I said, making up the name for her.
She removed her veil, and my I nearly lost my self-control. This women is more beautiful than that sea tribe women that I found during the flood dragon fight. Maybe even those large clans would be fighting wars over her! The funny thing is that my body is female, yet I nearly lost my self-control. Surely I would've attacked her if I was male, right?
But she couldn't detect my looks, as she was in my stomach. But she had a weird expression on her face at the name I gave her.
"Yes, you're right. I was originally a core disciple of the Ancient Clan, Extreme Yin Empire."
"Extreme Yin Empire?! Ancient Clan?!" I could help but shout in my head in terror.
Those guys are apparently more horrifying than the strongest public known clan. Yet this region is very poor with little attention regarding it. It's apparently like the distance between earth and heaven between them. Yet a core disciple of an Ancient Clan is out here. If news were to spread out, surely a war would break out.
I'm glad I didn't do anything stupid to her. Offending a core disciple of an Ancient Clan would make me wanna bang my head against the wall. They could easily capture and stew fry me if they felt like it. No clan would wanna keep such a person and even the other Ancient Clans wouldn't take you. Maybe the only place to escape would be death. Until I become powerful enough, making an enemy out of them is to be avoided at all costs.
"S-so. What is a core disciple of the Extreme Yin Empire doing out here in such a desolate place?" I asked, resisting the urge to spit her out and keep my distance. If those in the Extreme Yin Empire and the public clans were to see a core disciple of an Ancient Clan conversing while inside my stomach, I'd be skinned alive.
"Do you detect any Saint Qi or Qi in my body?" she asked. I really don't wanna send my divine sense through her again, but decided to since she asked.
To my shock, there is no Saint Qi or Qi running through her body at all. In fact, it's just ice energies. Upon closer look, I realized that her cultivation had been lost! Her dantian is fine, but it seems a major meridian in her body was completely shattered, losing all her cultivation efforts. But now it's being held back in place by ice energies which have frozen it in place. Now she's cultivating ice energies instead which is her main cultivation. And surprisingly, it's at the peak of xiantian realm.
"You. What happened?" I asked, genuinely intrigued.
"I was destined to become the next heir of the Extreme Yin Empire, and had all the supporters. The procedure was to receive the full inheritance of the Extreme Yin Empire, which is the full set of ice laws, before being passed the title."
"As I was going to receive the title the next day, a group of assassins attacked me at my place. My supporters and friends, did not appear to help. The headmaster did not notice. I managed to flee but lost my cultivation in an attack. Using the only talisman on me that was't traceable, the concealing talisman, I managed to travel billions of miles in hardship before hiding secretly here at this clan."
"A conspiracy was born that I escaped with the laws for greed, so a capture order was sent out for me. But all these years, I have been secretly recovering, in hopes to get my revenge," she said as her eyes and voice turned cold, with hatred deep within them. She must've had a harsh time.
"But why are you telling me all this?" I asked, confused.
"I can trust you. You're not familiar meaning you're from an entirely different place. I don't have to worry about you being greedy, because you have devour laws," she said.
"WHAT?!" I shouted; killing intent surged into my body. Nobody has ever known about my devour laws, yet she casually mentioned them! How does she know?!
"I'm not an idiot. The characteristics of a person with devour laws are all that you have. Otherwise, how can you advance so fast in your cultivation? Not too long ago, you were in major meridian unblocking. Do you know how rough and long it takes for even talented people to get through? Even with the greatest talent, it can take 20 to 50 years to break through a realm. The only set of laws that can overcome talent are devour laws. I'm a knowledgeable person on the legendary devour laws." she said casually, without batting an eye.
My killing intent dropped somewhat, but I was still filled with wariness towards her.
"Go on," I demanded.
"I can see you have the full set of laws. As the person with the highest chance of surpassing the Saint realm, isn't it natural that I'll take note of you?" she giggled.
"I do know that I can probably surpass the saint realm if nothing goes wrong. But that wouldn't be enough reason to hang out with a creature like me. I can tell that you're the type of person who doesn't bat an eye towards those with higher cultivation. You're probably someone who is willing to do anything to achieve her means, even if it's disgusting or tarnishing to your pride," I said indifferently.
"Oh? How can you tell?" she asked, with an eyebrow slightly raised.
"There's no way in hell you can get all the way here, traveling billions of miles, without getting caught by the Ancient Clan or lustful men. Surely, you've abandoned your pride and stooped to disgusting levels for you to even get here," I said, secretly calculating.
"You're smarter than you look," she said as she stopped giggling; her face turned cold and sinister. Yet it did not turn ugly, but more beautiful to me. I couldn't help but look at her differently.
"I've endured countless disgusting men who played with my body! Every one of made me sick. They even put me in the bottom of slave ships with others. But I endured, for the sake of survival and to achieve my goal of revenge!" she spat out every word. Her aura turned savage and barbarian.
"But I have something you want, right?" I asked, curious about this woman. No, curious can't describe this. No, she's very interesting! To the point that I feel that this women would be a great partner!
"Only when someone surpasses the saint realm that their soul transforms and can leave the body to escape. Their vitality is enough that they can repair the meridians of their body and survive even if their heart or neck is cut off. The cultivation realm surpassing the Saint Realm is the Divine Realm. If someone drinks their blood, it can heal any injuries in their body, meridians included. You can guess what I'm getting at," she said as her aura and face returned to normal.
I was stunned by the new information, but I clearly understood what she was getting.
"So, only when I surpass the Saint realm do you have a chance of repairing your meridian. Isn't there pills that can repair them?" I asked.
"There used to be. But the herbs and medicinal plants required only existed the Ancient Era, due to overabundance of Qi. They've all gone extinct unfortunately," she said shaking her head.
"You've intrigued me Ice Emperor! I'm sold! I'll help you recover your cultivation and you can help me when needed," I said satisfyingly laughing to my heart's content. Such a women will keep my life very thrilling with no boredom! There's no way I can turn down this offer!
"It's a deal. As long as you help with revenge!" she said with a brilliant smile that seemed to contain the sun. I hesitated but gave in.
"Sure, I can help," by the time we do revenge, I should be strong enough.
But I was interrupted with a loud sound that managed to enter the waters. Looking up, I saw a huge meteor the size of an island collide with the formation, causing cracks to form on the formation where it hit. Then it shattered. The formation has shattered!
