When a new VRMMORPG is launched a call is placed for Beta testers under the conditions that the game will only be playable under the difficulty of Hell Mode, whereupon death in game is permanent, and everything is as close to real life as possible.

In contrast the game dev's allow for a player empowering system based of their own preferences. Allowing players to setup limitations for their own characters the greater the limitation the more of a boon to the player.

But is this really just a game or is it possibly something.... more?
