Reign Thornton is in her final year of highschool. Something many would be grateful for but not her. Even though she is a senior she still has not made a single friend in school. Her antisocial and studious personality made it hard for others to get close to her, either that or she's just unlikable by nature.

Everything changes when she is paired with the school's notorious bad boy. Though she fears him, she fears getting a failing grade much more. So without thinking she speaks up to him not showing fear. This intrigues him and he takes a sudden interest in her personality. Wanting to see more sides to her he takes her to different places full of life and teenagers, forcing her to get out of the hard shell she created around herself. 

Though at first forced she begins enjoying herself, seeing that there is more to life than just books. She meets incredible people along the way and learns about herself and true nature. Forgetting about her troubles at home and just how broken she is.

Will she ever learn to trust others and believe in friendship? 

The relationship she has with her new found friends seems different than which she has with Nicholi, but why? Will she ever figure out her feelings of first love or will she continue to identify them as juvenile heart attacks?
