Chereads / Coercion With The Bad Boy / Chapter 4 - Crazy cousins

Chapter 4 - Crazy cousins

School was out, I was tired and ready for a weekend free of work ...or so I'd like to say but life isn't a fairytale.

Coming out of the school double doors I stretched my arms above my head, which was a bad idea as a student walking out of the entry way pushed me.

I somehow ended up covered in a slushie, wasabi sauce and next to a trash can, covered in filth...yeah I'm not surprised. Just to add salt on the wound, some random bird pooped on my jacket as it flew over me.

Oh come on!

"Wow...I've never seen anyone get pushed into someone's slushie, then headbud a guy holding wasabi sauce only to get covered in it, fall on a trash can and get pooped on by a bird, all at the same time."

Chase laughed at my unfortunate situation. How does he keep showing up at the worst times ever?

"I'd say that's a talent"

Commented the very last guy I thought would ever grace me with his presence.

"Nicholi, Chase."

I nodded my head nonchalantly in greetings at the two tall boys, ignoring the burning sensation caused by the wasabi sauce dripping down the side of my face.... between us two, it was too close to the corner of my eye.

"How long are ya gonna stay there for?"

Chase asked as he kept smirking, his eyes shining in mischief.

"Oh you know, just until I can pick up the rest of my dignity. Won't be long now."

I said while picking up invisible pieces of the said dignity.

Chase laughed harder as he offered me a hand. I gladly took it and was hauled off from the ground.

"Thanks,"

I smirked as an evil idea popped into my head.

"Wanna hug?"

I slowly walked towards Chase, arms out ready to embrace him.

"Oh no, no, no! I'm good."

I kept walking toward him, he just kept backing off, his hands held infront of him in order to stop me in my tracks.

"R-Reign, what are you doing? No stop it, Reign I'm serious I- no! Stop! Rei-"

Chase started to run from me and naturally I ran after him. He was about to get away but I wouldn't let that happen.

Speeding up behind him, I jumped his back. The force caused us to fall to the cement ground.

A rough and painful fall for Chase and a soft and cushioned one for me. Courtesy of my sweet cousin.

I rubbed myself against him, spreading the filth onto him...I swear if people saw us they'd think I was dry humping him.

"Ugh! Reign get off you fat pig!"

It was my turn to laugh as I pat down his hair, spreading the dirt on my hands onto his silky, blonde hair.

He turned to his side, flicking me to the side in the process. My laughter just increased ten fold as I saw the look on his face.

"Oh man....you...you should s-see your face!"

I spoke in between laughter.

" You're a douchebag R"

I rolled my eyes at the tall figure.

"Yeah I love you too."

Once again he offered his help, I took it again but this time didn't assault him with my stickiness....which wouldn't be necessary seeing as it was already spread on his back and hair.

He then grabbed my bag pack which was left discarded on the floor. We made our way to a car parked at the very end of the student parking lot.

Chase and I proceeded talking about random things, which included who would look better in a Gandalf getup, who could last longer at breathing in his dad's fart and other stupid mediocre things.

I always felt at ease with my cousin around. He made me feel less of a social outcast. But I guess he could also make that situation worse at times.

Before I knew it, we were parked infront of his house. Unbuckling my seatbelt, I sprinted for the door, Chase following right after.

We always did this whenever I came by his house, for reasons that will soon be revealed.

Swinging the door open, it banged against the wall nearly breaking the handle in the process. We ran into the kitchen and that's when I saw it sitting idly by waiting to be taken.

It was in my line of attack. As I was about to jump right for it, I felt a hand pull me back by the shoulder. The force of the hand added with my own body weight made it difficult to get back my balance.

As soon as I did, I lunged at my cousin. Once again knocking us to the floor.

I sat on his back, legs apart on either side of him, feet firmly placed on the ground. I grabbed him by the neck, his head between the inside of my elbow and chest. I locked the arm holding his head with my other arm.

"Say it, say it. I won't stop until you say it!"

Chase struggled against my hold but he and I both knew as soon as I had him in a ckoke hold, there was no escaping.

"Ugh...uh-ugh....n-never!"

He struggled with his words, the hold made it far more difficult for him to talk, not to mention properly breathe.

I increased the power of my grip, forcing his head further upward, making it more uncomfortable for him as his ribs must have been rubbing against the tiled floor.

"Say. It."

"U-uhh....okay...o-okay...you are th-the best"

"And?"

I questioned as an evil smile slowly grew on my lips. I waited for him to finish his begging

"And I smell li-like pig fart!"

With that, I released him, got up and dusted my hands off against each other.

Looking down at the poor excuse of a man I called a cousin, I placed a foot on his head

"You bet you do!"

I once again gave a evil smirk. With quick steps (cause I learned long ago not to gloat too long), I walked into the kitchen, grabbed my victory price and slowly brought the tasty treat to my lips.

I took a large bite out of it and hummed in appreciation of the sweet, delicate taste of the treat. My eyes were closed as I savoured the heavenly taste.

"Wow, all that for a piece of cake?"

My eyes shot open at the sudden intruding voice. Infront of me, a little away from the still wallowing-in-self-pity Chase, was Nicholi.

Wait when the hell did he get here?

"Where did you come from?"

I asked but the words came out more like; Ver dig Wu com vrum , given that I was still stuffing my face with the delicacy in my hand.

Could you blame me, this cake was a-ma-zing! I swear if you had it you'd not wait to swallow to speak to someone either.

"I've literally been with you guys the entire time. You were just too busy talking about farts and the Hobbit."

I slightly blushed at his words.

How do you tell a guy that you're just a natural idiot without ....you know, coming off as an idiot?

"That's not true."

Again, food still in my mouth, so it just sounded like I was spewing complete crap.

"Yeah, how bout you swallow down your cake first then talk to him huh? I think that's really the smart thing to d-"

Before he could finish his sentence, I threw my shoe at him to shut that big mouth of his.

Returning to my wonderous cake, I stuffed the rest of the tasty treat into my mouth.

Bad idea.

I violently hit my chest repeatedly, trying to get the food down.

Seeing that not work out for me, I ran to the fridge and grabbed the carton of milk, drinking straight from the source.

I felt the stuck food make its way down my oesophagus and into my stomach.

That was too close

Breathing heavily, I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand and placed the carton back into the fridge.

Two sets of eyes gave me weird looks, as if I were some alien from out of space.

".....What?"

Both the boys shook their heads in disapproval, Chase still hanging on the floor. I think he was pretty comfy at this point.

"Is she always this way?"

Nicholi asked my too lazy cousin. He seemed a bit amused if not set off by my unusual actions.

"No,"

Chase looked at me then back at Nicholi with a straight face.

"She's usually far worse"

I gave him the middle finger, grabbed the shoe I previously threw at him and walked to the sitting room.

As I walked away I heard the sound of laughter, one getting closer.

An arm swung over my shoulder as I felt warm air tingle my ear.

"Hey, it's okay couz, I still think you're pretty hot."

I blushed at his words, swat his hand off my shoulder and gave him another hand gesture.

The day passed on with us watching horror films, Chase screaming like a little pussycat and me making fun of him.

"Ah crap, I gotta go. Mom's gonna kill me if I don't get home soon."

"Should I take you?"

"Nah, I'm good. I'll just run real fast, besides I know how lazy you can get as soon as your back hits the couch cushions."

I declined Chase's offer, picked up my bag, finally wore my neglected shoe and went out the door with a last goodbye call.

As I was about to leave the drive way I felt a hand place on my shoulder and spun me around.

I was about to scream out murder, only to come face to face with the tall handsome boy who always seemed to make my heart skip a beat (probably cause he terrified me), with pitch black locks that hid magnificent, hypnotic, green eyes.

"Oh, it's you"

He raised a brow at that, as though what I said somewhat hurt.

Nah that can't be right.

"Yeah, it's me. Let me give you a ride."

"Oh, no I'm good. You can just hang out with that dumb blonde"

He laughed at my stereotype of blondes and shook his head.

"No it's cool. I was making my way home anyway."

He released his hand from my shoulder, the warmth it emitted leaving with it. Leaving me slightly colder than before.

What? No that's not right.

I shook my head at my silly thoughts

"You coming?"

"Uh, y-yeah"

I slightly blushed in embarassment.

It's been a weird day, getting covered in sticky substances (not what you think, get your heads outta the gutter), getting pooped on, nearly dying by a slice of cake and now getting a car ride by the school's bad boy.

It's a surprise I survived it all in all honesty. Call me supergirl cause I kick ass!!

The car came to a stop infront of a lone two story house. The yard was large with lusheous, green grass. Flowers lined the side of the house, giving it a homey feel to the cold modern home.

I sighed as I unbuckled myself, turned to Nicholi and gave a thankful smile.

"Thanks for the ride. I'll call tomorrow to get a good schedule for the project."

Nicholi turned away from my house toward me. His face gave nothing away as it remained neutral.

Sometimes I wondered if he was even human. Had it not been for the few times I've seen him smile, I'd have thought he was a robot.

"I'll be waiting for that call"

He said casually, but to me it didn't seem like he meant it in a casual way.

Perhaps I was just reading too much into this.

I got out of the car, grabbed my bag and waved for the last time as I trudged my way to the front of the house.

The car didn't pull out until the front door was fully closed.

I watched as the black car, that resembled the outlook appearance of its owner drive off into the night.
