Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Dumbledore's Invitation

Tris Street, a Muggle town.

Only wealthy families lived here. At the very least, the buildings on Tris Street were all grand villas—large, beautiful houses with well-maintained gardens.

In the stillness of the night, a shadow swiftly streaked across the sky, gliding closer under the moonlight until it entered the second-floor window of one of these villas.

It was a raven.

What was curious, however, was that the raven transformed into a human the moment it entered.

The figure resembled a boy of about eighteen. His blue eyes were as deep and mesmerizing as the waters of the Aegean Sea. His golden hair, though slightly disheveled, hung lazily in soft curls, covering part of his handsome face.

Draped in a long purple robe, standing at 175 centimeters tall, and exuding an aura of noble elegance, Callister had become the undisputed standard of beauty on Tris Street.

Removing the robe draped over his shoulders, Callister revealed a black-and-white European-style suit underneath. With a snap of his fingers, the entire villa lit up as its lamps flickered to life.

Walking over to the fireplace, he pointed at it lightly. A surge of magic flowed out, instantly setting the logs ablaze. Warmth soon filled the room.

"Knock, knock."

A gentle tapping came from the window. Callister glanced over, moving his finger slightly to open the window. An owl flew in, carrying a letter that floated into his hand.

"Dear Callister," the handwriting on the letter read.

Smiling, Callister murmured, "That old codger Dumbledore still hasn't given up, has he?"

Callister's original name was Su Ning. He was, in every sense, a transmigrator.

Upon arriving in this world, he had activated his golden finger—a unique system of sorts—and inherited the legacy of a master magician from another world. Thus, he became a master of magic.

Whether it was magic spells, potions, or even crafting magical artifacts, there was nothing he couldn't do.

Yes, from the moment he arrived in this world, he was invincible.

Three years ago, he had crossed paths with Dumbledore in a rather peculiar place. During their meeting, Dumbledore had been astounded by his power and creations, persistently inviting him to join Hogwarts as a professor ever since.

The letter read:

> "Dear Callister, as an old friend, I once again formally invite you to join Hogwarts as a teacher. I am willing to grant you ample authority should you choose to share your unparalleled talents and contribute to the magical world.

Yours sincerely,

Albus Dumbledore."

After reading the letter, Callister chuckled and glanced at the owl, which remained perched nearby, gazing at him expectantly.

"You're waiting for my reply, aren't you?"

The owl nodded, its bright eyes filled with anticipation.

Callister smirked, waving his hand. A gentle flow of magic caused a pen on the desk to float up and swiftly write on a piece of paper.

Moments later, the letter was folded, sealed in an envelope, and bound with a flickering red flame that left the paper unscathed.

The now-miniaturized letter floated toward the owl, which accepted it but still did not leave.

"You cheeky little thing," Callister remarked with a smile. "You won't leave until you get your reward, will you?"

With a wave of his hand, a box opened, and a tiny bottle filled with blue liquid floated out.

The owl's eyes lit up as it eagerly flapped its wings and gulped the potion down in a few swift movements.

It was a bottle of high-quality magical potion.

Since experimenting on the owl with magical potions some time ago, Callister had unwittingly turned it into an addict. Every time it delivered or returned with letters, it would shamelessly demand a taste.

Over time, the owl developed magic within its body, becoming stronger, faster, and more resilient. A magical owl not transformed by a wizard—this was certainly something novel.

Even Dumbledore had expressed his amazement at the owl's transformation, calling it nothing short of miraculous.

When the owl finally left, Callister returned to his books, immersed in the study of forbidden spells, arcane knowledge, and magical lore.

At Hogwarts, Dumbledore greeted the returning owl, a smile spreading across his face.

"Ah, my dear Caesar, you've returned! Let's see if you've brought me good news."

Caesar was the owl's name, a name Callister had given it.

Though Caesar was originally loyal to Dumbledore, the magical potions it received from Callister had quickly won it over.

After glancing at the letter, Dumbledore burst into laughter.

"Oh, my stars, after three years of pleading, Callister has finally agreed to become a professor at Hogwarts!"

"Now, where should I assign him?" Dumbledore mused. "With his immense power, he'd fit well in Slytherin. But with Harry coming to Hogwarts, he might land in Gryffindor instead."

"Maybe I'll let every student attend Callister's lessons voluntarily. It's a whole new kind of magic, after all. I'm sure everyone will love it."

"Poor Quirrell," he added with a chuckle. "It seems you've got competition."

On a nearby shelf, Caesar rolled its eyes at the rambling headmaster, visibly exasperated by the man's childlike enthusiasm.

It left swiftly, returning to Callister's tranquil villa, where the atmosphere was far more pleasant. There, it perched quietly, watching its master read.

Yes, Callister's world was far more comfortable and peaceful. Dumbledore, that pesky old man, was just too much to handle.
