Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Car Sick Hagrid and the Suddenly Wealthy Harry

The elf gave Hagrid a meaningful glance, then looked at Harry, before carefully opening the envelope to read it.

After a moment, the elf handed the envelope back to Hagrid and said, "Gentlemen, please follow me."

"What's 'that thing' in Vault 713?" Harry tugged at Hagrid's sleeve, unable to resist his curiosity and asked.

Hagrid bent down, leaned in, and in a mysterious tone replied, "I can't tell you. It's absolute confidential."

"It's about Hogwarts. Dumbledore trusts me deeply; this is my job. Do you understand?"

Hearing this, Harry gave a soft "oh" and didn't press the matter further.

The elf led Harry and Hagrid through a large door, and they soon disappeared behind it.

Not far away, Callister, who was speaking with another elf, glanced at the direction where Harry and Hagrid had gone, smiled, and said, "The rich boy. I hope you won't be bothered by the Dursleys anymore. Stand up boldly and smash their heads with heavy Galleons."

"Mr. Callister, what did you say? Can you repeat it? I didn't catch that," one of the elves, who was serving Callister, asked, not having heard what he said.

Callister smiled and replied, "Never mind, elf."

"Alright!" The elf handed Callister a box, saying, "Mr. Callister, here is your item. Please keep it safe!"

Callister took the box and opened it, revealing a wand inside. It was golden, with flame-like patterns, partially wrapped in fiery red feathers, and emanating the aura of magic that had fused within it.

"Oh my god, this is a very high-quality wand. If I'm not mistaken, this wand is made from dragon bone and phoenix feather. How amazing," Callister said without trying to hide his excitement.

The elves nearby were astonished, unable to contain their surprise. The sharp sound of their exclamation stood out in the otherwise noisy hall, drawing the attention of everyone around to the wand in Callister's hand.

Wand crafting often involves using materials with specific properties. For example, Ollivanders' wands are all made from powerful magical substances, which is their essence. This is due to the materials they use, such as unicorn hair, phoenix tail feathers, and the heartstrings of fire dragons—materials that are not easy for just anyone to obtain, showcasing Ollivanders' expertise.

However, the wand in Callister's hand was not made by Ollivanders.

This was a wand Callister had crafted himself, made from the bone of a powerful fire dragon, the tail feather of a mighty phoenix, and the brightest and purest feather from a unicorn.

It was a unique wand, one-of-a-kind in the world.

Callister waved the wand gently, and a burst of magic erupted, instantly spreading through the hall of the magical bank.

The previously excited elves suddenly fell silent, their minds calming, as if soothed by an unseen force.

This was a purification spell—one that cleanses the mind, dispels evil, and brings calm.

"Thank you, elf, for keeping my wand so well. Also, I need to collect some Galleons from the vault," Callister said, putting the wand away and smiling at the elf.

"Certainly, Mr. Callister," the elf said, a look of slight embarrassment on his face. He immediately added, "I'll take care of it for you."

Meanwhile, Harry and Hagrid, led by the elf, boarded a special vehicle that moved with incredible speed, even more thrilling than a rollercoaster. It twisted left and right, up and down, and then plummeted straight down, making people's heads spin. Poor Hagrid, the giant, was utterly car sick.

The cold air rushed past, stinging Harry's eyes, but he forced himself to open them and look around.

In the distance, he saw a flicker of fire in a corner and couldn't help but wonder, "Could there really be a fire dragon living here?"

Unfortunately, they were moving too fast for him to make anything out.

After a while, the three of them got off the vehicle and stopped in front of a small door.

Hagrid staggered out, leaning against the wall, looking pale and visibly uncomfortable, his legs trembling.

Harry looked at Hagrid and smiled, then asked, "Hagrid, are you alright?"

"I'm fine, absolutely fine," Hagrid said, forcing himself to fight the urge to vomit, trying to act strong and steady.

Harry smiled and said nothing.

The elf unlocked the door, and a thick green smoke poured out. Once the mist cleared, Harry gasped.

Inside the vault were piles of gold coins, silver bars, and mountains of bronze coins.

"Harry, it's all yours now," Hagrid said casually, wiping his mouth with his thick coat and smiling.

Harry snapped out of his daze, a thrilled grin spreading across his face.

The wealth of a lifetime—it was all his now.

Harry couldn't help but think, "Maybe I can finally leave the Dursleys' house."

Hagrid, ever the rough-and-tumble man, pulled out a bag and stuffed it with Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts, filling it to the brim before handing it to Harry. "This should cover your expenses for two terms. The rest will stay here for safekeeping."

"Alright, now we need to head to Vault 713!"

"Elf, can you slow down the car? I'm going to pass out if this continues."

"The car speed is fixed, Mr. Hagrid," the elf replied.

"My god, this is insane. Don't talk to me for a while," Hagrid said, his face paling again. He slumped in the vehicle, closing his mouth, clearly pouting.

Harry sat in the vehicle, smiling, finding Hagrid incredibly endearing.

A cute giant—this was amusing.

Vault 713 didn't have a key; only the goblins of Gringotts could open it, otherwise, one would be sucked into the door, becoming part of the entrance, unable to get out.

There was undoubtedly something very precious inside this ultra-secure underground vault.

At least, that's what Harry thought.

However, to Harry's surprise, there were no glittering jewels or gold coins, not even any strange and magical objects.

It was just a small, brown, and dirty bag.

Hagrid retrieved it carefully and hid it inside his large coat, looking unusually cautious and solemn.

Harry wanted to ask what it was, but he knew that Hagrid wouldn't tell him.

Hagrid was Dumbledore's most trusted man.
