Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Do I Have the Chance to Become Your Student?

"Ugh!"

"This Fairy Wagon from the Ancient Spirit Pavilion is truly unbearable!"

"How can they drive so recklessly, and at such a high speed? This is even crazier and more thrilling than a rollercoaster."

"I feel so awful. I need to grab a drink at the Broken Cauldron Bar to perk myself up."

Hagrid's face was pale, and he looked incredibly weak, which was in stark contrast to his large, imposing physique.

In desperate need of a drink to revive himself, Hagrid simply said a word and left.

Harry, holding his enrollment list and tugging at his purse, entered Madam Malkin's Robe Shop with some nervousness.

Madam Malkin was a short and plump witch, wearing a purple robe and a friendly smile that made her seem very approachable.

However, at that moment, Madam Malkin's attention wasn't focused on the new customer.

"Oh my goodness, Mr. Callister, I have to say, this robe looks absolutely stunning on you. It seems tailor-made just for you!"

"You are the most handsome, young, and aristocratic-looking teacher I've ever seen since opening my shop!"

Madam Malkin, looking at the sun-kissed Callister, dressed in a silver-white noble suit with golden trim, exclaimed in excitement.

Callister looked at his reflection in the mirror and smiled. "Thank you for the compliment, Madam Malkin."

"Of course, your craftsmanship is excellent as well. This set fits perfectly, and I'll take this black one too. Please pack it up for me."

Madam Malkin smiled and said, "No problem at all. It's an honor to serve you."

"Harry, are you here to buy clothes?" Callister asked with a smile as he stood by the door.

Harry, upon hearing this, smiled back. "Yes, Mr. Callister."

"By the way, I overheard Madam Malkin saying you're a teacher. Which school are you teaching at?"

Harry, somewhat excited and curious, inquired. The man didn't look very old, but it was surprising to hear that he was a teacher.

"Hogwarts!" Callister grinned.

"Wow, that's awesome! So does that mean I might become your student?" Harry asked, feeling delighted.

Callister smiled and said, "Perhaps."

"Hogwarts has four houses, as you must know," Callister continued, "but which house you'll be assigned to is still uncertain."

As he spoke, Callister's face broke into a meaningful smile as he looked at Harry Potter. "However, from what I know about you, Harry, I think you'll end up in Gryffindor."

"Why?" Harry asked, puzzled.

"Because you're brave, clever, have a strong sense of chivalry, and enjoy adventure," Callister explained with a smile.

"Thank you!" Harry blushed slightly and adjusted his glasses, feeling a bit happy.

"Madam Malkin, this is my friend Harry Potter. He needs three sets of Hogwarts school uniforms. Could you please prepare them for him?" Callister smiled at Madam Malkin, who was busy packing.

Madam Malkin looked at Harry with surprise and awe. "So you're that Harry Potter. It's an absolute honor to meet you in person."

"Clothes are no problem. Leave it to me!"

Madam Malkin's enthusiasm made Harry feel somewhat awkward, but under her sharp gaze, she soon selected three outfits that suited Harry perfectly.

Then, with Madam Malkin's enthusiastic farewell, they left the robe shop.

"Harry, is there anything else you need to prepare?"

"I could help you get it ready," Callister asked with a smile.

Harry grinned and said, "Really? That would be wonderful. Let me see if there's anything I missed."

With Callister by his side, Harry felt incredibly at ease and trusted him deeply.

Looking at the long list of school supplies, Harry said, "It's quite a lot. Looks like I'll need to trouble you, Mr. Callister."

The textbooks were: Basic Standard Spells, History of Magic, Magical Theory, Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, A Thousand Magical Herbs, Potion-making and Elixirs, Dark Magic: A Self-Defense Guide.

The equipment: A wand, a cauldron, a set of glass and crystal potion vials, a telescope, a brass scale, and an owl, cat, or toad.

Callister took Harry to various shops, and in no time, Harry was carrying many items.

Seeing this, Callister bought a small suitcase from one of the shops and said, "Put all your things in here, Harry."

Harry looked at the small suitcase, which could barely fit the three sets of clothes, and said, "Mr. Callister, this suitcase is too small. We should get a bigger one."

Callister smiled and replied, "Don't worry, trust me, this suitcase will fit everything you need."

With that, Callister cast a spell on the suitcase. Then, using his wand, he waved it over the books, equipment, and clothes Harry was holding, and watched as everything neatly fit inside the suitcase.

"Wow, what kind of magic is this? How did you do that?" Harry, still unfamiliar with magic, asked in amazement.

After everything was stored in the suitcase, it shrank to one-tenth its size, and all the items were neatly packed in one corner.

"This is a size-altering charm, a rather advanced spell. If you want to learn it, you can come to me," Callister smiled.

"Now, try lifting it," he gestured.

Harry, eager to try, picked up the suitcase and was astonished to find it incredibly light.

"How is this possible?" Harry asked in wonder.

"Because I cast a levitation charm on it. When you pick it up, it'll feel very light. The magic will stay on the suitcase permanently unless someone removes it," Callister said with a grin.

Harry, amazed by the magic, happily spun the suitcase around and exclaimed, "This is so cool!"

Then, Harry, filled with anticipation, said, "Mr. Callister, I want to learn magic from you."

Callister chuckled lightly. "I hope so. But I'm not sure how Dumbledore will arrange my position."

Hagrid squeezed through the crowded street and approached them, smelling faintly of alcohol. "Hey, so you're here!"

With that, Hagrid handed Harry an owl, a snowy owl, and said, "Harry, this is your birthday gift from me."

"I hope you like it."

Looking at the adorable snowy owl, hearing Hagrid's words, Harry was deeply moved and smiled. "Hagrid, thank you. This is the best gift I've ever received."

Harry's birthdays had always been dull. The Dursleys never gave him any presents or threw him a party.

So this was his first-ever birthday gift.

"I see you've got all your supplies ready."

"Well, you're still missing one thing."

"Now, there's one very important task left: you need to get a wand that suits you."

"Only with the right wand can you fully unleash your potential."

Hagrid, flipping through Harry's suitcase, smiled with satisfaction.

Upon hearing this, Harry excitedly smiled. "Great! I'm going to have my own wand and cast magic!"
