Hagrid had returned to Hogwarts, and Callister did not remain with Harry because Harry had his own journey ahead and needed to obtain his own wand. His acquaintance with Harry was enough for now.
The chosen one of the magical world—how he would develop in the future was something Callister looked forward to.
After leaving Diagon Alley, Callister returned home.
He was about to leave this house for Hogwarts, but before that, it needed a good cleaning. At least, for an extended period, he didn't want anyone intruding upon his home.
Callister picked up a briefcase and retrieved a puppet from inside.
As Callister took it out, the puppet began to grow, eventually reaching a height of 1.8 meters.
The puppet wore a suit, tied a bow tie, and sported a handlebar mustache, looking extremely sharp.
Callister took out his wand and muttered, "Grant you a soul, be loyal to me, Divine Summoning."
A flash of light shot from Callister's wand and struck the puppet. The next moment, the puppet came to life.
No longer just a puppet, it became a being with flesh, blood, and a soul.
The puppet moved its body and, seeing Callister, spoke with great civility, "Master!"
Callister surveyed the person before him, smiling slightly as he said, "From now on, you'll be called Katevis. You are my butler. While I'm away, you will manage my home."
"You may read the books in the house, but you are not to enter the basement. Do you understand?"
Katevis replied, ever the gentleman, "Thank you for your gracious gift, Master. I will strive to fulfill my duties as a butler."
Callister nodded and smiled. "Alright, now you may do as you need to. I'll be leaving in a few days."
"Yes, Master!" Katevis smiled slightly and turned to leave, quickly stepping into his role and beginning to manage the home.
Callister was satisfied as he returned to his room. Though he often used magic to maintain the house, ensuring cleanliness, it would become quite messy if no one managed it while he was away.
Moreover, this home needed some liveliness. With the butler here, it might feel a little better.
The Divine Summoning was a high-level, forbidden light magic from the magical heritage Callister had acquired—a spell that even a Grand Sorcerer could barely cast, while a Holy Sorcerer could do so effortlessly.
After a few days of brief residence, Callister finally left.
"Hogwarts!"
Using Floo Powder, Callister easily arrived at Hogwarts and appeared in Dumbledore's office.
At that moment, Dumbledore was with Professor Minerva McGonagall, and they seemed to be discussing something.
The sudden appearance of Callister left Professor McGonagall slightly taken aback, and she quickly looked at Dumbledore.
For Callister to appear in the office, it was clear that he had been here before and was familiar with Dumbledore.
Dumbledore smiled upon seeing Callister emerge from the fireplace and stood up. "Callister, you've finally arrived. I am so glad you accepted my invitation."
After shaking Dumbledore's hand, Callister smiled and said, "I just think it's time for my magic to be shared with the world. Though it's incredibly destructive, I believe it will mark the beginning of a revolution in the magical world."
Dumbledore chuckled at this and said, "The magical world remains dangerous and dark. It needs a new power to quiet things down amid the turmoil."
"Hogwarts is a wonderful stage, and I can use my own integrity and reputation to guarantee that those troublemakers won't interfere with your teaching."
Callister looked at the serious Dumbledore, smiled slightly, and said, "Albus, I hope you understand that my magic will draw attention from the Ministry. Hogwarts will become a school filled with power in the future."
Dumbledore adjusted his glasses, smiling. "There are too many Death Eaters, and they are secretly plotting war. Hogwarts may be caught in the crossfire. But the students here have powerful self-defense abilities, which can help protect the school from greater crises."
Callister smiled at Dumbledore and, after a moment of thought, replied, "Albus, to me, you've always been a wise and great white wizard."
"You always find something worth cherishing in others, no matter how down and out or insignificant they may seem."
"Moreover, you always plan ahead, and I trust your vision and wisdom."
"I'm honored to become a professor at Hogwarts. But I am curious—what position will I be taking here?"
Professor McGonagall, overhearing the conversation, was puzzled at first but soon realized. Still, she asked, "I'm sorry to interrupt, but, Albus, shouldn't you introduce this young man to me?"
She looked at the happy Dumbledore, filled with curiosity.
"Is this the one?"
Dumbledore burst out laughing, completely unlike his usual composed self.
"Professor McGonagall, my name is Callister. It's a pleasure to meet you. I often follow your work on Animagus transformations. I've heard you've written a book, and I hope I'll have the chance to read it."
Callister glanced at Dumbledore before turning to Professor McGonagall to introduce himself.
Professor McGonagall, hearing that Callister was one of her fans, immediately brightened and confirmed his identity.
"It's an honor. Albus often speaks highly of you, especially about your groundbreaking magic. It truly is a miracle."
"If possible, I would love to be your student and learn more about this new magic."
"Also, welcome to Hogwarts."
Callister smiled slightly, shook Professor McGonagall's hand, and replied, "We are both learning from each other. I have conducted some research on Animagus transformations using your papers, so I'm looking forward to further discussions. Perhaps, through this, we can make the spellcasting and application of Animagus transformations easier and more convenient."
Professor McGonagall, intrigued by Callister's other research on Animagus transformations, said, "Professor Callister, if possible, I would like to begin our discussion on Animagus right away."
Dumbledore, seeing the exchange, chuckled and interrupted. "Hey, Professor McGonagall, Callister is new here. We need to give him a proper welcome."
"The new students are arriving soon, and you have your own work to attend to."
Professor McGonagall, somewhat disappointed, said, "Albus, you're dampening my enthusiasm. You should let someone else host the event."
Ignoring her, Dumbledore took Callister by the arm and led him out of the office. "We need to head to the Great Hall and hold a welcoming ceremony for the new students and for Callister."
