A while after they finished eating, Sorev glanced at Crevan who seemed to be lost in his thoughts and Sorev's eyes narrowed, wondering what he was thinking about, since for the time he had known Crevan he hardly showed interest in getting himself involved in other people's matter.
That was due to the influence of the organization, but when Nova was concerned, things seemed to be changing Crevan actually wanted to be of help to him, despite not knowing Nova for long, only having met him a few days ago, which was quite baffling given Crevan's reserved nature, however, Sorev chose not to question him about it.
"What are you thinking about?" Sorev asked and Crevan glanced at him as he was snapped out of his thoughts.
"There was someone here." he said, glancing at Nova, who was interacting with a few adventurer's. "Someone sent by the order to watch us here, I know from the way he behaved."
Upon hearing that Sorev's eyes narrowed, he did not like the many implications that could bring, knowing they now had their eyes on Nova, as the latest and newest awakened necromancer.
"What are they doing? Is it the elders?" Sorev asked.
"No, I am not sure as yet, but I do intend to find out, he has to be careful, many things are changing these days," He responded as Sorev kept his gaze fixed on Nova, who was learning a bit more from those far more experienced than him, which was a good thing.
"Be careful. I never liked the order, the way they do things I do not like, but I never thought of them as essentially evil. However, given the latest changes that are happening, my opinion may change," Sorev said. Crevan looked at him, with his eyes narrowed.
"I understand and I know where it is coming from, a lot is indeed changing," Crevan agreed.
"The boy will be coming with you tomorrow to meet that elder, all necromancers have to meet him, keep an eye on Nova, do not let him get caught up in anything," Sorev said, as they stood up.
"Got it, I will keep an eye on him," Crevan replied as they walked out of the tavern and Nova followed them.
Sorev greeted both of them good night, before leaving to go home and Crevan did the same, not before warning Nova, to be on time the next day at the headquarters.
Nova returned to the inn where he was staying and he freshened up while taking care of his injuries and when he finished he went to bed, since he was quite tired and needed to rest.
However, when he drifted off to sleep, his mind began to wander and he began seeing things which he never did before, but he already knew whose life he was seeing, it was the life of the original owner of the body.
Due to the memories, he had seen that Nova had a hard life, something he could sympathize with, though from parts of his memories, he could tell the original owner was from a noble family, one in which he was treated as an outcast.
He wanted to know more about him, but at the time, his memories were limited and he was slowly learning more about him, though he knew that one day he would get dragged into his life and he would have to fix things.
One particular memory, jolted Nova awake, his eyes wide open as he sat up on the bed and that memory was of the ill-treatment the original owner had, far worse than he had ever faced, during his time living as Zade, before being transported to Etarion.
Nova exhaled deeply, before laying back against the bed and closing his eyes, after a little while, he managed to fall back asleep.
After a long night of being bothered constantly by memories, the next morning, Nov woke up and stretched off, before getting out of bed and going about his normal morning routine, since he had to meet up with Crevan and he could not be late.
A little while after, when he finished, he left the inn, hurrying to reach the headquarters, while eating one of the pastries that he had bought.
While he was heading to the headquarters, he bumped into someone and nearly dropped his pastry, but the person grabbed it.
"If I were you, I would watch where you are going, the streets can be dangerous at times, you know," The person said and when he looked up, his eyes widened a bit.
A female dressed in a white and gold body suit armor, with piercing gold eyes behind a mask and her long silky gold and white locks flowed down her, as she passed by him, with a subtle glance.
Before he could even react, she was already one and he was left standing there, a bit frozen with his eyes narrowed, wondering who that was.
'Who is that?' He thought as her scent lingered and he blinked then shook his head, remembering what he was doing before he bumped into her and he rushed off towards the headquarters.
Within little time, he arrived at the building and upon showing his ID, the guards allowed him to enter, though they had already recognized him, due to how many times he had been there within the past few days.
Upon arriving there, a loud rumble passed through the ground of the headquarters bringing all the guards and everyone within the building on alert and Nova's eyes widened when he saw smoke and an explosion happened on the northern half of the building.
He rushed forth and at the same time, he saw two figures leaping out from the top of the building, where the explosion happened, using the smoke as a cover and his eyes narrowed, as he wondered what was going on.
Everything was in disarray, as the guards and other officials, rushed to find the intruders and put out the fire, using magic.
Nova followed the figures he saw, but when he reached them, he saw it was a man and he froze when his eyes met the other figure.
