"Come." The Deity said, beckoning on Lex to come closer.
Lex nodded. He pretended to come closer, then he broke off into a run, charging towards the exit.
But it was a futile attempt, the deity wasn't yet so weak that he would let such a youngling escape from his sight.
Lex felt his body off its motion, and he was suddenly being pulled backwards.
In a heartbeat, he was facing the Deity.
The deity simply ignored the fact that he tried to escape. Instead, he continued.
"Now, The Time has come, I can't go on any longer."
Lex was suddenly scared. "Wait! What about the breathing technique or something?"
The Deity brought out a necklace, he handed it over to Lex as he spoke. "You would eventually be able to open the portal on your own, but not now. You're still too weak for your body to handle the pressure of opening the gates to the kingdom of heaven."
"Why would I ever need to go there?" Lex asked.
The Deity laughed a little, causing the ichor to pour from his lips. Without saying a word, he closed his eyes and stretched his hands towards Lex.
Lex would understand right after this action.
Slowly, his skin started to dissipate, it was turning into mist and flowing towards Lex, as if he was absorbing The Deity. "They would come for you, now...so you better not try to run"
"I am...The Breathing Technique." The Deity said his last, then his body petrified, turning a gigantic statue.
Lex then felt it, strange information, celestial information. He felt purer than ever and also felt stronger than ever.
He could feel it, the Auric Eternity Breathing Technique flowing through his veins, he just to master it now. He also felt the presence of the deity in him, Lex took a deep breath. He had to start his cultivation immediately.
From what his new knowledge told him, he was going to die immediately, if he didn't get stronger. Thankfully, he didn't grow any bigger than he already was. So he was just human sized.
Lex stood up slowly, but it happened even faster than he could imagine.
A portal suddenly opened in front of him and a gigantic creature jumped out. It wasn't as tall as the deity had been, but it was still twice his size.
He didn't need to be told, Lex took off running immediately.
"I am Khaos, and if you truly deserve to be the successor of the supreme deity, then stop, stop and fight me!" Lex heard the being's voice booming from his behind. But was he stupid? Why would he ever stop?
Lex didn't stop at all, instead, he ran faster, zooming away. He noticed he was way faster now, and he quickly exploited it. He didn't even have a weapon, so why would he even try to fight?
While he was pondering this, Khaos had suddenly appeared in front of him, swinging his axe in the direction of Lex's head.
Lex had gained a big boost to his reaction now. He managed to dodge the axe and continued his run.
"You're a coward, just like your predecessor!" Khaos fumed as he swung his axe again.
But Lex weaved the attack, he swung his hand back, cracking up a punch and throwing it at Khaos head.
The blow made a clean connection, sending Khaos flying away.
But Khaos quickly recovered, and he was hot on Lex's trail again.
"Shit! The attack didn't even hurt him..." Lex mused to himself. "I have to travel into the kingdom of heaven now, that is the safest place."
And he was right, that was actually the safest place for him to be. The hell hounds couldn't penetrate that place easily.
"But I am not yet strong enough, I can't open a portal yet!" Lex suddenly remembered the necklace and he was overjoyed. He quickly grabbed the necklace from his pocket and pointed it forward, he clutched it tightly.
Nothing happened.
Khaos swung another axe strike at his head, trying to pry his head open into two equal parts.
Lex managed to dodge the attack, buthe knew that that portal had better worked now, or he would be dead.
Lex clutched it even tighter. Please...! Open!"
He was luckier this time, the portal opened. Lex wasted no time to jump into the portal, but not before Khaos released one last attack.
Lex had jumped already, so the axe missed him, however, the axe caught the necklace, and...
It shattered.
Lex screamed as he fell into the portal, he felt the world around him suddenly change and he was in somewhere very unfamiliar.
Lex landed on his feet. He slowly looked around..."Is this..the kingdom of heaven?"
While he was still thinking, his mind suddenly went to the necklace and he opened his palm. However, only broken bits filled his hand, the bits fell to the floor and shattered, turning into dust that was swept away by the gentle breeze.
Lex inhaled sharply as tears suddenly rolled down his eyes. It happened very quickly and sharply. That necklace was the only assurance he had that he was going to see his sister soon. But with it gone now, he only to wait till God knows before he could get stronger and open a portal by himself.
"Wait, he is God now!"
"Oh man, so even God doesn't know???????"
"Greetings, our Supreme Deity. The west side has been totally conquered by Abaddon, your brother, Tharros is nowhere to be found. The warriors need urgent backup, should we send reinforcements, my lord?"
Lex raised a brow, staring at the extremely beautiful celestial made that was speaking.
It suddenly dawned on him, I am the one... she's talking to!
