"What are you talking about?" Lexi asked, her voice laced with confusion and concern.
"Your attention is not needed here, you should go back to your room," Victoria said again, her tone dismissive and condescending.
Jameson grabbed Victoria's arm and dragged her away, his face twisted in anger.
"What is that all about?" he asked the moment they were out of earshot.
"What are you talking about?" Victoria asked, her eyes flashing with defiance.
"Why did you call her maid, you know she is not, that is so petty of you," Jameson yelled angrily, his voice echoing through the hallway.
"Why are you getting angry about it?" Victoria snapped, her voice rising to meet his. "I just helped, or do you want everyone to find out she is your wife?"
Jameson's face turned red with rage.
"Why did you have to call her that? You can call her your friend or even your sister, It could be all over the school blogs by tomorrow. Just why?"
"Why are you overreacting? She is not my friend, and she didn't deserve to be my sister too. I can never call her that."Victoria scoffed.
Jameson shook his head, his anger boiling over. "Maybe you should just go home."
Victoria's face twisted in anger. "Are you sending me off because of her?" she yelled, but Jameson ignored her and started leaving.
"I hate that bitch so much," Victoria grunted, her anger palpable as she stormed off in the opposite direction.
.
.
"Where are you going?" a voice asked as Lexi was about to go up the stairs. She had been standing in the same spot for minutes, trying to process what was happening.
She turned to see Victoria's friend, a girl with a smirk on her face. "You can't leave until I tell you to," the girl said, pouring the wine she was holding onto the floor. "I need your help with cleaning up this mess."
Everyone around them laughed and cheered, and Lexi felt her anger rising. She moved towards the girl, who looked at her with a sense of proudness.
"You should do your job and make the house clean like a maid," the girl said, her voice dripping with condescension.
Lexi had had enough. She grabbed a wine glass from the table and poured the contents onto the girl's face. The girl gasped in shock, and everyone around them fell silent.
"I won't let you treat me that way," Lexi said, her voice firm.
But before she could leave, someone grabbed her shoulder.
"Are you going to do what she said, or should I force you?" a guy asked, his voice menacing.
Lexi tried to wriggle out of his hold, but he held her tightly. She felt a surge of fear as his grip tightened, and tears began to escape her eyes.
"I thought you were strong," the guy mocked, his grip getting even tighter.
Just as Lexi thought she couldn't take it anymore, a heavy punch landed on the guy's jaw, and he went down immediately.
"Get out of my house, all of you!" Jameson yelled, his face red with anger. "Now!"
The people around them flinched, and Jameson grabbed Lexi's arm and started dragging her upstairs.
But he suddenly stopped and faced the crowd. "For your information, she is not a maid," he said, his voice firm.
"So what is she then?" someone asked, but Jameson ignored them and continued to drag Lexi upstairs.
As they disappeared from view, the partygoers looked at each other in confusion. "What the hell is going on here? Is the party over already?" Jordan asked, looking around in confusion.
They were in the game room and had no idea what was happening. They saw Victoria storming out of the mansion with her friend.
"I think we missed something juicy," Freddie muttered, looking at Jordan with a raised eyebrow.
.
.
.
Jameson stormed into his room, still dragging Lexi behind him. He was furious with her, but he didn't know why. Maybe it was because she had just stood there and let her sister call her a maid. Maybe it was because she hadn't spoken up for herself.
He stopped suddenly and turned to face her. "So you're just going to stand there and say nothing when your sister calls you a maid?" he asked, his voice low.
Lexi didn't say anything. She just looked at him with those big brown eyes of hers, and Jameson felt his anger melt away. But he was still frustrated with her.
"I don't understand you," he said, shaking his head. "When it comes to me, you can speak and argue with me, but when it comes to your sister, you just allow her to treat you however she pleases. I don't know what's going on in your family or between you two, but it's got to stop. It's annoying."
Lexi still didn't say anything. She just looked at him, her eyes welling up with tears.
"I don't want trouble," she muttered finally.
Jameson sighed. "So you're just going to allow Victoria to continue riding you? I may like her, but I hate bullies. You should stand up for yourself. Don't be a fool. It doesn't look good on you."
Lexi shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "What am I supposed to do then? You don't even know anything, okay?"
Jameson felt a pang of guilt. He didn't know anything. He didn't know what was going on in Lexi's life or what her family dynamics were like. He just knew that he didn't like seeing her treated this way.
He sighed and went to hug her. "You should stop crying," he said, his voice soft.
But Lexi just cried harder, her body shaking with sobs. Jameson didn't know what to do, so he just held her, petting her back and trying to comfort her.
After a while, Lexi's sobs subsided, and she rested her head on Jameson's shoulder. He didn't know why he was doing this, but he couldn't seem to help himself.
As they stood there, Lexi's body relaxed, and she fell asleep in Jameson's arms. He looked down at her, feeling a sense of wonder. What was happening to him? He is finally going crazy?".

THE NEXT MORNING
Lexi turned on the bed, and her nose caught the familiar, addictive fragrance. It was Jameson. Her eyes snapped open, and she gasped when she realized she was in Jameson's room, on his bed. What happened last night started coming back to her brain, and she must have slept off in his arms. The thought of that made her blush.
She looked around the room, taking in the neat and clean space. This was the second time she would be in his room, and she couldn't help but notice the little things that made it feel so much like him. She sniffed the blanket and smiled, feeling a sense of comfort.
Just as she was starting to relax, she heard the sound of the bathroom door opening. She quickly lay back down and pretended to be asleep, not wanting Jameson to know she was awake.
"It seems like you're not going to school today since you're still pretending to be asleep," Jameson said, his voice dripping with amusement.
Lexi's eyes snapped open, and she quickly came down from the bed. She gasped when she saw how sexy Jameson looked with water dripping off his body. She almost felt like touching his abs.
"Good morning," she muttered and ran out of his room, trying to escape the awkwardness.
She quickly took her bath and went downstairs to eat breakfast. Jameson wasn't around anymore.
After she was done, she went outside and heard a car horn. She moved towards the car and saw Jameson at the driver's seat, waiting for her. She couldn't believe it.
"Are you getting in, or should I go?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Lexi came back to her senses and entered the car. Jameson drove off, and she couldn't stop staring at his handsome face. She didn't understand why he was suddenly being nice to her, but she liked it so much. She smiled to herself and started playing with her fingers, feeling a sense of excitement.
All these feelings were new to her, and she felt amazing experiencing them. She couldn't wait to see what the day had in store.
Soon, they arrived at school, and they both got out of the car. The few students in the parking lot were in shock as they watched, their eyes fixed on Jameson and Lexi.
"Wow, Jameson is actually driving Lexi to school," one of them whispered. "I didn't know they were friends."
"I know, right?" another student replied. "I've never seen Jameson like this before. He's always been so reserved."
Lexi blushed and looked away, feeling a sense of embarrassment. She didn't know what was going on with Jameson, but she liked it.
.
.
.
Lexi was about to enter her class when someone suddenly dragged her away. It was Gemma, her best friend.
"Jameson brought you to school today, how is that possible?" Gemma asked in shock.
Lexi looked around nervously before leaning in close. "You won't tell anybody, right?" she asked.
"I promise I won't. You both are dating, right?" She asked.
Lexi hesitated before answering. "No, we're married."
"You're joking, right? Tell me it's a joke."Gemma's jaw dropped.
Lexi shook her head. "It's the truth. We got married a week ago and we're living together. Look at the pictures."
Lexi showed Gemma their wedding pictures on her phone. Gemma's eyes scanned the photos, her expression changing from shock to disbelief.
"You're kidding me, right?" Gemma asked, her voice shaking.
Lexi smiled. "I'm not kidding. We're really married."
Gemma suddenly hugged Lexi tightly. "I knew you were special the moment I saw you. I'm so glad I'm your friend."
Lexi smiled back, feeling happy to have shared her secret with someone.
"I'm glad too," Lexi said.
Gemma pulled back, her eyes shining with excitement. "You're like the luckiest girl ever. Do you know how many girls would die to be in your shoes? I'm just so happy right now."
Lexi laughed. "Don't tell anyone about it. It's going to be a secret for now."
Gemma grinned mischievously. "Cross my heart, I won't tell anyone."
The two friends hugged again before heading to class.
"So, have you done what couples always do? How is it? Is he good?"Gemma asked curiously,As they walked.
Lexi blushed and shook her head. "I'm not answering that."
Gemma laughed. "Come on, Lexi. I'm your best friend. I need to know."
Lexi playfully rolled her eyes. "I'm not telling you anything. Let's just focus on getting through the day."

"I know you'll be here," Victoria said, her voice dripping with confidence, the moment she entered the room and saw Jameson.
Jameson groaned and stood up, his eyes fixed on Victoria with a mixture of annoyance and frustration.
"I don't want guests," he said, his voice firm.
Victoria's eyes narrowed, her face twisted in anger.
"I can't believe you're snubbing me because of her," she said, her voice rising.
Jameson didn't respond. He just turned and walked out of the room, leaving Victoria to follow him.
As they walked, Jameson saw Lexi heading in a certain direction and quickly followed her. He saw her approach an empty classroom and hurried to catch up with her, but she had already entered the room. Jameson hesitated for a moment, wondering if he should follow her, but then he saw Wayne inside and stopped.
Lexi had received a card from a junior, Wayne, asking her to meet him in this classroom. She had been curious and a little apprehensive, but she had decided to come anyway.
As she entered the room, she saw Wayne standing there, a smile on his face.
"What's the occasion?" she asked, looking around at the little decorations he had made.
"I made this for you," Wayne said, his eyes shining with excitement. "I wanted to make it special."
Lexi's heart skipped a beat as Wayne moved closer to her.
"But why, Wayne? This is school," she said, trying to sound calm.
Wayne's face was inches from hers. "I can't wait anymore," he said, his voice low and husky. "I've been wanting to do this for so long."
And with that, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. Lexi was taken aback,Wayne's lip met hers in a deep kiss, Lexi was shocked.
But as they kissed, Jameson turned and left the doorway, his face twisted in anger. He couldn't believe what he had just seen.
"Where have you been? I've been looking for you everywhere," Victoria's voice came from behind him, but Jameson didn't respond. Without warning, he turned and slammed his lip onto Victoria's, and she responded immediately.
As they kissed, Jameson's mind was elsewhere. He couldn't believe that Lexi had kissed Wayne.
.
.
.
.
Lexi suddenly recovered from her shock and pulled away from the kiss, her eyes wide with anger.
"Why did you do that?" she demanded, her voice shaking.
Wayne looked at her, his eyes filled with passion.
"Lexi, I couldn't hold it anymore," he said, his voice husky. "I love you so much, since the moment I saw you. Please be my girlfriend."
Lexi's eyes widened in shock, and she moved back a little, her mind racing. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"I don't know what to say," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Wayne smiled and took a step closer to her. "You don't have to give me an answer right away," he said, his eyes locked on hers. "I'll wait for you."
But Lexi was already backing away, her heart racing. She didn't know what to do, didn't know how to process this sudden confession.
"I should just go," she said, her voice shaking, and turned to run away.
Wayne muttered a curse under his breath as he watched her go. He had blown it, he knew it. He had moved too fast, scared her off.
.
.
.
Lexi paced around the sitting room worriedly, her mind racing with thoughts of Jameson. She didn't know why she was so anxious, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She was supposed to be in her room sleeping, but she couldn't relax until Jameson came home.
It was already late, and Jameson had ignored her during closing time and driven off without her. She hadn't seen him when she arrived home either, which was why she was waiting up for him.
Just as she was starting to get really worried, she heard the sound of a car driving into their mansion. She went outside and saw Jameson getting out of his car. He ignored her and walked past her into the mansion, leaving her to follow him.
"Jameson," she called out, but he didn't respond.
"Hey, Jameson," she called again, and he glared at her.
"What is it?" he snapped, his tone dripping with annoyance.
"Did I do something wrong?" she asked, feeling a sense of trepidation.
Jameson didn't respond and started climbing the stairs, leaving her to follow him.
"Hey, you should stop confusing me," she yelled, her voice echoing off the walls. "Stop acting nice one moment and then acting like a jerk the next."
Jameson turned towards her, his eyes flashing with anger. "Why does my behavior bother you?" he sneered. "You have a good guy you can go to anyway. You can kiss him all you want."
Lexi's eyes widened in shock. "How did you know?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jameson scoffed. "I know how you shamelessly flirt around with him. You're married, but that doesn't seem to stop you."
Lexi's face burned with anger. "You're one to talk," she spat. "You're always kissing and flirting with my sister. But you're angry when I do it?"
Jameson shrugged. "Your sister is a better choice. And you can shamelessly go around with as many guys as you want. I don't care. That's the only thing you're good at anyway."
Lexi's eyes welled up with tears as she slapped Jameson twice across the face.
"Jerk," she hissed, her voice trembling with rage.
Jameson's face reddened, but he didn't respond. He just turned and walked away, leaving Lexi standing there, her heart beating loudly.
