Lexi turned lazily on the bed, stretching her arms above her head and arching her back in a languid cat stretch. She wasn't having any lectures today, so she was waking up very late. Her phone suddenly dinged, and she cleaned her sleepy eyes before picking it up to check the message sent to her from her father.
As she read the message, her eyes widened in shock. It was a news article about her mother, and it was brutal. The headline screamed " Slut Mother Cheats on Husband, Gives Birth to Bastard Child!" and the article went on to detail her mother's alleged infidelities and how Lexi was the product of one of those affairs. The article even included pictures of her and her mother, and Lexi felt a wave of nausea wash over her.
Her phone suddenly rang, and she knew it was her father. She picked up with shaking hands, her heart racing with anxiety.
"So, you liked the news I sent you?" her father asked, his voice dripping with malice.
"Dad, how could you do that?" Lexi asked, tears streaming down her face.
"I warned you, Lexi," her father said, his voice cold and detached.
"I told you to remain as my daughter's shadow, but you chose not to listen. You dared to take her spot on the swimming team. You think you're better than her?" He asked.
Lexi cried, her body shaking with sobs.
"You can't do that to my mum, you can't do that to me!" She said.
"Oh, I can," her father said, his voice dripping with menace.
"You're still lucky that I haven't posted the news online. I just wrote it down so that you can know how serious I am about what I told you." He said.
Lexi's mind was reeling. She couldn't believe what her father was doing.
"What do you want me to do?" she cried.
"You know, darling," her father said.
"You know exactly what I want." He added.
With that, he hung up, leaving Lexi in tears. She dropped her phone on the bed and let out a wail of despair. She didn't understand why she couldn't do anything she wanted to do. Her life had always been dictated for her, and she faced serious punishment anytime she didn't follow the rules.
As she lay there, crying, Lexi couldn't help but think about all the times her father had controlled her. How he will punish her anytime she did something greater than Victoria, like when she was in the top of her class and Victoria was at the bottom, she was blamed and beaten and the fact that she wasn't even in thesame class with her.
She was tired and frustrated but she didn't even know what to do.
If only her mother was still alive, all this wouldn't be happening, she was sure of that. She stand up and suddenly felt a sharp pain in her belly, she quickly move towards the drawer and took her pain to use, after some minutes she started feeling relief so she went to take her bath.

"Good morning," Lexi greeted the elderly lady, who was already serving breakfast. The woman smiled warmly and replied, "Morning, ma'am."
"You should call me Lexi," Lexi said with a smile, and the woman nodded, her eyes twinkling with kindness.
Just as Lexi was about to start eating, Jameson came downstairs, his hair messy and his clothes wrinkled.
"Why aren't you dressed up?" he asked gruffly, sitting beside her.
"I have no lecture today," Lexi replied, shrugging.
"That's good, then," Jameson said, his eyes scanning her face.
"Because I'm not going to school either. You should get ready, though. I'll be taking you somewhere in the afternoon." He added.
"Where?" she asked curiously.
"You'll see." That's all Jameson said to her.
He carried a plate and was about to head upstairs when he suddenly stopped and turned back to her.
"If anyone comes here, tell them I'm not at home," he said, his eyes serious.
Lexi raised an eyebrow.
"What about Victoria?" she asked, but Jameson's expression didn't change.
"I said anyone, so no matter who it is," he repeated and she nodded.
With that, he finally went upstairs, leaving Lexi to wonder where he was taking her and why he was being so secretive.
As she finished her breakfast, Lexi's phone rang, and she saw Wayne's name flashing on the screen. She sighed frustratedly, feeling annoyed that he had been disturbing her with calls and texts since yesterday. She was tired of it already and just wanted it to stop.
She decided not to pick up and instead went upstairs to get ready for the day. As she was brushing her hair, she couldn't help but wonder where Jameson was taking her and what he had planned. She felt a flutter in her chest, excitement mixed with a little bit of nervousness.

Gemma came down in front of Lexi's mansion, her heart racing with excitement. She had always wanted to visit Lexi's home, and now that she had finally gotten the address, she couldn't wait to see her friend. She pressed the alarm numerous times, but no response came. She waited for a few minutes, thinking that maybe Lexi was busy or not home, but still, no one came to the door. She finally gave up and turned to leave when two cars arrived, and Gemma's eyes widened in surprise. Jordan and Freddie came out of their cars, respectively, and Gemma couldn't believe her eyes. She had heard so much about them from Lexi, but she had never met them in person.
Jordan smiled handsomely at her, and Gemma felt her heart skip a beat.
"Hey," he said, walking towards her.
Gemma stuttered, trying to find her voice.
"Hey...hi...I mean, hello," she chuckled nervously.
Jordan laughed. "It's okay, I'm used to it. Why aren't you in? You're here to see Lexi, right?"
Gemma nodded, still trying to process the fact that she was actually talking to Jordan.
"You know me?" she asked, her voice laced with surprise.
"Of course, you're the only friend our sister-in-law has. Thanks for being there for her always."Jordan said.
"I'm lucky to have her as my friend too."Gemma smiled and look toward Freddie and found him staring at her coldly, she quickly stare at the ground.
Freddie, who had been quiet until now, spoke up.
"Where are they?" his cool voice asked.
Gemma turned to him, feeling a bit intimidated.
"Oh, I don't know. No one answered when I knocked." She said.
"They must have gone somewhere then." Jordan said.
"No point of staying here then" Freddie said and immediately got into his car and drove off.
Gemma watched him go, feeling a bit confused.
"Don't mind him,He's not always free around strangers."Jordan said with a smile.
Gemma nodded, understanding "It's okay, I totally get it."
Jordan smiled again. "See you around then."
Gemma nodded, still feeling a bit starstruck.
"I guess," she muttered as she watched Jordan's car leave.
She got into her own car and drove off, still trying to process the fact that she had just spoke to Jordan and Freddie. She couldn't wait to tell Lexi all about it.

"What are we doing here?" Lexi asked when they arrived in front of a huge mall. She had never seen a mall this big before, and she couldn't help but feel a little awestruck.
"Just follow me," Jameson said. He led her into the mall, and Lexi couldn't help but feel like a lost sheep as she followed him. The staff at the mall started bowing respectfully as soon as they saw Jameson, and Lexi couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.
"We are happy to have you at our mall, Mr. Newton," one of the staff said.
"What would you like us to do for you?" He asked further.
"I want a change of wardrobe for her," Jameson said, pointing at Lexi. "I want her to look perfect."
The staff nodded eagerly and led Lexi into a huge dressing room filled with beautiful dresses. Jameson waited outside, his face stuck in a magazine, while Lexi tried on dress after dress. He rejected the first three dresses she tried on, but he liked the fourth one.
"Take that off," he said, his voice firm. "Try on something else."
Lexi was led back inside and tried on another dress. Jameson rejected that one too, but he liked the sixth dress she tried on.
"Okay, that's the one, that one and that one too," he said, his voice satisfied. "Get her the dresses."
The staff nodded eagerly and started bagging up the dresses. Jameson then took Lexi to the high heel section and picked out some beautiful heels.
"Try these on," he said, his voice commanding.
Lexi tried on the heels and Jameson nodded in approval.
"Get her those heels," he said to the staff.
He then took Lexi to the jewelry section and bought her a lot of beautiful jewelry.
"I want her to look perfect," he said to the staff.
Finally, he took Lexi to the lingerie section and bought her some sexy undies.
"I want her to look perfect, even under her clothes," he said, his voice husky.
Lexi just watched silently as Jameson shopped for her. She couldn't believe how much he was spending on her.
After they finished shopping, Jameson took Lexi to a restaurant to eat dinner. They were both tired, so they just went back home and went to sleep.
As she lay in bed, Lexi couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed. She had never been treated like this before. She couldn't stop remembering Jameson face as he look at her in every dress she wore, though his expression is unreadable, she still like it.
She remember what her father send to her and her mood change, she doesn't understand why he would go to that extent when the whole thing wasn't her fault.
THE NEXT DAY
NEWTON HIGH
It was lunchtime, and the cafeteria was buzzing with students chatting and laughing. Janelle sat alone at her table, her eyes fixed on her food as she pushed it around her plate. She was used to eating alone, and it didn't bother her anymore. But today, something felt different.
As she looked up, she saw Zayne and his group of friends walking towards her. They were the popular kids in school, and everyone knew them. Zayne was the star quarterback, and his friends were all on the team too. They were known for their good looks and their love of partying.
As they approached Janelle's table, the whispering started. People were curious about why Zayne and his friends were going to sit with Janelle. She was a loner, and no one really knew much about her.
"Hey shortie," Zayne said with a smile, sitting down beside her.
Janelle looked up, surprised. "Hey," she replied awkwardly.
Zayne's friends greeted her too, and they all sat down around the table. Janelle felt overwhelmed, but she tried to play it cool.
"So, Janelle, what's up?" Zayne asked, his eyes locked on hers.
"Not much," she replied, she couldn't help but remember him been on top of her, last night.
As they talked, Janelle couldn't help but notice Presley glaring at her from across the table. She had no idea why Presley didn't like her, but it seemed like she never did.
"Wait, are you the Janelle Newton, the daughter of the owner of the school?" Alex, one of Zayne's friends, asked.
Janelle nodded, feeling a little self-conscious.
"Wow, you look so pretty, just like I expected," Alex said, his eyes roaming over her face. "Can I get closer?"
Janelle hesitated, unsure of what to say.
"Come on, girl," Alex said, leaning in closer.
But before he could touch her, Zayne grabbed his arm.
"Let go, shortie," he said, pulling Janelle away from the table. Others watch their back, Presley fist were folded.
As they walked out of the cafeteria, "Where are we going?" Janelle asked.
"To the library," Zayne replied. "You have to learn."
"But I didn't finish my lunch," Janelle complained.
"So you can continue flirting with him?" Zayne asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Nah, I don't think so" he added and went ahead, she rolls her eyes, before running after him.

Gemma's voice echoed through the corridor, her words dripping with disbelief.
"What? Why did you do that?" she yelled, her eyes blazing with frustration.
Lexi groaned, her shoulders slumping in defeat.
"Can you stop screaming, Gemma?" she pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper.
But Gemma was having none of it.
"I can't, Lexie! How could you tell the swimming coach that you're not interested in representing the school?" she demanded, her hands on her hips.
Lexi shrugged, her expression nonchalant. "I just don't feel like it," she said.
Gemma's eyes widened in incredulity. "Wow, did you know the type of benefits you're giving up? You're going to represent our school, which means your life is about to change for the greatest! How could you ruin it? Is it Victoria? Did she threaten you? Tell me so that I can break her head!" Gemma's words tumbled out in a furious rush, her face flushed with anger.
Lexi sighed, her patience wearing thin. "That's not it, Gemma. I just don't like being stressed," she said.
Gemma's expression softened slightly, but her eyes still flashed with disbelief.
"I find it hard to believe because you look like someone who is ready for anything, and I can see how much you like swimming too," she said, her brow furrowed in confusion.
Lexi threw up her hands in frustration. "Can we just forget about it now?" she asked, her voice exasperated.
Gemma nodded reluctantly. "Okay, for now," she said, her eyes still narrowed in suspicion.
But Lexi was already gone, her eyes fixed on Wayne, who was waiting for her by the gate. She had been running from him, avoiding him at all costs, and she wasn't ready to face him now. Not when he had been acting so weird.
"Are you avoiding him?" Gemma asked, her voice laced with curiosity.
Lexi nodded, her heart racing. "Tomorrow," she said, and took off running.
She didn't stop until she reached the gate, where a car suddenly pulled up beside her. Jameson was behind the wheel, his eyes fixed on hers.
"Get in," he said coolly.
Lexi didn't hesitate, jumping into the car and slamming the door shut behind her. As they drove off, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was safe, at least for now.

Jameson had a serious look on his face as he watched Lexi try on all the dresses he had bought for her. He was very satisfied with how good they looked on her body. He didn't know she had such nice curves, both front and back. Her body shape was fire, and he couldn't understand why she would choose to dress like a boy and hide all her curves.
"Let's try it with heels," he said after snapping out of his thoughts.
Lexi's eyes lit up as she moved to the shoes in excitement. She had always wanted to wear heels before, but had never had the chance. She tried to put them on, but struggled.
"Just sit down," Jameson's voice came, and she sat down. He grabbed her cute, pretty leg and wore the heels on them. They fit perfectly.
Lexi was blushing when she felt his hand on her leg. Jameson finally looked at her.
"Now, I want you to walk like a confident lady," he said.
Lexi stood up, took one step, and almost fell, but Jameson caught her.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I have never walked in heels before," she said.
"Wow, It's simple. You should walk gently, okay?" he said, and Lexi nodded.
Jameson guided her around the sitting room, holding her hand.
"Can you walk on your own now?" he asked after sometimes.
"I think I can," Lexi smiled, and Jameson walked to the other end of the sitting room.
"I'll stay here while you walk to me," he said, and Lexi nodded before walking towards him.
As she was about to reach him, she suddenly slipped, and Jameson ran to catch her. They both fell to the ground, with Lexi on top of him. She was literally crushing him, while his hands were around her waist.
