"Jameson, please stop, you will kill him!" Lexi begged, trying to pull Jameson off Wayne. But Jameson was too far gone, his anger blinding him. He continued to punch Wayne, his fists flying furiously.
"Hey, Jameson!" Victoria tried to intervene, but Jameson didn't listen. He just kept punching.
Lexi tried to get between them, but Jameson was too strong. She stumbled back, tears streaming down her face.
Just when it seemed like Jameson was going to kill Wayne, Freddie and Jordan burst into the room. They have actually decided to follow him.
"Shit!" Jordan cursed, as they rushed to separate Jameson and Wayne.
It took both of them to pull Jameson off Wayne, who was now lying on the floor, his face a bloody mess. He still have a smirk on his face he he staggar out of themansion.
Jameson was still fuming, his chest heaving with anger. He storm upstairs and Victoria followed him.
"What the fuck happened?" Jordan asked after he left.
"I don't know, Wayne just showed up, and Jameson lost it." She said tears still streaming down her face.
"I think I know what's going on," Freddie muttered.
"Yeah, you should just go to your room, sister-in-law,He'll have calmed down by tomorrow." Jordan said.
Lexi nodded, still shaking with fear. She deosn't know Jameson's temper can be like this.
As she made her way to her room, she felt a wave of pain wash over her. She almost fell, but managed to crawl to her room. She knew she needed to take her medication, but she was too tired to get up.
She finally fell asleep on the cold floor, the pain and stress of the day overwhelming her.

Victoria was waiting in Jameson's bedroom, growing increasingly impatient as the minutes ticked by. He had been in the bathroom for almost an hour, and all she could hear were his angry grunts and mutterings. She rolled her eyes, wondering what was taking him so long.
Jameson was indeed struggling, his mind consumed by the pictures he had seen on his phone. He couldn't stop staring at them, his anger and hurt boiling over. He didn't know why he was reacting this way, especially since he had never been the possessive type. But something about Lexi's betrayal stung, and he couldn't shake off the feeling.
She must have really like Wayne so much for him to visit her just because she didn't come to school that day, he couldn't believe he actually thought Maybe, just maybe, the marriage could work.
Finally, he emerged from the bathroom, his face twisted in a scowl. He ignored Victoria and went straight to his closet, changing into his pajamas. Victoria waited patiently, her eyes fixed on him with a mixture of concern and annoyance.
When Jameson came back out, she went to hug him.
"I told you she isn't worth it, I told you she's a slut. If you had just listened to me, you wouldn't have had to face all this." She said her voice dripping with fake sympathy.
Jameson pulled away, his expression unyielding.
"You shouldn't call her that, Victoria. I've only seen her with Wayne, unlike the way you and your mom have described her." He said.
Victoria's face twisted in anger.
"Well, that's because you haven't caught her yet. You're still defending her, even after all this?" She yelled.
"I haven't, okay? Can you just leave now? It's getting late."Jameson sighed, his patience wearing thin.
Victoria's eyes flashed with hurt, and she began to fake cry.
"This isn't fair, Jameson. You promised me this marriage wouldn't work, but now you're avoiding me. What did I do wrong? Didn't you find me attractive anymore?" She asked.
Jameson groaned, his head aching from the drama.
"I don't need any of this right now, Victoria. Please just leave me alone." He groan and lay on his bed.
But Victoria wouldn't give up, her cries growing louder and more insistent.
"Jameson, Jameson!" she called out, her voice echoing through the room.
Finally, Jameson had had enough. He covered his body with the duvet and turned away from her.
"Bastard!" Victoria yelled, storming off and slamming the door behind her.
The room was quiet once again, except for Jameson's heavy sighs. He couldn't believe the drama that had just unfolded. He was exhausted, both physically and emotionally. All he wanted was to be left alone, to process his thoughts and figure out what to do next.
THE NEXT MORNING
The loud alarm woke Lexi up from the cold floor, where she had spent the night after the pain she was feeling in her belly. She was sure she would still catch a cold, but she didn't care. She sighed as she remembered what had happened last night and slowly got up from the floor. She went to shower and put on a short and a shirt before heading downstairs.
Jameson was already eating breakfast, and Lexi took a deep breath before coming downstairs. She didn't know what to expect, wondering if Jameson would start acting differently towards her.
"Morning," she greeted nervously and sat opposite him.
"Morning, Lexi," he responded without looking up from his food.
"About yesterday, I didn't..." Lexi started to explain, but Jameson cut her off.
"You don't have to explain anything, Lexi. You can do whatever you want. I don't care. Not like something special is in this marriage anyway" he said calmly.
Lexi's heart hurt badly, she can't believe he said that.
"Yeah, right."she muttered, She had thought maybe their marriage was finally going somewhere, but Jameson's words crushed her hopes.
"Let's just do well at the party tonight, we can't screw it up for anything," Jameson said, and Lexi nodded.
Just then, the doorbell rang, and Lexi went to get it. It was a delivery of two big boxes, one very large with her name written on it, and the other for Jameson.
"This must be from my mum," Jameson scoffed. "I don't know why she likes buying party dresses herself. We could sort ourselves out we are not kids." He scoffed before going upstairs with his own box.
Lexi laughed and took her box upstairs, excited to open it. Inside, she gasped seeing the beautiful red dress, jewelry, heels, and bags. She checked the note inside and smiled happily.
"I picked this for you, daughter. I hope you will like it," the note read.
Lexi felt a warmth in her heart, knowing her mother in law had thought of her. She can't wait to try it on.

LATER IN THE EVENING
Lexi sat opposite a mirror, her face a canvas for the makeup artist's skilled hands. The soft glow of the vanity lights illuminated her features, and the makeup artist's tools danced across her skin with precision. Lexi's eyes sparkled with excitement as she watched her transformation unfold.
Three people some minutes ago, they sent by Mrs. Newton. A man accompanied Jameson to his room, while two ladies followed Lexi. Thanks to Lexi's experience, she was unfazed by the sudden entourage. Her hair was styled in an exquisite updo, adorned with delicate pins and a sprinkle of glittering dust. The jewelry that complemented her red backless dress sparkled in the light, and her heels clicked elegantly on the floor as she was led downstairs.
Jameson awaited her at the bottom of the stairs, resplendent in his black tuxedo. His eyes widened as Lexi descended, her beauty leaving him breathless. His mouth hung open in awe, and he couldn't help but drool slightly as she approached him.
"Jameson?"Her angelic voice snapped him out of his trance.
He shook his head, still gazing at her in wonder.
"You look so beautiful" he found himself saying. A blush appear on her cheeks.
"You look handsome too" she smile. His eyes stay glued on her face as he watches how she smiles.
"Jameson, we are running late" she said.
"Sorry, let's go," he stuttered, wrapping his arm around hers.

As they arrived at the party, their car pulled up in front of the huge hall, and Jameson got out, assisting Lexi as they walked together. All eyes focused on them the moment they made their entrance. The interior of the party was breathtaking, with crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the room. The walls were adorned with intricate artwork, and the floor was covered with a plush red carpet. The sound of music and chatter filled the air, and the scent of delicious food wafted through the hall.
As they entered, they spotted their parents, who came over to hug them.
"You look so beautiful, daughter," Mrs. Newton said, pecking Lexi on the cheeks. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson watched with fake smiles plastered on their faces. Victoria's face turned red with anger as she eyed Lexi up and down with jealousy. Janelle, on the other hand, surprised Lexi with a warm hug.
Wayne's parents also came over, and Janelle tried to avoid Zayne's stare, while Wayne couldn't stop eyeing Lexi up and down. He looked angry, and Lexi wondered what was wrong.
"This is the lawyer, let's approach him," Mr. Thompson said, and they all walked over to an elderly man.
"Wow, is this the Newtons and the Thompsons?" he asked with a smile.
"Yes, it's been a long time, Barrister Laden," Mr. Newton said.
"Yeah, that's true," the old man smiled.
"Meet Lexi and Jameson, they are finally married," Mrs. Newton said with a smile.
"Really, I am glad to hear this," Barrister Laden said, pulling them into a deep hug. The young couple was confused, so they just smiled.
"Your grandparents really knew what they were doing when they told you both to get married," Barrister Laden added.
"Meet my first daughter, Victoria," Mr. Thompson introduced, and Victoria let out her fakest smile.
"You both should visit my office, we have something important to talk about," Barrister Laden said to Jameson, ignoring Mr. Thompson's introduction. Victoria's smile disappeared.
"You must be little Janelle, you have really grown up," Barrister Laden smiled at Janelle, and she bowed.
"We should all enjoy the party then," he said before leaving. The Newtons were smiling, while the Thompsons just frowned. Jameson took Lexi away, and Victoria went to the restroom, where somebody suddenly held her back.
"I don't think your plan worked, because they are here acting like they are in love," Wayne said.
"We should forget about that and focus on today. I have plans already. Anytime you see her going to the restroom, just follow her and do whatever you want with her," Victoria said before storming off.

A CLUB
Jordan waved enthusiastically as Gemma emerged from her car, her short gown accentuating her curves in all the right places. She sashayed over to him, confidence radiating from every step.
"I don't know you're this sexy," Jordan said, his eyes roaming her body with appreciation.
Gemma chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
"Thanks, where's Freddie?" she asked, her gaze scanning the surrounding area.
"He's inside," Jordan replied, gesturing towards the club entrance. As they walked through the crowds, Gemma's presence drew admiring glances from passersby. Jordan noticed Freddie's eyes fixed on her as they approached, a hint of surprise in his expression.
As they sat down.
"Did your friend tell you anything about their marriage?" Jordan asked. Gemma shook her head, her eyes still locked on Freddie.
"No, she didn't," Gemma replied, her brow furrowed in concern.
"I don't think their marriage is going well," Freddie said, his voice low. Jordan nodded in agreement.
"We should do something about it, and we need your help," he added, his eyes pleading with Gemma.
"I'm ready to do anything to make my friends happy," she said.
As the night wore on, Gemma's inhibitions began to fade, and she joined the dancers on the floor. Her sensual moves captivated Jordan and Freddie, their eyes glued to her as she lost herself in the music.
"She is so hot, why am I just noticing that" Jordan said in surprise.
"Because you are slow witted" Freddie scoffed and Jordan stared at him weirdly.

Lexi sat down, watching people around her, some dancing, others talking. Jameson was among a group of his friends, laughing and chatting. A waiter approached her with a glass of alcohol.
"Your husband said I should bring this to you, ma'am," he said with a smile. Lexi accepted it and took a sip, wincing at the bitter taste. But she continued drinking, determined to fit in. She downed the glass and looked towards Jameson, who was still engrossed in conversation. She started to feel weird, her body heating up, and her head spinning. She stood up and made her way to the restroom, Wayne following closely behind.
Victoria smiled from across the room, watching the scene unfold. Lexi splashed water on her face, trying to shake off the dizziness. She wasn't feeling good, her body burning up. She poured more water and wanted to leave, but the door opened, and Wayne came in, closing it behind him. He caged her against the wall, his eyes blazing with intensity.
"Let me go," she muttered weakly.
"I won't," he hissed, his face twisted in anger. "You should pay for this bruise on my face." He started caressing her face, his touch making her skin crawl. Their lips were about to meet when she whispered Jameson's name. "James...Jameson."
Wayne's face turned red with rage.
"How could you call that bastard's name when I am with you?" he yelled, his voice echoing off the restroom walls. He stormed out, leaving Lexi shaken. She fell to the floor, fanning herself, trying to calm down.
.
.
.
Jameson noticed that Lexi hadn't returned from the bathroom, and a hint of concern crept into his mind. He had seen her heading towards the restroom earlier, but now she was taking an unusually long time. He decided to go check on her, wondering if she might be feeling unwell.
As he approached the bathroom door, he heard strange noises coming from inside. He knocked gently,
"Lexi, are you okay?" He asked.
There was no response, but the noises grew louder. Jameson's concern turned to shock as he pushed open the door and found Lexi on the ground, frantically trying to remove her dress.
"What are you doing?" Jameson asked, his voice laced with worry.
"I'm hot, I'm feeling so hot!" Lexi ranted, her cheeks flushed a deep red. "I want to take off my clothes so badly!" She said weakly.
"We should get out of here," Jameson said, his voice low and urgent. He scooped Lexi up in his arms, cradling her like a child, and made his way through the crowded party. People were too engrossed in their own conversations to notice them leaving. Jameson quickly texted their parents, letting them know they were heading home, before zooming off in the car.
As they arrived at the mansion, Lexi was still trying to take off her clothes, but Jameson didn't allow it. He carried her to her room, dropping her onto the bed, and removed her high heels.
"You shouldn't have drunk alcohol when you know you can't handle it," he said, trying to sound stern but failing miserably as he gazed at her in her sexy lingerie.
"Aren't you the one who gave it to me?" Lexi scoffed, her voice slurred, She off her dress, leaving her in her underwear. Jameson's eyes widened, and he stumbled over his words.
"I...I didn't...I don't...know what you are talking about," he stammered, getting carried away by how sexy she looked.
"Whatever," Lexi groaned, her eyes drooping.
"Let me take you to the bathroom," Jameson said, trying to help her up, but she dragged him on top of her, switching positions so she was on top.
"What are you doing?" Jameson asked in shock, trying to process what was happening. Lexi's eyes sparkled mischievously as she gazed up at him.
"Jerk, why didn't you take our marriage seriously?" she yelled at him, her words slurring.
"You are really drunk, Lexi," Jameson said, trying to stand up, but she held him down tightly.
"Jerk, I don't know why my heart always beats faster when I look at you. You are so cruel to me, but you are handsome too. You make me feel things," she said drunkenly, her eyes gazing into his.
"Lexi..." Jameson tried to reason with her, but she cut him off.
"Don't speak," she said, putting her finger on his lip.
"You know that day, I actually thought of kissing you," she said, staring at his lip.
"Lexi, can you just get off? You are not in your right mind," Jameson said, trying to stand up but she held him tightly.
She started leaning in instead, he wanted to stop her but he felt powerless until their lips met in a deep kiss.
