The kiss deepened, and Lexi felt like she was melting into Jameson's arms. She had never felt this way before, and it scared her a little. Her hand slowly moved to his hair, and she started caressing it, lost in the moment.

But then, she heard her name being called, snapping her out of her wild imagination.

"Lexi!"

"Lexi!!"

"Lexi!!!"

She looked at Jameson, who was staring at her worriedly.

"Are you okay?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

"Yeah, sure," she said nervously, trying to brush it off.

"You zoned out," Jameson said, his eyebrows raised.

"What were you thinking about?" He asked.

Lexi's cheeks turned bright red.

"It's nothing." She quickly said, She couldn't believe she was actually thinking about them kissing. How could she? She felt too embarrassed.

Jameson looked at her skeptically but let it go.

"I was asking how you liked the lipsticks. Did you like it, or should I try a pink shade?" He asked.

"Yes, no, I mean I like this one."Lexi stuttered. She laughed nervously, trying to cover up her embarrassment.

"Wow, Lexi, you're all red. Let's just call it a day. We still have tomorrow before the party, so we'll make use of it. You can go and rest now." Jameson said with a smile.

Lexi quickly agreed and ran off, too embarrassed to look at him. She couldn't believe how shameless she was, but it wasn't her fault. Jameson just looked really handsome, and she really wanted to kiss him.

As she lay on her bed, she noticed she was feeling a slight pain in her belly, like always. She got up to take her pill before going to the bathroom.

As she looked at herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but think about Jameson and how much she wanted to kiss him. She felt so ashamed, but at the same time, she really wanted to try it. She touch her lip and smiled.

Jameson had just finished his shower and was walking out of the bathroom, towel-drying his hair. As he entered his bedroom, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He was still grinning as he thought about the look on Lexi's face earlier. She had been staring at him with this adorable expression, her lips puckered out like she was expecting a kiss. It was as if she was thinking about kissing him, and that realization made Jameson's curiosity piqued.

He lay down on his bed, still smiling to himself.

"Cute," he muttered, shaking his head in amusement. He could still picture Lexi's embarrassed face, her cheeks flushed red despite the blush she was wearing. Jameson's phone suddenly started ringing, breaking his reverie. He groaned when he saw Victoria's name on the screen.

"Why can't she just leave me alone?" Jameson exclaimed, throwing the phone off the bed. He didn't feel like dealing with Victoria's drama right now. He was still basking in the warmth of his interaction with Lexi.

As he lay there, Jameson's mind began to wander. He thought about how different Lexi was from Victoria. Lexi was sweet and genuine, whereas Victoria was manipulative and controlling. Jameson realized he was tired of Victoria's games and decided he needed to take a break from her.

Just then, his phone buzzed again. Jameson sighed and picked it up, hoping it wasn't Victoria calling back. But to his surprise, it was a text from Lexi.

"Hey, thanks for the makeup tips today! You're a natural."

Jameson's heart skipped a beat as he read the message. He couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest.

"You're welcome, Lexi" he replied, smiling to himself. He was excited to see where things might go with Lexi.

Victoria threw her phone on the bed and started pacing around her room, feeling a mix of anger and frustration. She couldn't believe Jameson was really ignoring her, refusing to even say anything to her and finding every excuse to avoid her. It was like he had completely written her off, and it hurt.

As she paced, a message suddenly appeared on her phone. It was from an unknown number.

"This is Wayne," the message read.

Victoria's heart skipped a beat as she hesitated for a moment before responding.

"What do you want?" she texted back.

"I want Lexi. I'm into your plan. What should I do?"The response came quickly.

"Let's meet in school tomorrow," Victoria texted back, a smile spreading across her face. Maybe, just maybe, things would finally work out in her favor.

As she waited for Wayne's response, Victoria couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had been feeling so helpless and angry, but now she had a plan. And with Wayne on board, she knew she could count on him to help her get what she wanted.

"Okay, I'll be there," Wayne responded. "What's the plan?"

Victoria's mind raced as she thought about what she wanted to do. She knew she had to be careful, but she also knew she had to act fast. Jameson wasn't going to wait around forever, and she needed to make sure she had a plan in place before he made his move.

"Let's talk about it tomorrow," Victoria texted back. "But trust me, it's going to be good."

As she put her phone down and lay back on her bed, Victoria couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, things were finally starting to look up.

THE NEXT DAY

Lexi took a deep breath before entering the hospital, the familiar scent of antiseptic and freshly laundered linens enveloping her as she walked through the doors. She had been here many times before, and it was like a second home to her. She made her way straight to Doctor Daniel's office, her family's trusted physician for years.

She knocked on the door, and when she heard his warm "Come in!" she entered, finding him scribbling notes on a patient's file.

"Morning, Doctor!" she greeted, her smile bright.

Doctor Daniel looked up, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled.

"Wow, Lexi! It's been a while! Are you here for another prescription refill?" He asked.

Lexi nodded, taking a seat in the chair opposite his desk. "Yeah, but I also wanted to talk to you about something."

Doctor Daniel's expression turned serious. "What's going on, Lexi? You know you can tell me anything."

Lexi hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"The pain in my belly... it used to come and go, maybe once a month or two. But now, it's almost every day. I don't know what's wrong with me." She said.

Doctor Daniel's brow furrowed in concern. "I believe you're stressing yourself, Lexi. You know your condition – you can't afford to be stressed. And I hope you're not eating anything you shouldn't be?" He asked.

Lexi shook her head. "No, Doctor, I'm not. But maybe the stressedcan do it. I'll take care of myself." she said.

Doctor Daniel nodded, scribbling some notes on a pad. "I'll give you a new medicine to take with your regular pills every day. I'm sure it'll help. And I'll run some tests and check-ups to see if there's anything else going on." He said.

Lexi smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. "Thanks, Doc."

As she left the hospital with her new prescription.

"I'll send the test results to you as soon as they're ready" he said.

Lexi smiled and waved, feeling grateful for the kind doctor who had been like a guardian angel to her family for years.

And then, just as she was about to leave, Doctor Daniel added,

"Oh, and congratulations on your marriage, Lexi!" she just smiled before leaving.

.

.

.

Jameson knocked gently on Lexi's door, and she emerged already dressed for school. But Jameson had other plans.

"You won't be going to school today," he said, his eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint.

"What? Why?"Lexi looked at him in surprise.

"Tomorrow is the party, Can you even walk confidently in heels?"Jameson chuckled.

Lexi looked down, her cheeks flushing.

"I can't," she admitted.

"I knew it. You need to learn to walk with confidence, and I'm here to help you." He sat down on the couch, patting the space beside him. "Come here, I'll show you."

Lexi hesitated, but Jameson's encouraging smile put her at ease. She walked over to him, her steps awkward in her sneakers. Jameson corrected her posture, her stride, and her foot placement. At first, Lexi felt silly, but Jameson's patient guidance helped her relax.

As they practiced, Jameson's eyes never left hers, his gaze intense but kind. Lexi felt a flutter in her chest, but she pushed it aside, focusing on her walking.

Finally, after what felt like an hour, Jameson nodded in approval.

"You're getting it, Lexi! You just need to practice."

Lexi smiled.

"I don't know maybe you can walk like this in heel yet, but Now, let's try something else." He pulled out the sexy bikini he had bought for her. "Try this on."Jameson grinned.

Lexi's eyes widened in horror.

"I don't want to, i don't think I need it tomorrow, though." She said.

"Who knows? Just try it on."Jameson chuckled.

Lexi hesitated, but Jameson's enthusiasm was infectious. She took the bikini and headed to the bedroom, her heart racing. When she emerged a few minutes later, Jameson's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"Wow," he breathed.

"Is it bad, should I take it off?" She asked nervously.

"No, it's perfect" he muttered, he just doesn't understand why she will choose to dress as a guy. His intense stare make her uncomfortable so she quickly run back to her room to change.

Gemma sat alone in the cafeteria, nursing a bowl of soup and feeling a little lost without Lexi by her side. She missed her friend and she didn't even know why Lexi didn't come to school. Just as she was starting to feel like the only person in the world, she heard a commotion behind her.

"Wow, it's the Super boys!" someone whispered.

"Where is Jameson?"

"Freddie is just effortless handsome.

"Jordan is freaking hot, I love him. The students keep whispering.

Gemma turned to see Freddie and Jordan walking towards her, their usual confident swagger on full display. They didn't usually come to the cafeteria, so Gemma was surprised when they sat down at her table.

"Hey Gem," Jordan said with a smile, and Gemma returned it, feeling a little shy.

"Where's your sister-in-law?" Jordan asked, nodding towards Lexi's empty chair.

"She's not in school today. She didn't even tell me beforehand."Gemma pouted.

"Same with Jameson," Freddie muttered, his eyes fixed on his book.

"Are they having fun without us?" Jordan joked, and Gemma laughed.

Just then, Gemma remembered her encounter with Sweeney at the mall.

"Hey Freddie, how's Sweeney?" she asked.

Freddie looked up from his book.

"She's good." He muttered.

"Wait, how do you know Sweeney?"Jordan raised an eyebrow.

Gemma explained her run-in with Sweeney at the mall, and Jordan listened intently.

"Oh," he said.

"She's adorable, I like her," Gemma said, glancing at Freddie, who was staring at her again. She felt a flutter in her chest and quickly looked away.

"She's definitely one of a kind. Unlike her brother"Jordan chuckled.

Gemma laughed, but it was cut short when she felt Freddie's gaze on her again. She groaned internally, wondering why he wouldn't just stop staring.

As they continued to chat, Gemma couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious under Freddie's intense gaze.

"Where should we go tomorrow?" Jordan asked.

"Maybe a club, I have been willing to go there with a friend" Gemma said.

"Cool then, I will call you, Freddie are you..."

"I am coming" Freddie cut Jordan off. Gemma smile secretly.

NEWTON HIGH

As Janelle walked into the cafeteria, she could feel the weight of everyone's gaze upon her. The news of her relationship with Zayne must have spread like wildfire, and she was nervous about how people would react. She saw Dalia sending her a mocking glance from across the room, and her stomach twisted with anxiety.

But then, she heard Zayne's booming voice call out,

"My Shortie!" and everywhere went quiet. All eyes were on her as she made her way to Zayne's table, her heart pounding in her chest.

Zayne collected her lunch and dropped it on the table before pecking her lip, and the student gasped in shock. Presley looked like she was about to burst a blood vessel, her face red with anger.

"Students, meet my Heart," Zayne announced.

"I want you all to respect her. You will hate me if you make her sad." He dropped her onto his lap, and Janelle felt like she was on display.

Zayne started feeding her, and his friends watched in stunned silence.

"You don't really have to go this extra mile."Janelle whispered to Zayne.

But Zayne just smiled.

"We should, in order to convince them, I am going to kiss you now"He whispered back And before she could protest, his lips slammed onto hers, and he started eating her up like he was starving.

Presley stormed out of the cafeteria, looking like she was about to explode. Dalia almost fainted from where she was watching, her eyes wide with shock.

As Janelle went to her next class, some students started greeting her, and when she sat down in her seat, a group of girls surrounded her, asking her questions and vying for her attention. Some even asked to be her friend.

Janelle was overwhelmed but tried to be gracious, answering their questions and smiling politely. She couldn't believe how much things had changed in just one day.

As she walked down the hallway, she felt like a celebrity, with everyone staring and pointing. She just wanted to blend in and go unnoticed, but that was impossible now.

Zayne's public display of affection had marked her as his territory, and everyone knew it. She just hoped she could handle the attention and the drama that came with it.

Lexi was the only one at the mansion since went out about an hour ago, she suddenly hear the sound of the doorbell and went to open the door. She was shock to see Wayne standing at the doorway. She immediately regret not checking before opening.

"What are you doing here?" She asked nervously.

"So this is really your place" he said and pull her into a hug.

"Wayne let me go" she struggles to get out of his grip but he was strong, he even kissed her forcefully. She wiggle and wiggle before he finally released her, he went to sit on the couch like a boss.

"You really have a nice place, you both are enjoying" He laughed.

"What did you want from me?" Lexi asked sadly.

"I have told you a lot of times and I am sure you know it, cute Lexi" he smile.

"Lexi, I am married it now, so it can't work" she said.

"You can get a divorce, I will help you with that" he said.

"I love my husband, I don't want to leave him" she yelled.

"So you are admitting you love him, I saw that bastard with your sister on my way here, they are all over each other, people didn't know you are married, did you even know where they went to right now? A date, in couple attires" Wayne said.

"I don't care" she muttered.

.

.

.

"Why won't you pick your call?" Freddie groaned, covering the book he was reading. Jameson and Jordan were playing Snooker, and Jameson's phone had been ringing nonstop.

"It's Vicky," Jameson groaned. "I don't want to speak to her."

"Then just switch off your phone," Jordan scoffed.

Jameson picked up his phone and saw a text from Victoria.

"I am in your mansion, but you are not around. Where are you?" He rolled his eyes and was about to switch off the phone when another text came in.

"You may want to see this. Your wife is having fun with her boyfriend." It was accompanied by two photos - one of Wayne and Lexi kissing and another of them hugging.

Jameson's mood changed immediately. He felt a surge of anger and betrayal.

"I have to go," he said to his friends.

Jordan and Freddie exchanged confused glances.

"What's going on?" Jordan asked, but Jameson was already storming off.

.

.

.

"Wayne, please, just leave," Lexi pleaded, her voice shaking with desperation. She had tried everything in her power to get him to leave, but he refused to budge.

"What did you think people will say if they find us like this?" She asked.

"Do you think I care if anybody finds us like this?" Wayne scoffed, his eyes gleaming with a menacing intensity.

"I'll call the cops right now and report you," Lexi said, her hand trembling as she pulled out her phone.

"Okay, I'm leaving," Wayne said, standing up and towering over her before she could dial the number.

"That doesn't mean I am giving up though" he said.

"Just leave Wayne" she said.

But Wayne didn't move. Instead, he took a step closer to her, his eyes blazing with anger.

That's when the door burst open and Jameson stormed in, his face twisted in rage.

"What the hell are you doing in my house and with my wife?" he thundered, his fists clenched.

Wayne turned to face him, a sneer still on his face.

"What did you think i am doing?" He smirked.

"You bastard" Jameson said angrily and launched himself at Wayne, punching him in the face and sending him crashing to the floor.

Lexi watched in horror as Jameson rained down blows on Wayne's bloody face, her mind racing with fear and confusion. She didn't know what to do, didn't know how to stop Jameson's fury.
