Jameson's eyes locked onto hers, and he couldn't help but feel a spark of attraction. Lexi's face was inches from his, and he could feel her breath on his skin.

"Sorry," Lexi whispered, her cheeks red. Jameson smiled and helped her up.

"It's okay. Let's try again," he said.

Lexi nodded, and they continued practicing walking in heels. Jameson couldn't help but notice how beautiful Lexi looked in the dresses and heels. He was glad he had bought them for her.

"You're really trying, soon you'll be a pro," Jameson said.

Lexi smiled, looking pleased with herself. "Thanks, Jameson. I couldn't have done it without your help."

Jameson smiled back. As they stood there, Jameson realized that he was having a great time with Lexi. He hadn't expected to enjoy himself so much, but he was glad he had.

"Tomorrow is something different, I hope you'll be ready," Jameson said.

"I am always," she smiled.

"Good then," he muttered before going upstairs.

Lexi packed all the dresses and went upstairs too. The moment she threw them on the bed, she felt a serious pain in her belly. She grabbed it and gasped in pain.

"Why is the pain getting worse lately? It doesn't used to happen occasionally," she groaned and walked to the drawer. There were only five pills left in the bottle.

"I really need to see Doctor Daniel," she muttered after throwing a pill into her mouth. She moved to the bed and lay down.

She didn't want to think about her problem, so her mind wandered to how she had dressed up in a pretty dress and even worn heels. She remembered the way Jameson had treated her gently today and how she had felt on him. She also remembered how she got carried away while staring at his lips. She smiled with red cheeks, and soon she forgot about the pain she was feeling in her abdomen.

As she lay there, she couldn't help but feel grateful for Jameson's help and support. She had never felt this way about anyone before, and it scared her a little. But she couldn't deny the way she felt.

After a while, Lexi drifted off to sleep, her mind filled with thoughts of Jameson and the fun they had together.

THE NEXT DAY

Lexi and Gemma were walking to their class, chatting and laughing, when suddenly Victoria and her friend appeared out of nowhere, blocking their path. The attention of the people around them drew to the scene, and Lexi could feel the eyes on her.

"What do you want, Victoria?" Lexi asked calmly.

"I heard you backed out of the swimming competition," Victoria said, her voice dripping with mockery.

"Thought you were a great swimmer, but I guess you're just a coward." She mocked.

Lexi felt a surge of anger, but she kept her cool. Victoria was the one responsible for all this but she is here acting like she know nothing about it.

"Not today, Victoria," she said, her eyes locked on hers.

"What, you're not going to fight me? I'm disappointed. I was hoping for a little entertainment."Victoria sneered.

Gemma stepped in, "We're not interested in your games, Victoria. Let us pass" she said.

But Victoria didn't move. "Oh, I'm just getting started. I wanted to tell you how glad I am to hear you've given up. I'll make sure to represent the school well and not back out like a coward." Victoria mocked.

Victoria's friend snickered, and the people around them started whispering. Lexi could hear the comments:

"Did she really back out? I thought she was a good swimmer... what a coward."

"Is she crazy or what? I would never do that."

"I can't believe I started liking her... what a disappointment."

Victoria laughed, clearly enjoying the attention. This is what she was expecting. When someone acts like this, it's easy to turn people against them.

Gemma grabbed Lexi's arm and pulled her away.

As they walked away, Lexi could feel the eyes on her and she hate attention so much.

"Don't even look at them, don't listen to what they are saying too, they should try if it is easy"Gemma scoffed.

"Thanks" Lexi smile.

"What's her deal, I can clearly see she dislikes you so much, but what's her reason?" Gemma asked, curiosity etched on her face.

Lexi didn't respond, just followed Gemma with a quiet nod.

"I think I know," Gemma said, her voice filled with empathy.

"You married her boyfriend, every girl in her right sense would hate you too." She added.

"She's also my stepsister too."Lexi muttered under her breath.

Gemma's eyes widened in surprise.

"Wow, this is bad. She must feel betrayed." Gemma said.

Lexi shrugged, her shoulders barely moving.

"You have no idea. It's something I can't control." She said.

"But that doesn't mean she can treat you like this. It wasn't your fault too. Instead of blaming you, what about her boyfriend? Or you parent? She's unbelievable. Don't tell me you gave up on swimming because of her?"Gemma frowned.

"No, it's not."Lexi shook her head. She is not ready to tell anyone what was going on in her family.

"Whatever, I wouldn't stay still anymore if she tries anything with you." Gemma said seriously.

Just then, Jameson and his friend approached them.

"We need to talk," Jameson said, and took Lexi away.

Gemma watched them go, then turned to Jordan, who was smiling at her.

"Hey, Gem." He said.

Gemma smiled back, feeling a flutter in her chest.

"Oh, hi." She said.

She glanced at Freddie, who was still engrossed in his book.

"How about we go out sometimes and have fun together as couple friends?" Jordan asked.

Gemma's heart skipped a beat.

"I'd like that." She said.

"Awesome! I'll set it up."Jordan grinned.

"Fred, are you interested?" Jordan asked. Freddie looked up from his book, his eyes meeting Gemma's. She quickly looked down, feeling a blush rise to her cheeks.

"Don't know." Freddie shrugged before walking away.

"That cold brat."Jordan scoffed and run after him.

Gemma smiled, watching them leave. She couldn't believe she was going to hang out with them, and that Jordan had given her a nickname - Gem.

Janelle was walking back to her class, lost in thought, when someone suddenly put their leg out, blocking her path. She stopped walking and looked up to see Dalia, a girl in her class, smirking at her. Dalia was the opposite of Janelle - popular, outgoing, and loved by everyone. But Janelle knew the truth - Dalia and her friends loved to mock her, and the whole class joined in.

"What do you want now?" Janelle asked, trying to hide her annoyance.

"Is it true that you ate lunch with senior Zayne and his friends?" Dalia asked curiously.

Janelle didn't respond and tried to leave, but Dalia dragged her back.

"Did you seduce him? That's the only reason he'd sit with you. He'll only fuck you, senior Zayne doesn't date, especially not with a loser like you." Dalia said annoyingly.

Janelle felt a surge of anger but tried to keep her cool.

"Then you'll be really disappointed," she smirked.

"What are you talking about?" Dalia asked, confusion etched on her face.

"Zayne and I have been dating for a month now," Janelle said, trying to sound confident.

Dalia burst out laughing. "What? You expect me to believe that crap? It can never happen!" She snapped.

"You can believe what you want" Janelle said.

She smiled sweetly at Dalia and started to leave, but as soon as she turned away, her smile disappeared.

"What have I done? Am I crazy? How could I say that?" she whispered to herself, her heart racing.

She entered her class, trying to compose herself, but within minutes, the news had already spread. Students were whispering and staring at her, and she knew it would be all over the school by tomorrow.

"Am dead," she groaned, dropping her head on the table.

As the class went on, Janelle couldn't focus. She knew she had made a huge mistake. Why had she lied about dating Zayne? Now everyone would think she was delusional or attention-seeking. She just wanted to go back in time and take it all back.

It was closing time, and almost everyone had left. Lexi had gone to the library to study, which is why she was so late. As she moved through the corridor, she suddenly saw Wayne. She wanted to hide, but he had already seen her. She wasn't expecting him to be in school.

"Are you avoiding me?" he asked, moving closer to her.

Lexi laughed nervously and looked around the corridor. No one was around, and she almost felt like running.

"Cute Lexi, you're driving me really crazy," he said seriously.

"Wayne, I told you things can't work between us. Please, let's go back to the time when we were still friends," Lexi said, trying to reason with him.

"Friends suck, Lexi. I want to be more than that. I want you to love me, be with me every damn time," he yelled, his voice echoing off the lockers.

"I can't do that, Wayne. I'm really sorry," she apologized, trying to calm him down.

"Why? Don't tell me you love that bastard already?" Wayne asked, his eyes narrowing.

Lexi didn't respond. She didn't know what to say. She just stare at the ground.

"Wow, that's so low of you, Lexi. He doesn't even deserve you. The bastard has a girlfriend, who is also your sister, but you'll choose him over me, who has been by your side like forever?" he yelled, his face red with anger.

"I am sorry," she apologized again, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes.

"Stop saying sorry, Lexi. Stop, okay? Because no matter how much you say sorry, that wouldn't change my mind. I will never allow Jameson Newton to take you away from me," he said, his voice cold and determined.

With that, he stormed off, leaving Lexi standing alone in the corridor, breathing in and out in shock. She couldn't believe this was the same Wayne she had known for months. He had always been friendly and supportive, but now he seemed possessive and angry.

Gemma was pushing her shopping cart through the aisles, carefully selecting the items she needed for the week. As a half-Spanish, half-American living alone in the US, she was used to relying on herself. Her parents were back in Spain, and she had grown accustomed to independence. But when she opened her fridge that Afternoon, she was greeted by a bleak emptiness. Hence, the trip to the supermarket.

As she reached for a box of cereal, she felt a gentle tug on her pant leg. Looking down, she saw a pretty little girl staring up at her with big brown eyes.

"Can you get me the chocolate bar, Miss?" the girl asked, pointing to the top shelf.

Gemma smiled and retrieved the chocolate bar, handing it to the girl.

"Here you go!" She said.

"Thanks!" the girl said, smiling prettily.

"Wow, how old are you?"Gemma couldn't help but ask.

"Three!" the girl replied, holding up three fingers.

"You're so cute! What's your name?" Gemma asked, crouching down to the girl's level.

"Sweeney," the girl said, her eyes sparkling.

Gemma's heart melted. "Wow, Sweeney, nice to meet you! I'm Gemma."

The girl just smiled and looked up at Gemma with adoring eyes.

Gemma glanced around, wondering where the girl's parents were.

"Where is your mom? Are you alone?" she asked.

Just then, a voice called out from behind them. "Sweeney!"

They both turned to see a familiar face approaching. Gemma's eyes widened in surprise.

"Brother!" Sweeney exclaimed, running to hug the person.

Gemma's eyes met Freddie's, and she felt a flutter in her chest. She hadn't expected to run into him here!

"You shouldn't go around this place alone," Freddie said, scooping up Sweeney.

"You should stay beside me." He said.

"Okay, Brother" Sweeney smile.

"Gemma" Freddie call coolly.

"Hey Freddie, your sister is really pretty" she said nervously.

"She is, thanks for your help" he said and turn to go. Sweeney wave at Gemma behind her brother and Gemma wave back with a smile. She went to her shopping with a smile on her face, she didn't know that Freddie actually know her name.

NIGHTTIME

Janelle stood in front of her window, staring at Zayne's mansion next door. She gazed up at his room, wondering if he was in. Suddenly, she heard the sound of her door closing and turned to see Zayne standing in her room.

"Are you looking for me?" he smirked.

"No, what are you doing here?" Janelle asked, surprised.

"My parents are with your parents downstairs, so I came to your room instead," Zayne said, shrugging.

Janelle sat down on her bed, and Zayne joined her, bringing out her textbook.

"Should we do a little lesson?" he asked, and Janelle nodded.

"Zayne, can you be my boyfriend?"Janelle suddenly asked,As they studied.

"What are you talking about?"Zayne looked surprised.

"You said you could teach me all I need to learn, right? How about you pretend to be my boyfriend, even if it's just for a month? I would have learned then."Janelle explained.

"What makes you want to do that?"Zayne raised an eyebrow.

Janelle hesitated before answering, "Because I really need to know those things. I don't want people thinking I'm a weirdo."

"You should tell me the real reason" Zayne pressed.

"Okay, I kinda told someone in my class today that you're my boyfriend, and now it's everywhere. If they find out I'm lying, it's gonna be really bad."Janelle confessed.

"So, will you help me?" She asked with a cute pout.

"I'm in. But we have to make it real, though."Zayne grinned mischievously.

Janelle nodded, and Zayne moved closer, pecking her on the lips. Janelle's cheeks turned red.

"Why did you do that?"she asked.

"It's part of the deal."Zayne smirked.

"But no one is Here" She scoffed.

"You said I should teach, I can't do that in front of people" he said and peck her again.

Lexi sat in front of a mirror, with Jameson standing behind her.

"Today is less stressful,I'm just going to show you how to take care of your face as a girl. It's going to start from your hair to your face." He said while looking at her face through the mirror.

"How did you know all this?"Lexi couldn't help but ask.

"Janelle, I have to take care of her because my parents are barely around. I help her style her hair and learn how to do makeup because of her."Jameson replied.

Lexi's eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh, what about now? I mean, your parents?" She asked.

"I guess they're getting old because they've been around for years now. Janelle didn't like it though, because all their focus was now on her."Jameson explained.

"Poor girl."Lexi sympathized.

She couldn't believe they were having a conversation like this. Jameson started styling her hair, and he was really good at it. He made four different styles before finding the one he liked best.

"Maybe you should have been a fashion designer, hair stylist and a make-up artist instead," Lexi joked.

"I can't. I'm studying Business Administration since I'll be taking over my father's company."Jameson chuckled and it sound like a melodious song in her ears.

He did her eyeliner and eyebrow, adding a touch of blush to her cheeks.

"How do you see it?" he asked.

Lexi gazed at her reflection,

"It's beautiful." She said sincerely, she couldn't believe that was her reflection.

"Good."Jameson smiled.

He put on earrings and a necklace for her.

"Now, let's add lipstick," he said, bringing out a red shade.

As he applied the lipstick, Lexi's eyes were fixed on his face. He looked up, and their eyes met for a moment before his eyes went back to her lips which now look really attractive thanks to the red lipstick.

"Can I kiss you?" he asked suddenly, his eyes locked on hers.

Lexi's heart skipped a beat as she processed his question. She swallowed hard, her mind racing with thoughts.

"Lexi?" Jameson prompted, his voice low and gentle.

She looked up at him, her eyes searching for answers. And then, without thinking, she nodded.

Jameson's eyes lit up with a soft smile, and he leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a gentle kiss.

Lexi felt a spark of electricity run through her body, he deepened the kiss and his palm wrap around her face as he eat her up her lips.
