(HIS MAID)
After some minutes, Lexi finally worked up the courage to leave the car and approach the mansion. She walked slowly, her mind still reeling from the shocking news she had heard earlier that day. The living room was quiet, the only sound the soft hum of the TV. Lexi assumed the maid had already gone home and Jameson was probably in his room.
She climbed the stairs, her legs heavy with exhaustion, and stood in front of Jameson's door. For a moment, she considered knocking, but then changed her mind and went to her own room instead.
Once inside, she quickly changed into her pajamas and approached her bed, but as she reached for the covers, a sudden pain shot through her belly. She gasped, her eyes wide with shock, and grabbed her stomach. The pain was intense, like a knife twisting inside her.
Lexi tried to take a step, but her legs gave out beneath her. She fell to the ground, her body wracked with sobs. The pain was unbearable, like nothing she had ever experienced before. She curled up on the floor, her arm wrapped tightly around her belly, and started crawling towards the dresser.
It seemed like an eternity before she finally reached the drawer. Her hand trembled as she pushed it open and searched inside for the pills bottle. She found it and pulled it out, her hands shaking as she opened it. She threw one into her mouth and swallowed, hoping for relief.
As she lay there, the pain slowly started to subside. Lexi's eyes grew heavy, and she felt herself losing consciousness. She tried to fight it, but it was no use. The last thing she remembered was the feeling of darkness closing in around her.

Lexi slowly turned her head, wincing in pain as her temple hit the bed stand. She groggily opened her eyes, realizing she was still on the floor. She must have fallen asleep there after taking the pills. With a groan, she sat up and rubbed her sore head. She needed to get moving if she wanted to make it to school on time.
She stumbled to her feet and picked up the pills bottle from the floor. She took another one, hoping it would help with the pain, and then put the bottle back in the drawer. Checking the time, she let out a frustrated groan. She was running late, and she had a lecture first thing in the morning.
Rushing into the bathroom, she quickly washed her face and brushed her hair. She hurriedly dressed in the first clothes she found on the floor and ran downstairs. Jameson was already eating dinner, his eyes fixed on his plate. Lexi's heart skipped a beat as she gazed at him, taking in his chiseled features and piercing blue eyes. As always, he took her breath away.
Jameson glanced up at her, his expression irritated. "Are you going to stop staring at me and eat?" he snapped.
Lexi quickly looked away, feeling her face heat up. She focused on her food, trying to eat quickly so she could catch up with Jameson. But by the time she finished, he was already gone.
"Wait!" she called out, but he didn't respond.
Her driver was already waiting for her outside, and he quickly drove her to school. Lexi sighed in frustration, wondering why Jameson was being so distant and cold. She knew she had to talk to him.

Wayne was already waiting at the parking lot when Lexi arrived, his eyes lighting up with a warm smile as he waves towards her. She smiles back, feeling a sense of comfort and familiarity as she approaches him.
"Are you okay?" Wayne asks, his eyes glued to her face, his palms cradling her cheeks. "I am okay, I'm just stressed," Lexi replies, trying to downplay her worries.
Wayne's expression turns concerned, his thumbs stroking her cheeks. "You have to call me when you need my help, okay?" he says, his voice filled with genuine care.
Lexi nods, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Wayne. He leans in to peck her on the lips, but she turns her face, and he ends up pecking her on the cheek instead. He looks slightly upset but quickly recovers with a smile.
"Should we go and have some fun?" Wayne asks, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"I have class in a few minutes, so I can't," Lexi replies, trying to gently let him down.
"Can't you skip it for me?" Wayne asks, his voice laced with persuasion.
"I can't," Lexi says firmly, starting to walk away.
"Let me escort you to class then," Wayne says, wrapping his arm around her neck, his hand resting on her shoulder. Lexi feels a sense of unease as students start to stare at them, but she doesn't want to hurt Wayne's feelings by telling him to stop.
As they walk, Wayne chatters excitedly about his plans for the day, but Lexi's mind is elsewhere. She's worried about Jameson, all she could think of is him.
Wayne notices her distraction and squeezes her shoulder. "Hey, are you okay?" he asks, his voice filled with concern.
Lexi forces a smile, not wanting to burden Wayne with her worries. "I'm fine, just stressed," she repeats, trying to reassure him.
Wayne nods, but his eyes linger on her face, as if trying to read her expression. Lexi feels a pang of guilt for not being more present in the moment, but she can't help but feel preoccupied with her thoughts.

"Are you going to tell us what's going on with you?" Jordan asked again, his voice laced with concern.
"I told you guys, I'm okay," Jameson scoffed, his eyes fixed on the floor.
"You're not, you're surprisingly quiet," Freddie added, his brow furrowed in worry.
Jameson let out a deep sigh and rubbed his temples. "Can you both just leave me alone?" he groaned.
Jordan and Freddie exchanged a knowing glance. They had been friends with Jameson for years and could tell when something was bothering him.
Just then, Jordan's gaze drifted to the corridor, where Wayne and Lexi were walking together.
"Wow, this is awesome. Wayne is really having fun," Jordan said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Are they really dating?" Freddie asked, his eyes wide with curiosity.
"I don't think so. They might just be friends," Jordan replied, his eyes still fixed on the pair.
"That's true, but they are really close," Freddie said, a sly grin spreading across his face.
Jameson, who had been quietly seething, suddenly stood up.
"I'll be in my office. No one is invited," he announced, his voice firm.
Jordan and Freddie watched in surprise as Jameson stormed off, his long strides carrying him quickly away.
"Does he really have an office in the school?" Freddie asked, his eyes wide with wonder.
"Yeah, he's like a mini principal or something," Jordan replied with a chuckle.
As they watched Jameson disappear around the corner, Freddie turned to Jordan.
"Do you think he's bothered by their closeness?" He asked.
Jordan nodded.
"I don't think, I know. You should have seen his face during that game some days ago." He smirked.
"I thought I was the only one who saw it. It was kinda cute seeing how jealous he was" Freddie laughed.
"It's never gonna work until he realizes it himself and stays away from that witch, Victoria."Jordan's expression turned serious.
"Yeah" Freddie nodded in agreement.

Lexi walked into the classroom, scanning the room for a familiar face. She spotted Gemma and made her way over, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. Gemma smiled broadly and opened her arms, enveloping Lexi in a warm hug.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" Gemma exclaimed. "I was worried sick about you. What happened that day? Jameson really grabbed your hand and took you to his car?"
Lexi nodded sheepishly, knowing she was in for a serious questioning.
"Yeah, it's nothing though," she muttered, trying to downplay the situation.
Gemma's eyes widened in disbelief.
"What do you mean it's nothing? Thousands of girls would die to be in your shoes! Jameson is like, the most popular and richest guy in school." Gemma said and Lexi rolls her eyes.
"It's not really what you're thinking, Gemma. He just asked me something, that's all."Lexi sighed, feeling a sense of frustration.
"Asked you something? Like what? If you'll go out with him?"Gemma raised an eyebrow.
"No, it's not like that. He got a girlfriend, remember, He just...never mind. It's complicated."Lexi shook her head.
"I think there's a lot you're not telling me, Lexi. Aren't we friends? Don't you trust me?"Gemma pouted, looking hurt.
Lexi felt a pang of guilt, knowing she wasn't being entirely honest with Gemma. But she wasn't ready to reveal everything just yet.
"Gemma, I promise I'll tell you everything soon. Just not right now, okay?" Lexi pleaded.
Gemma nodded reluctantly, but her expression said she wasn't buying it. "We'll talk later," she whispered, as the teacher walked into the classroom.
Lexi nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew she had to confide in Gemma eventually, but for now, she was grateful for the reprieve.

NEWTON HIGH
"Janelle, you're needed in the head office," the class president announced, their voice dripping with malice.
Janelle's eyes narrowed as she stood up, her long, curly brown hair bouncing with each step. She could feel the weight of her classmates' gazes on her, their whispers and snickers following her like a shadow.
"Is the arrogant bitch in trouble?" one of her classmates asked, their voice laced with venom.
"I think so," another girl replied, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Good for her, though. She deserves it."
The class erupted in laughter, and Janelle's face burned with embarrassment. She had grown accustomed to their taunts, but it still stung. She didn't have any friends in her class, none in school, really. They all saw her as a spoiled brat, a rich girl who thought she was above everyone else.
But that wasn't true. Janelle had tried to make friends before, but they always seemed to want something from her - her money, her influence, her connections. So she had given up, content to fly solo.
As Janelle walked into the head office, she couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash over her. She had no idea what this meeting was about, but she had a feeling it wasn't good.
The elderly woman behind the desk smiled warmly at her. "Ah, Janelle, thank you for coming. Please, have a seat."
Janelle sat down, her eyes fixed on the woman's face. "You called me in here for a reason, I assume?" she asked, trying to sound confident.
"Yes, I did," the woman replied, her expression turning serious. "Janelle, your grades have been slipping lately. You're not performing as well as you used to, and I'm concerned."
Janelle felt a surge of embarrassment. She knew she hadn't been doing great in school lately, but she had no idea it was this bad.
"I don't know what's going on," Janelle muttered, looking down at her feet. "I'll try harder, I promise."
The woman sighed. "Janelle, this isn't just about trying harder. You're losing focus, and it's affecting your grades. Your parents are going to be very disappointed if this continues."
Janelle felt a lump form in her throat. She knew her parents would kill her if they found out she was struggling in school.
"I'll do better," Janelle promised, trying to sound convincing.
The woman nodded. "I know you will. And to help you, I've arranged for you to have a personal tutor."
"Who is it?" She asked gently.
"Your senior, Zayne" she said.
"No, please, anyone but Zayne!"Janelle's eyes widened in horror.
The woman looked at her curiously.
"What's wrong with Zayne? He's a great student and a very nice boy." The head teacher said.
Janelle shook her head, feeling a sense of panic wash over her. "I just don't want him, okay? Can't I have someone else?"
The woman sighed. "Janelle, you need someone who can help you catch up, and Zayne is the best person for the job. You'll be meeting with him every day after school, starting tomorrow."
Janelle felt a sense of despair wash over her. She had been trying to avoid Zayne for so long, and now it seemed like she was going to be stuck with him every day.
As she left the office, Janelle couldn't help but feel like she was trapped. She had no idea how she was going to get out of this situation, but she knew she had to try.

LUNCHTIME
Lexi was grateful to have Gemma by her side as they enter the cafeteria. They ordered their food and made their way to an empty table, Lexi relieved that Gemma didn't ask her any questions. She wasn't in the mood to talk.
As they approached their table, Lexi didn't notice the leg stuck out in front of her. She tripped and fell, the food tray in her hand flying out of her grasp. The contents splattered everywhere, including all over the person who had tripped her.
"How dare you?" Victoria yelled angrily, her face red with rage. She was the one who had tripped Lexi, and now she was pointing to a small stain on her shirt.
"It wasn't intentional," Lexi muttered, scrambling to her feet.
"Are you making excuses instead of apologizing?" Victoria yelled, her voice echoing through the cafeteria. She slapped Lexi across the face, and Lexi felt a surge of anger.
She used every ounce of restraint to keep from hitting Victoria back.
"You know I didn't do it on purpose," Lexi yelled, her eyes flashing with anger.
Victoria smiled sweetly, and Lexi knew she had planned this whole thing.
"You're just a clumsy little bitch," Victoria said, her voice dripping with malice.
Lexi turned and started to walk away, Gemma running after her. They could hear the comments from the students as they left the cafeteria.
"What is her deal? Was she planning to ruin Victoria's dress?"
"And she couldn't even apologize, what a bitch."
"I hate her so much."
Victoria smiled to herself, pleased with the reaction she had gotten. This was exactly what she had wanted.
Gemma caught up to Lexi outside and put a hand on her arm.
"You shouldn't take it to heart, they're just fools, okay?" she said gently.
Lexi forced a smile, trying to play it off. "It's nothing, I'm okay," she lied.
Gemma looked at her skeptically but didn't push the issue.
"Let's just go, okay?" she said, and Lexi nodded in agreement.

NIGHTTIME
Lexi groggily opened her eyes, her head pounding from the loud noise. She had fallen asleep the moment she got home from school, exhausted from the day's events. But now, it seemed like a party was going on downstairs. She rubbed her eyes, trying to shake off the sleep.
As she stood up from the bed, the noise grew louder. She stumbled out of her room, her heart racing with confusion. What was going on? She made her way downstairs, her eyes adjusting to the bright lights and loud music.
The living room was packed with people, all of whom seemed to be having the time of their lives. Lexi's eyes scanned the room, but she didn't recognize anyone. They were all seniors, she guessed, and they seemed to be having some sort of party.
As she reached the bottom of the stairs, the music suddenly stopped. All eyes turned to her, and Lexi felt a wave of nervousness wash over her. She hadn't expected this.
"Who are you?" one of them asked, their voice laced with curiosity.
Lexi hesitated, unsure of how to respond. She didn't know anyone here, and she certainly didn't know why she was suddenly the center of attention.
"It's the tomboy," someone else chimed in.
"Yeah, that's true," another person said.
"But what is she doing in Jameson's house, in just her pajamas?" Another asked and all eyes fell on Jameson.
The room fell silent, all eyes fixed on Lexi. She felt her face heat up with embarrassment.
"She...is...my..." Jameson started to say, but Victoria quickly cut him off.
"His maid," Victoria said, her voice dripping with condescension.
"She is his maid, our maid." She added.
Lexi's eyes widened in shock. What was Victoria talking about? She wasn't Jameson's maid!
But before she could protest, Victoria continued. "Yes, Lexi here is our new maid. She's been helping us out around the house."
The room erupted in laughter and cheers, and Lexi's face burned with humiliation. She couldn't believe what was happening.
