(NEMESIS)

The next morning, Jameson woke up and yawned before turning to get out of bed. But as he tried to stand up, he felt a pair of arms wrapped around him, holding him back. His eyes snapped open, and he was shocked to see Lexi sleeping peacefully in his arms. His eyes widened in disbelief, and he quickly pushed her away, his face scowling in distaste.

Lexi's eyes fluttered open, and she met Jameson's frown with a confused expression. She quickly sat up and rubbed her eyes, trying to shake off the sleep.

"What's wrong?" she asked, her voice groggy.

"What are you doing beside me?" Jameson demanded, his voice cold and accusatory.

Lexi looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings.

"I was cold, and I saw there was enough space on the bed with blankets too, so I decided to sleep," she explained, her voice innocent.

Jameson's frown deepened. "Why are you in my arms?"

Lexi shrugged. "You're the one who hugged me last night."

Jameson's eyes widened in denial. "I would never do that!"

Lexi rolled her eyes. "You did, and I didn't want to wake you, so I just let you sleep."

Jameson's face twisted in disgust. "You decided not to wake me up because you liked it, right?"

Lexi's face grew hot, and she looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. "No, of course not!"

Just then, Mrs. Newton's voice came from outside the room. "Breakfast is ready, you both should come outside!"

Jameson's expression softened slightly, and he nodded. "Okay, mom."

Lexi quickly got up and entered the bathroom to shower, trying to shake off the awkwardness of the situation. As she showered, she couldn't help but remember how Jameson had hugged her throughout the night, and a small smile played on her lips. She quickly slapped herself out of it.

Here is an expanded version of the scene:

As she came out of the bathroom, Lexi was greeted by Jameson's chiseled physique, clad only in a towel that hung precariously below his waist. She quickly averted her gaze, trying not to admire his perfect body, but her eyes betrayed her, sneaking a peek before she looked away, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

"The clothes on the bed are for you," Jameson said, his deep voice breaking the silence, before he turned and entered the bathroom, banging the door behind him.

Lexi let out a sigh of relief and moved to his dressing table, running her fingers over the various bottles and jars, feeling a sense of intimacy in using his personal care products. She applied his lotion and facial cream, feeling the softness of her skin as she moisturized.

As she moved towards the bed, she saw the big shirt and trousers laid out for her, and her heart skipped a beat. She put them on, feeling the softness of the fabric against her skin, and giggled at her appearance in the mirror. The clothes were way too big for her, but she loved the way they made her feel - like she was wrapped in Jameson's embrace.

She inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of the clothes, and blushed as she realized she was literally smelling like Jameson. She loved it, feeling a sense of comfort and security in wearing his clothes.

After packing her short hair into a ponytail, Lexi made her way to the dining room, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness about what the day held. She had no idea what Jameson had planned, but she was determined to make the most of it.

"Good morning, everyone," Lexi said, bowing gently.

Everyone responded except Janelle, who just grunted and continued eating.

"Where is James?" Mrs. Newton asked, looking around the table.

"He is coming," Lexi replied, letting out a smile.

Just then, Jameson walked in, looking devastatingly handsome in his fitted shirt and jeans. Lexi's heart skipped a beat as he sat down beside her, and they started eating in silence.

After breakfast, they were escorted outside, and Jameson finally noticed how his clothes looked on her. He smirked, his eyes scanning her from head to toe.

"Wow, you look...different," he said, his voice low and husky.

Lexi blushed, feeling self-conscious about wearing his clothes.

"I mean you look like a dwarf, shorty" he smirk, she rolls her eyes.

They got into his car and drove off in silence. Jameson suddenly stopped the car when they were about to reach the college.

"Get out," he said, his voice firm.

Lexi rolled her eyes and got out of the car. Jameson zoomed off immediately, leaving her standing on the sidewalk.

She started walking, lost in thought, when another car stopped beside her.

"Hey, why are you trekking?" Wayne asked, smiling at her through the window.

"I just went somewhere first," Lexi said, smiling nervously.

"Your clothes look weird too, I think you really changed," Wayne said, staring at her face.

"It's nothing, okay?" Lexi replied, trying to brush it off.

But Wayne kept staring at her face, his eyes searching.

"What? Is something on my face?" Lexi asked, starting to feel self-conscious.

"No, you just look so pretty," Wayne said, his voice sincere.

"What, you can't do that," she said, trying to sound playful.

But Wayne just smiled and pecked her cheeks again.

"I don't think I can stop," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"You should" she said before he drove off.

"Why is everyone excited?" Lexi asked, looking around at the students walking briskly and chatting enthusiastically.

"That's because it's sport time!" Gemma explained, her eyes shining with excitement.

"It happens every Wednesday, and you get to choose any sport you want!" She added.

Lexi's eyes widened with interest. "What sports do they have?"

"All sorts! Soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, rugby, cricket, swimming, gymnastics, athletics...the list goes on! That's one of the amazing things about Newtons College - there's always something for everyone!"Gemma grinned.

"Wow, I love it! So many options!"Lexi's face lit up.

Gemma nodded.

"So, what sport are you interested in? I'll take you to the right place!" She asked.

Lexi thought for a moment before responding. "How about swimming?"

"That's my sport too! I'll show you the way!"Gemma squealed with delight.

As they walked to the swimming area, Lexi noticed that some students were wearing sleek, high-tech swimsuits, while others were in more casual beachwear. Gemma handed Lexi a tiny swimsuit that made her blush.

"I can't wear that!" Lexi shook her head firmly. "I have a short and singlet in my bag - I'll wear those instead." She said.

"But why? The swimsuit will look great on you!"Gemma pouted playfully.

"I'm just not comfortable in that, okay? I'll stick with my own clothes, thanks!"Lexi smiled politely.

Gemma shrugged and quickly changed into her own swimsuit, a bright pink bikini that showed off her toned physique. "Okay, suit yourself! But you're missing out on the fun!"

"Wow!" Lexi gasped, her eyes wide with amazement as she gazed out at the huge swimming pool. The water sparkled in the sunlight, and the sound of laughter and splashing filled the air.

"It's amazing, right?" Gemma said with a grin. "Just pass the interview, and you'll be registered for the swimming team. You'll swim with the other newbies, and the best among you will be chosen. The others can join other sports teams."

Lexi nodded, her mind racing with excitement. She had always loved swimming, and the thought of being part of a team was thrilling.

Just then, Victoria showed up with her friend, wearing sexy bikinis that turned heads. The students started murmuring, and Lexi felt a twinge of intimidation.

"Is she also on the swimming team?" Lexi asked Gemma quietly.

"Yes, she's the best here," Gemma replied. "Surprisingly good."

"I can understand that."Lexi muttered to herself, Their father had taught them how to swim, and he was a great swimmer himself, winning many gold medals for his school.

As the newbies got ready to swim, Lexi felt a surge of determination. She was going to give it her all and show everyone what she was capable of.

The coach blew the whistle, and the newbies jumped into the water, swimming to the end and back. Lexi left everyone behind, her strokes strong and confident.

"Wow, you're fast!" the coach exclaimed, beaming. "Twenty-nine seconds! That's incredible!"

The students cheered and clapped, and Lexi blushed, feeling proud.

"Twenty-nine seconds?" one of the students repeated.

"That means she broke Victoria's record! Victoria's time was thirty-three seconds!" Another one added.

"She is amazing, I think she is the new champion" Another one smile.

The group started buzzing, and Victoria glared at Lexi hatefully before storming away, her friend running after her.

Gemma hugged Lexi tightly.

"You're so amazing, Lexi! I knew you had it in you!" She said.

Lexi grinned.

NEWTON HIGH

As Zayne walked into the classroom, the students couldn't help but stare.

"Wow, it's senior Zayne," one of them whispered.

"What is he doing in our class?" another student asked, curiosity etched on her face.

"Maybe someone is in trouble," a third student chimed in, eyes darting nervously around the room.

But amidst the whispers and worried glances, one student couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest. "He's so handsome," she sighed, her eyes fixed on Zayne's chiseled features. "I wish he could look at me just once."

Zayne, however, seemed oblivious to the commotion he had caused. His deep frown and piercing gaze made him look every bit the intimidating figure that rumors had made him out to be. In school, he was known for being cold as ice, and many people feared him, avoiding getting on his bad side at all costs.

But when his eyes landed on Janelle, something seemed to shift in his demeanor. "Janelle," he called out, his voice firm but not unkind.

Janelle raised her head from the desk, her expression immediately turning into a scowl as she took in Zayne's stern face.

"Follow me," he said curtly, turning on his heel and walking out of the classroom.

Janelle rolled her eyes and reluctantly got up from her seat, following Zayne to an empty classroom down the hall. As soon as they were inside, Zayne's face broke into a wide smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"What do you want?" Janelle asked gruffly, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Are you still going to clubs?" Zayne asked, his smile still plastered on his face.

"I believe you didn't call me here to ask me that." Janelle scoffed.

"Well, I didn't. I'm here to receive a thank you for saving your ass some days ago."Zayne chuckled.

"Why did you like teasing me?"Janelle's expression turned angry.

Zayne's smile grew even wider.

"Because I like how you look when you're angry. You look so cute." He said.

Janelle's face turned red with indignation.

"I hate you so much!" she exclaimed.

"I thought you have crush on me" He smirked.

"That was long ago, i was young then and didn't see you for who you are, but i am totally over it now" She said before storming out of the classroom.

"I just like teasing her," Zayne chuckled to himself, watching her go.

"Are you going home already?" Gemma asked, noticing Lexi's backpack.

"Yeah, what about you?" Lexi replied, adjusting her straps.

"Not yet," Gemma said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "There's a basketball match, and I want you to watch with me."

Before Lexi could protest, Gemma dragged her away, leading her to the big stadium. As they arrived, Lexi saw a few other students already seated, cheering and chatting. Gemma found them a spot, and they sat down, eager to watch the game.

"People love watching this sport every Wednesday because it's the game between every popular guy in our school," Gemma explained, her voice filled with enthusiasm.

Just then, the door opened, and Wayne and his teammates walked onto the stage, wearing red shirts. Lexi's face lit up with a smile as she waved at Wayne, who grinned back at her. The other team, wearing blue shirts, entered the court, and the crowd erupted in cheers. Lexi's eyes scanned the blue team, her gaze landing on Jameson, who looked incredibly handsome in his uniform. Their eyes met, and Jameson frowned, but didn't say anything.

The two team glare at each other while waiting for the sound of the whistle.

As the game began, Jameson's group quickly proved themselves to be the strongest team on the field. They passed the ball among each other with ease, their movements fluid and coordinated.

Wayne, in particular, stood out for his impressive skills, and he didn't hesitate to show off his charm by sending winks and flying kisses to Lexi in the stands.

The whole student body gasped in delight at Wayne's antics, and even Lexi couldn't help but smile back at him. Jameson, however, was not amused. He was almost losing it, seeing how Lexi was responding to Wayne's flirtations.

Despite his growing unease, Jameson's team managed to secure a win with five points. As the final whistle blew, Jameson's gaze locked onto Lexi, and he could see the disappointment and sadness etched on her face. She had clearly been rooting for Wayne to win.

Jameson scoffed, his eyes narrowing in annoyance. Why was Lexi so invested in Wayne's success?

Victoria, on the other hand, was seething with anger. She had been watching Jameson's gaze linger on Lexi throughout the game, and she couldn't believe that he hadn't even spared her a glance. All his attention was focused on Lexi, she also noticed the shirt that Lexi was wearing, she could recognize it as one of Jameson's favorite. Victoria's hatred for her grew worse with each passing moment.

As the crowd began to disperse, Victoria stood up and stormed off, her teeth gritted in frustration. She couldn't understand why Jameson was so captivated by Lexi, and she was determined to ruin it.

Meanwhile, Lexi was trying to make sense of her own feelings. She had genuinely enjoyed watching Wayne play, but a part of her was also happy to see Jameson win. She couldn't deny the flutter in her chest whenever Jameson looked at her, and she wondered if she was developing feelings for him.

"We should go, game is over" Gemma said.

"Sure" she said as they went out.

.

.

.

The dressing room was filled with the sound of laughter and banter as the guys got ready to leave. Jameson was adjusting his bag when someone bumped into him, and he turned to see Wayne walking away with a smirk on his face.

"You know I let you win, right?" Wayne said over his shoulder, and Jameson scoffed.

"You can console yourself with that, but you know deep down that you can never beat me in anything," Jameson said, his voice dripping with confidence.

Wayne turned around, a glint in his eye. "Just you wait and watch," he said, his voice low and menacing.

Jameson raised an eyebrow. "I will. And I can see you're showing your real behavior now - shamelessly flirting with a girl."

"Does that bother you?"Wayne's smirk grew wider.

Jameson snorted. "Oh, it doesn't. I don't think anything from you will bother me, since you're nothing but a loser."

Wayne's face turned red with anger, and he took a step closer to Jameson.

"Jerk," he spat, and swung a punch at Jameson's face.

Jameson's lip burst open, and he felt a surge of anger. He wanted to return the punch, but his friends grabbed his arm and held him back.

"You should ignore him," Jordan said gently.

"Yes, he doesn't deserve your attention," Freddie added.

Wayne just smirked as Jameson was dragged away by his friends.

.

.

.

"Why don't you just treat your lip?" Jordan groaned as they walked to the parking lot.

"It's nothing," Jameson muttered, still visibly upset that he hadn't been able to fight back.

As they approached the parking lot, Jameson's eyes scanned the area, his gaze landing on Wayne, who was leaning against his car, looking around casually. It was obvious that he was searching for someone, and Jameson's instincts told him that someone was Lexi.

"You guys should go without me," Jameson suddenly said to his friends, already turning to head back in the direction he had come from.

"Wait, what's going on?" Jordan asked, but Jameson didn't respond. He quickly ran back towards the school building, his eyes fixed on Lexi and Gemma, who were walking towards him.

"Come with me," Jameson said gruffly, grabbing Lexi's arm and pulling her towards his car. Gemma looked on in shock as Jameson dragged Lexi away.

"What's going on?" Lexi asked curiously, but Jameson ignored her, his eyes fixed on Wayne, who was still searching for her.

Jameson quickly opened the car door and pushed Lexi inside, closing the door behind her.

"Jameson, what's going on?" Lexi asked again, starting to get worried.

But Jameson just started the engine and began driving away from the school, his eyes fixed on the rearview mirror, where Wayne's figure was growing smaller.
