Kaito's thoughts were a jumble of emotions as he hugged his father tightly. He loved Azriel, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that his father didn't know the truth about his mother. He wondered if Azriel would still love him if he knew that Rylee wasn't his real mother. The thought made Kaito's heart ache, and he pushed it aside, focusing on the present moment. He looked up at Azriel, his eyes shining with a mix of love and curiosity.
"Papa, can I ask you something?" Kaito said, his voice barely above a whisper. Azriel's expression softened, and he nodded, his eyes encouraging Kaito to continue.
"What is it, little one?" he asked, his voice gentle. Kaito hesitated, unsure of how to phrase his question. He didn't want to hurt his father, but he needed to know the truth.
"Papa, do you know who my real mother is?" Kaito asked, his voice trembling slightly. Azriel's expression froze, and he looked taken aback by the question. Kaito's heart sank, and he wondered if he had made a mistake by asking.
"Son it's Rylee," Azriel said. Kaito sighed so papa doesn't know either it's fine let's wait.
Kaito's face fell, and he nodded silently, trying to hide his disappointment. He looked up at Azriel, a faint smile on his face.
"I see, Papa," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. He hugged Azriel tightly, his eyes welling up with tears. He knew he would have to wait a little longer to find the truth about his real mother.
Kaito's thoughts were a jumble of emotions as he hugged his father tightly. He loved Azriel, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that his father was just as clueless as he was about his mother's true identity. He decided to keep his secret hidden for now, and wait for the right moment to reveal the truth. As he pulled back from the hug, Kaito's eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. He knew he had to find a way to uncover the truth about his mother, and he was determined to do it on his own.
"Papa, can I go play now?" Kaito asked, his voice innocent. Azriel smiled, none the wiser, and nodded.
"Of course, little one. Go have fun." Kaito grinned, and skipped out of the room, his mind already racing with plans to uncover the truth about his mother's past.
Azriel waved his finger a guard appeared and knelt down.
"Your Highness, watch my son and keep him safe if anything happens him…" Azriel said as he stopped there.
The guard, a tall and imposing figure with a stern expression, nodded solemnly and bowed his head.
"I will not let anything happen to the young prince, Your Highness," he said, his voice firm and resolute.
"I will watch over him with my life." As the guard spoke, his eyes flicked to Kaito, who was now playing with a toy in the corner of the room, oblivious to the conversation. The guard's expression softened slightly, and he nodded again.
"I will keep him safe, Your Highness. You can count on me." Azriel's eyes lingered on the guard for a moment, and then he nodded, seeming to satisfy himself that Kaito would be well protected. He turned to leave, but not before casting one last glance at his son, a look of love and concern etched on his face.
As Azriel turned to leave, the guard rose to his feet and followed him, keeping a discreet distance. Kaito, still playing with his toy, didn't notice the guard's gaze on him, but he sensed that he was being watched. He looked up, and his eyes met the guard's for a brief moment. The guard's expression was neutral, but Kaito felt a shiver run down his spine. He quickly looked away, focusing on his toy once again. The guard's eyes lingered on Kaito for a moment, and then he turned to follow Azriel, his footsteps quiet on the marble floor. As they left the room, Kaito's thoughts turned to the conversation he had overheard earlier. He wondered what his father had meant by his cryptic words, and what kind of danger might be lurking in the shadows. He pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on his toy, but his mind was already racing with questions and concerns.
Akira's eyes scanned the opulent interior of the Frost Minor mansion, her gaze lingering on the lavish decorations. She followed the maid, her heels clicking on the polished marble floor. As they reached the grand study, the maid announced her arrival, and Akira's grandparents, the Marquess and Marchioness of Frost, looked up from their seats. Their expressions were a mixture of curiosity and wariness, and Akira's eyes narrowed slightly as she approached them.
"Akira, it doesn't matter weather you are our real granddaughter we see you as our only granddaughter," Grandpa Zion said.
Akira's eyes overflowed with tears as she heard Grandpa Zion's words. She had always known that they loved her, but to hear them say it out loud, to hear them acknowledge that they saw her as their own, was like a balm to her soul. She hugged them both tightly, holding them close as she let out a sob of relief and happiness.
"Thank you, Grandma, Grandpa," she whispered, her voice shaking with emotion.
"Thank you for always being here for me, for always loving me no matter what." Grandma Rae stroked her hair, her eyes shining with tears, while Grandpa Zion held her close, his arms strong and comforting.
"We'll always be here for you, Akira," he said, his voice full of conviction.
"You're our granddaughter, and we love you more than anything in this world."
"But won't your real granddaughter be angry?" Akira asked. Grandma and Grandpa Zion sneered.
Grandma Rae's expression turned cold, her eyes flashing with anger.
"That girl?" she spat. "Terry? She's not our granddaughter, not in any way that matters. She's a spoiled, selfish brat who only cares about herself. She doesn't deserve to be a part of this family." Grandpa Zion's face was equally stern, his voice dripping with disdain.
"We were fooled by her mother's lies, but we see the truth now. Terry is not our blood, and she will never be our true granddaughter. You, Akira, are the one we love and accept as our own." The air was thick with tension as they spoke, their words laced with a deep-seated resentment towards Terry and her mother. Akira felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized the depth of their feelings, but she also felt a sense of relief and gratitude that they saw her as their true granddaughter.
Akira's expression softened as she thought about her grandparents' love and acceptance. She didn't care about her adoptive parents or Terry's feelings towards her. Her grandparents' love was all that mattered. She smiled warmly at them, her eyes shining with gratitude.
"Thank you, Grandma, Grandpa. I love you both so much."
Akira's face lit up with a radiant smile as she began to talk about her triplets. Her eyes sparkled with joy, and her voice was filled with warmth and love.
"Oh, Grandma, Grandpa, they're growing up so fast! Stellen is still my little wild child, always getting into mischief and keeping me on my toes. Anastasia is my sweet, gentle soul, always looking out for her siblings and making sure everyone is happy. And Draconian... oh, my little prince, he's still my brave and adventurous one, always exploring and discovering new things." Akira's voice was filled with pride and adoration as she spoke about her triplets, and her grandparents could see the love and devotion in her eyes. They listened with happy smiles, delighted to hear about the children they loved almost as much as Akira herself.
"Old Madam, Master, Lady Akira your parents want to talk to you," A servant said. Akira sweetness disappeared so fast as she sighed. Back then her and Hannah were known to be twin sisters but later on they found out her Hannah weren't even twins Hannah showed her true colors they found their real daughter Terry and the real twin sister of Hannah both twins are disgusting as one comes. Let's not forget the brothers that once protected her hated her. But her hate were not just her adaptive siblings but also adaptive parents.
"I will go," Akira said.
"We will go with you."
Akira's expression turned cold, her eyes flashing with disdain. She stood up, her movements fluid and deliberate.
"I'll go," she repeated, her voice devoid of emotion. Grandma Rae and Grandpa Zion rose to their feet, their faces set in determined lines.
"We'll go with you," Grandma Rae said, her voice firm. Together, the three of them followed the servant, Akira's heart heavy with a mix of emotions.
