Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 {Dr. Lu}

Reina's mind was racing with thoughts of her brother's intentions. She knew that Azriel's interests were always shrouded in mystery, and she couldn't help but wonder what he saw in Akira. Her best friend had been through a lot, and Reina was determined to protect her from anyone who might harm her. But at the same time, she couldn't deny the fact that Azriel's protection was a powerful thing. If he was interested in Akira, that meant she would be safe from harm. Reina's thoughts were a jumbled mix of emotions, but one thing was certain - she would keep a close eye on her brother's actions, and make sure that Akira was safe from harm. She turned to leave, but not before casting a wary glance at her brother, who was still watching her with an unreadable expression.

Akira was at the cafe she was sipping hot coco she was wearing silk gloves it has become a habit of hers she dislike skin to skin contact toward strangers or anyone else. Her eyes closed deeply as she yawned and kept on sipping her drink. "Akira!" Reina shouted she wore a luxury short summer purple dress as Reina hugged Akira who flinched she hugged Reina back.

Akira's eyes snapped open, and she smiled weakly as she hugged Reina back, trying to hide her initial flinch. She wasn't used to physical contact, and it always made her feel a bit uncomfortable. But Reina was her best friend, and she knew she meant no harm.

"Reina, it's been so long," Akira said, her voice a bit husky from disuse. She pulled back and looked at Reina, taking in her luxurious dress and sparkling eyes.

"You look beautiful, as always," Akira said, trying to sound casual despite the fact that she was still feeling a bit raw from her earlier encounter with her family. She glanced around the cafe, noticing the curious glances from the other patrons.

"Let's sit down and catch up," Akira suggested, trying to steer the conversation away from her own emotions.

"Speak to me! How are you!?" Reina asked her.

Akira's eyes dropped, and she fidgeted with her gloves, a habit she'd developed over the years. She took a deep breath before speaking, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I'm...I'm fine, Reina. Just a bit...tired. I've been dealing with some family issues, and it's been...stressful." She paused, collecting her thoughts before continuing.

"But I'm glad to be back, and I'm glad to see you. You look like you're doing well, as always." Akira's gaze drifted back to Reina's, her eyes searching for a sense of comfort and familiarity. She hadn't expected to feel so emotional, but being around Reina again brought up a mix of feelings she'd thought she'd long buried.

"Akira how did you attract my brother?" Reina asked and Akira who would rather die than attract man frowned. She has never meant Reina family so she doesn't know how she would attract anyone.

"Nope, don't know your brother."

Akira's frown deepened, and she shook her head, her eyes wide with innocence.

"I'm serious, Reina. I don't know your brother. I've never met him, and I've certainly never tried to attract him. I don't even know what that would entail." She sounded genuinely puzzled, and her expression was one of complete bewilderment.

"Why would you think that, anyway? I'm not exactly...social, and I'm definitely not looking for any kind of romantic entanglement. I have my triplets to think about, and that's all that matters to me." Akira's voice was firm, and her gaze was steady, as if daring Reina to doubt her words.

"Oh my gosh I am a godmother!" Reina shouted and threw the other topic out of the window and asked about her godkids.

Akira's expression softened, and a warm smile spread across her face as she gazed at Reina.

"Ah, yes! The triplets! They're doing so well, Reina. They're growing up so fast, and they're always getting into mischief. I swear, they have more energy than a dozen children combined." Akira laughed, a gentle, musical sound, and her eyes sparkled with amusement.

"They're always asking for their 'Auntie Reina' and wanting to play with you. They adore you, Reina, and I'm so grateful to have you in their lives." Akira's voice was filled with love and gratitude, and she leaned in, eager to share more stories about her precious triplets.

"Stellen, Anastasia, and Draconian know about you since I talk about you a lot so they already call you Aunt Reina."

A shadow that has been watching the woman disappeared and appeared in a luxury penthouse apartment. There Azriel who was sitting in his wheelchair looked up at the guard. Almost one hundred years he has been unable to fix his legs he doesn't know what happened or how but no one dares look down at him just because he is crippled people are just more frighten with him. All he knows they are only two types of doctors that can help him and both of them are mysteriously hard to find one is Dr.Lu she is a famous medical neurosurgeon all her cases have been successful and has done numbers of research.

Azriel's eyes narrowed as he gazed at the guard, his expression unreadable. His voice was low and even, but it carried a hint of authority.

"I've received a report that Dr. Lu has been spotted in the city. I want you to find out where she is and bring her to me. I don't care what it takes, I want to see her in my presence within the next 24 hours." Azriel's eyes seemed to bore into the guard, as if daring him to fail. His mind thought about Akira sigh wait darling even if you don't know him he will protect you.

The guard's eyes widened slightly, and he nodded hastily, his face pale.

"Yes, sir. I'll find her and bring her to you right away." He turned to leave, but paused, his voice hesitant.

"Sir, if I may ask, what's the purpose of bringing Dr. Lu here? Is it...related to your condition?" The guard's eyes darted to Azriel's legs, before quickly looking away, as if afraid to offend. Azriel's gaze followed the guard's, his expression darkening, and his voice dropping to a low growl.

"You don't need to know the details. Just bring her to me. Now."

Azriel's thoughts turned to Akira, a small, enigmatic smile playing on his lips.

"Akira...my little enigma. You have no idea how much you've piqued my interest. I'll make sure you're safe, no matter what it takes. And soon, you'll learn the true meaning of protection." His eyes gleamed with a hint of possessiveness, as he leaned back in his wheelchair, his gaze drifting off into the distance, lost in thought.

Azriel's eyes snapped back to the present, his expression cold and calculating. He pressed a button on his wheelchair, and a hidden panel slid open, revealing a sleek, high-tech computer system. He began to type, his fingers flying across the keyboard with a speed and precision that belied his crippled legs. His eyes narrowed, as he accessed a secure database, his gaze scanning the information on the screen.

"Ah, Dr. Lu...it seems you're not the only one searching for you. There's another player in the game, one who'll stop at nothing to get to you first. I'll have to move quickly, if I'm to get to you before they do."

What no one was aware of is that famous mysterious Dr. Lu is actually Akira one reason why she was hard to find is she never wanted to be found and she liked it that way. With having two nicknames The Divine Miracle Healer and being Dr. Lu it's hard to find any of them.
