Azriel's eyes seemed to gleam with a hint of amusement, his expression enigmatic.
"Let's just say that I'm a man who gets what I want, Reina. And I'm not one to be deterred by a simple 'no' or a lack of interest. If I decide that I want something, I'll do whatever it takes to get it. And right now, I want to get to know Akira better." Azriel's voice was low and smooth, but there was an undercurrent of determination that sent a shiver down Reina's spine.
"So, when I say 'yet', I mean that I'm not ruling out the possibility of something more with Akira in the future. And I suggest you don't either."
"Well I wouldn't mind her being my sister in law," Reina muttered. Wait a moment that's not the point!
"You are tricking me!"
Azriel's eyes sparkled with amusement, a small, triumphant smile playing on his lips.
"Ah, Reina, you're so easy to read. I knew you'd come around eventually. And yes, I am trying to trick you, in a way. I want to use our conversation to my advantage, to get closer to Akira. And I think I've just taken the first step in doing so." Azriel's gaze never left Reina's face, his eyes glinting with calculation.
"You see, Reina, I know that you're fiercely loyal to Akira, and that you'll do anything to protect her. So, if I can just get you on my side, even a little bit, I think I can use that to my advantage when it comes to winning Akira over."
"She hates our family after all she dated your nephew, Liam," Reina said she made a disgusting face when she thought about her cousin Liam.
Azriel's expression turned thoughtful, his eyes narrowing as he considered Reina's words.
"Ah, yes, Liam. I'd forgotten about that. Akira and Liam's relationship didn't exactly end on good terms, did it?" Azriel's gaze seemed to turn inward, as if he was thinking back on past events.
"I remember Liam was quite taken with her, but Akira... she's a hard one to pin down, isn't she? She's always been a bit of a mystery, even to those of us who know her." Azriel's eyes refocused on Reina, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
"Tell me, Reina, what's Akira's side of the story when it comes to her and Liam? What really happened between them?"
"Brother there was a scandal Akira got pregnant with an unknown man, at the same time the House of Frost found out that she wasn't their biological daughter. Liam cheated on her even if he is a prince he humiliated Akira, after that we don't know what happened I remember her grandparents searching for her and countless of people thought she was dead. But now it has been seven years later no one knows what happened in her life she won't even talk to me about it but her dislike for the royal family is hard core, even if Liam is from the third minor family," Reina said.
Azriel's eyes widened in shock, his face pale as he listened to Reina's words.
"A scandal? Akira getting pregnant with an unknown man? Liam cheating on her? And to top it all off, she's not even a biological member of the House of Frost?" Azriel's voice was barely above a whisper, his mind reeling with the implications.
"No wonder she's so guarded, so secretive. And Liam... he's always been a bit of a wild card, but I had no idea he'd stoop so low." Azriel's gaze turned thoughtful, his eyes narrowing as he considered the situation.
"And now, seven years later, Akira's back, with a mysterious past and a deep-seated hatred for the royal family. This is a complication I hadn't anticipated."
Azriel's eyes seemed to gleam with a newfound intensity, his voice taking on a determined tone.
"But I'm not one to shy away from complications, Reina. In fact, I find them rather... intriguing. And Akira, with her mysterious past and her fiery personality, is the most intriguing of all." Azriel's gaze locked onto Reina's, his eyes burning with a fierce intensity.
"I want to know more about her, Reina. I want to know what happened to her during those seven years, and I want to know what makes her tick. And I'm willing to do whatever it takes to find out."
"I really don't know she was once warm and bubbly but now she is cold as ice princess you can never tell what she is thinking her weakness is kids she loves kids. Since you have a son just…"
Azriel's eyes lit up with interest, his gaze never leaving Reina's face.
"Ah, a weakness for kids, you say? And she loves them, does she? That's a valuable piece of information, Reina. And my son, Kaito... he's a clever boy, always getting into mischief. I think he could be the key to getting close to Akira, don't you?" Azriel's voice was low and smooth, his eyes gleaming with calculation.
"I'll make sure to use Kaito to my advantage, Reina. And who knows, maybe Akira will let her guard down around him. After all, it's hard to resist a charming child, isn't it?"
"Well aren't you shameless?" Reina said she can't believe her brother but she brushed it off she knows she can't change Azriel brother mind.
Azriel chuckled, a low, smooth sound.
"Shameless? Me? Never, Reina. I'm just a pragmatic man who knows how to get what I want. And what I want is Akira. I'll do whatever it takes to make her mine, even if it means using my own son as a pawn." Azriel's eyes sparkled with amusement, his smile growing wider.
"You know me, Reina. I'm a man who always gets what I want, no matter the cost. And Akira is no exception."
"She will beat you if she finds out you are using your cute adorable six year old son!" Reina whined.
Azriel laughed, a deep, rich sound.
"Ah, Reina, you're so dramatic. I'm not using Kaito, I'm just...facilitating a connection between him and Akira. And who knows, maybe they'll become great friends. But even if Akira does find out, I'm not afraid of her. I can handle myself, and I'm willing to take that risk." Azriel's eyes glinted with amusement, his smile still playing on his lips.
"Besides, I think Kaito can handle himself too. He's a clever boy, and he can charm the birds from the trees. I'm sure he'll be able to handle Akira's temper."
Kaito rushed forward. Kaito who still kept a deep secret about Rylee who wasn't even his real mother saw his auntie and dad talking to each other and Kaito rushed to his dad. Kaito was a quiet but a cleaver boy his big eyes sparked as Kaito sat on his dad leg even if his dad legs are crippled they still haven't found Dr. Lu or even the Divine Miracle Healer it was hard to find them.
Kaito's big eyes sparkled as he sat on Azriel's leg, his small face lighting up with excitement. Azriel smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he wrapped an arm around Kaito's small shoulders.
"Ah, Kaito, my clever boy. What brings you here?" Azriel asked, his voice warm and gentle. Kaito looked up at his father, his eyes shining with a deep intelligence. He was a quiet boy, but he was always observing, always listening. And he knew that his father was up to something, that he was planning something. Kaito's eyes flicked to Reina, and then back to his father.
"Daddy, what's going on?" Kaito asked, his small voice full of curiosity. Azriel's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with amusement.
"Just talking to your auntie, Kaito. Nothing important." But Kaito's eyes narrowed, his small face skeptical. He knew his father too well, knew that he was hiding something. And Kaito's eyes sparkled with determination, he was going to find out what it was.
