Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 {Pale With Anger}

The triplets, who were busy playing with their toys, looked up at Akira with wide eyes as they overheard the conversation.

"Mama, where are we going?" Stellen asked, her voice curious. Akira's expression was neutral, but her eyes seemed to hold a hint of resignation.

"We're going to Elyria Celestia, to help Uncle Cruz with something," she said, her voice matter-of-fact. Draconian's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Is it an adventure, mama?" he asked, his voice full of hope. Akira's expression softened slightly, and she smiled wryly.

"I'm not sure, sweetie. But we'll find out soon enough." Anastasia, who had been quietly observing the conversation, spoke up.

"Mama, can we pack our bags now? We don't want to forget anything important." Akira nodded, her eyes scanning the room as she mentally prepared for their trip.

"Yes, let's get started. We don't have much time." The triplets nodded in unison, their faces set with determination, as they began to gather their belongings and prepare for their journey to Elyria Celestia.

As the triplets busied themselves packing their bags, Akira's mind wandered back to her conversation with Uncle Cruz. She couldn't help but feel a sense of unease about the task that lay ahead. What was it about his great great grandmother's illness that required her specific... skills? And what exactly did Cruz have planned? Akira's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her children chattering excitedly as they packed their favorite toys and clothes. She smiled wryly to herself, knowing that they had no idea what they were getting themselves into.

"Mama, can we bring our favorite snacks?" Stellen asked, holding up a bag of sweet treats. Akira nodded, her expression softening.

"Of course, sweetie. We'll need all the energy we can get for this trip." As the triplets continued to pack, Akira's eyes drifted to the Nieno device on the coffee table. She had a feeling that this trip was going to be a lot more complicated than she had initially thought...

The journey to Elyria Celestia was only six hours space flight. When they got there the three triplets went to her friend Estella place she was so excited and the triplets were also excited. "Bye mama see you soon!" "Mmm you two babies see you soon," Akira said as she kissed her kids goodbye and she walked to the other side where Cruz was waiting for her.

"Ms. Akira," Cruz said excitedly he couldn't believe that Akira agreed to see his great grandmother!

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" Cruz said.

"Mmm."

Cruz's enthusiasm was palpable as he led Akira to a luxurious hovercar.

"Please, after you, Ms. Akira," he said, opening the door for her. Akira stepped inside, her expression neutral, as Cruz followed suit.

"We'll be arriving at the Celestia Royal Palace shortly," he said, his eyes shining with excitement.

"My great great grandmother is waiting for us." Akira's gaze remained fixed on the passing scenery, her expression unreadable.

The hovercar glided smoothly through the air, passing by towering spires and grand architecture. Akira's eyes narrowed slightly as she took in the sights, her mind focused on the task ahead. Cruz, meanwhile, couldn't help but steal glances at her, his excitement growing by the minute.

"We're almost there," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. The hovercar began to descend, and Akira's gaze shifted to the palace below, its grandeur and beauty taking her breath away.

"Wait you are a prince?"

"Yup my mother is Piper, my great grandmother is Clara, great great grandma Josie, and so on and so on. Akira my royal family is massive and other leave in different cities. Akira's eyes widened in surprise, her expression softening ever so slightly as she processed the information.

"1,160 years old?" she repeated, her voice laced with a hint of curiosity. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of power and wisdom a person would accumulate in that amount of time. Cruz nodded, a proud smile on his face.

"Yes, my great great grandmother is a legend in our family. And as for her mage cultivation stage... let's just say she's far beyond what most people can comprehend." Akira's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with the implications. She knew that the Royal Family of Zhekova was powerful, but she had never imagined that they had a member with such an extraordinary lifespan and abilities. And then there was the crown prince... Rein, the ninth princess of the main royal family. Akira's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the hovercar landing, and she turned to see the palace doors opening before them.

Akira's eyes scanned the palace grounds, taking in the grandeur and beauty of the structures. She nodded slightly to the servants as they bowed to her, their faces curious about her relationship with Prince Cruz. Cruz stepped forward, his expression serious.

"Let's go, Ms. Akira. My great great grandmother awaits." He led her towards the palace, his pace swift and purposeful.

As they walked, Akira couldn't help but notice the way the servants and guards looked at her, their gazes filled with curiosity and speculation. She was used to being the center of attention, but this was different. She was in the heart of the royal palace, surrounded by the most powerful family in the land. Akira's thoughts were interrupted by Cruz's voice, his tone low and respectful.

"We're approaching the throne room, Ms. Akira. Please, follow me." He pushed open the massive doors, and Akira stepped inside, her eyes adjusting to the grandeur of the throne room.

Inside the room they were group of mage healers were there. Josie was laying on the bed she was pale and in a coma. "With that kind of move my great great nana won't make it at all," Peyton said.

"With that kind of technique are you to kill her?" Akira asked she was playing a game on her Nieno device.

"Who the fuck are you!" Peyton snapped coldly. Akira was cold.

Akira's eyes didn't leave the screen of her Nieno device as she continued to play her game, her expression neutral.

"Just a person who's here to help," she said, her voice devoid of emotion. Peyton's eyes narrowed, her face pale with anger.

"You think you can help? You think you're better than us?" She took a step forward, her hands clenched into fists. Cruz stepped forward, his eyes flashing with warning.

"Peyton, stop. Ms. Akira is here to help my great great grandmother." Peyton's gaze flicked to Cruz, and for a moment, Akira saw a glimmer of uncertainty in her eyes. But then her expression hardened, and she turned back to Akira.

"I don't trust her," she spat. Akira's eyes finally left the screen of her Nieno device, and she gazed at Peyton with a cold, calculating intensity.

"I'm not here to win your trust," she said, her voice dripping with ice.

"I'm here to do a job."
