Kaito looked up at his father with big, round eyes, clearly not believing him.
"But Daddy, I saw her! She was talking to you and then she disappeared!" Azriel's expression faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure.
"No, son, you must have imagined it. You've been playing too many games with your nanny, that's all." Kaito pouted again, looking unconvinced. The guards exchanged another skeptical look, and one of them whispered.
"I think the little prince is going to be a handful when he grows up..." Azriel shot them a warning glance, before turning his attention back to Adviser Alex.
"I want you to find out more about Akira's past. I want to know everything about her, from her family to her friends to her favorite foods. I want to know what makes her tick." Adviser Alex nodded, taking out a small notebook and pen.
"Yes, Your Highness. I'll get right on it."
"But Crown Prince Azriel we already know that she isn't the real daughter of the House of Frost," a guard said.
"Well I know that get me better report then the scandal that happened seven years ago!" Azriel snapped coldly he covered his son ears so he doesn't hear his coldness toward his guards.
*The guards exchanged nervous glances, before one of them bowed his head.
"Yes, Your Highness. I'll make sure to gather more information." Azriel's cold gaze lingered on them for a moment, before he turned his attention back to Kaito, who was peeking out from behind his father's hand. "Let's go, son. We have a meeting with the royal advisors." Azriel wheelchair moved as he closed his eyes. Kaito snugged in his father chest and a beautiful woman walked over it was Rylee a woman that the father and son dislike so much. Kaito doesn't like Rylee because he knows her she isn't his mother.
Rylee's eyes sparkled with a fake smile as she approached Azriel and Kaito.
"Ah, Azriel, darling. I see you're looking as handsome as ever," she said, her voice dripping with insincerity. Kaito's eyes narrowed, and he buried his face in his father's chest, clearly uncomfortable. Azriel's expression remained cold, his eyes still closed.
"Rylee. What do you want?" he asked, his voice detached.
"Darling I am here to see our son!" Rylee said her beautiful long golden blonde hair flowered down her bright blue eyes sparked and she tried to touch Azriel hand who moved his hand away. The father and son both looked disgusted by Rylee.
Kaito's face scrunched up in distaste as Rylee tried to touch him, and he whispered to his father.
"I don't like her, Daddy." Azriel's eyes snapped open, and he gave Rylee a cold, hard stare.
"You will not touch my son," he growled, his voice low and menacing. Rylee's smile faltered for a moment, before she regained her composure.
"Oh, Azriel, don't be like that. I'm just trying to be a good mother to our son," she said, her voice dripping with false sincerity. Azriel's expression turned even colder, and he spat out,
"You are not his mother. You are nothing to him, and nothing to me."
"I am good fiancee and also I give birth to him," Rylee said as she put her hands on him and she sighed as she felt disgust with Kaito that boy isn't even her own son but she has to suck this up if she wants to be a queen! Rylee knew how to act innocent and caring but she was truly a woman who knows how to act and blame other. She the daughter of House of Swan Clan. She is known as a swordmaster and also she is only 100 years she fall in love with Azriel at a young age she won't forget that day but who knew being by his side meant for her to steal someone else child and she doesn't feel guilty.
Rylee's eyes sparkled with a fake warmth as she gazed at Kaito, but Azriel was not fooled. He knew her true nature, and he could see the disgust in her eyes when she looked at his son.
"You may have given birth to him, but you are not his mother," Azriel repeated, his voice cold and detached.
"You are nothing but a vessel, a means to an end. And as for being my fiancée, don't think for a moment that I am blind to your true intentions. You want the throne, and you're willing to do whatever it takes to get it." Rylee's smile faltered for a moment, before she regained her composure.
"Azriel, darling, you're being paranoid. I'm only trying to do what's best for our son and our future together." But Azriel was not buying it. He knew that Rylee was a master manipulator, and he was not going to fall for her tricks.
Azriel disappeared with a golden light with his son out of the palace into a luxurious hotel that was owned by the royal family.
Rylee's eyes widened in shock as Azriel and Kaito vanished into thin air. She stomped her foot in frustration, her face twisted in anger.
"How dare he!" she seethed, before storming out of the palace, determined to find out where Azriel had taken their son.
Meanwhile, Azriel and Kaito materialized in a luxurious suite at the hotel, surrounded by opulent furnishings and stunning views of the city. Kaito looked around in wonder, his eyes wide with excitement. Azriel smiled, hugging his son tightly.
"We're safe here, Kaito. We can finally be ourselves, without Rylee's constant manipulation." He led Kaito to a large window, where they could see the city spread out before them.
"Let's enjoy our time together, just the two of us."
Azriel wasn't scared to kill Rylee but that woman is his son birth mother so he can't do that but she is a good actress does Rylee think she can play him? She has no idea how cruel he can be if he wants.
Azriel's eyes seemed to gleam with a cold intensity as he thought about Rylee's antics. He knew she was a skilled manipulator, but he was not one to be trifled with. He was a master of the game, and he would not be played. As he gazed out at the city, his expression turned calculating, and a small, cruel smile played on his lips. Rylee had no idea what she was dealing with, and Azriel was determined to keep it that way. For now, he would let her think she had the upper hand, but he was waiting, patiently, for the perfect moment to strike.
Azriel's eyes sparkled with amusement as he thought about Akira's bold and independent nature. He was used to people trying to curry favor with him, but Akira seemed to be the exception. She didn't seem to care about his royal status or his wealth, and that only made him more intrigued by her. He brought the rose to his nose again, inhaling its sweet scent, and couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of getting to know Akira better. He was a man who had always gotten what he wanted, but Akira seemed to be the one person who was immune to his charms. And that only made him more determined to win her over. He smiled to himself, a plan already forming in his mind. He would have to be careful, though - Akira was not a woman to be trifled with. She was intelligent, resourceful, and seemed to have a hidden strength that he found incredibly alluring.
