A faint smile played on Akira's lips as she sat in her dimly lit laboratory, surrounded by various medical equipment and research papers. She was completely absorbed in her work, her eyes scanning the data on her computer screen with intense focus. Her long, raven-black hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall, and her slender fingers moved with precision as she typed away on her keyboard. She was completely unaware of the interest she had piqued in Azriel, and the danger that was slowly closing in on her. Her alias, Dr. Lu, was a carefully guarded secret, and she intended to keep it that way. For now, she was content to live in the shadows, using her extraordinary abilities to help those in need, while remaining a ghost to the rest of the world.
Akira's eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief as she thought about her dual identities. She had always enjoyed the thrill of living a double life, and the sense of freedom that came with it. As Dr. Lu, she was a renowned medical genius, respected and admired by her peers. But as Akira, she was a mysterious and elusive figure, always staying one step ahead of those who sought to uncover her true identity. She reveled in the power and control that came with her secrets, and she had no intention of giving them up anytime soon.
Akira Nieno device started to ring and she picked it up.
"Reina what's the matter?" Akira asked and Reina who was shopping sighed she can't believe she is doing this her brother pretty much forced to go shopping for Akira.
"What you like? Like what are you interested in?" Reina asked Akira chuckled on the other side Azriel was listening to this conversation he nodded his head and glared at Reina who looked away damn it her brother is so damn scary!
"Anyway tell me?"
"Reina whatever you get me it's dear to me," Akira said gently unaware that the crown prince Azriel was listening in.
Azriel's eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on Reina, who was still shopping. He could hear the warm tone in Akira's voice, and it sent a pang of curiosity through him. He wanted to know more about this woman, who seemed to be able to effortlessly charm those around her. He leaned back in his chair, his eyes never leaving Reina's face, as he continued to listen in on the conversation.
"Whatever you get me, it's dear to me," Akira's words echoed in his mind, and he felt a strange sense of possessiveness wash over him. He didn't like the idea of Reina buying gifts for Akira, not when he was the one who wanted to spoil her. He made a mental note to have his assistant arrange for a gift to be sent to Akira, something that would surpass anything Reina could possibly buy.
"Really but…." Reina said.
"Okau I want a cute fluffy chubby cat or a teddy bear how that?" Akira said as she smirked playfully on the other side.
Azriel's eyes widened in surprise, and a small, amused smile played on his lips. A cute, fluffy, chubby cat or a teddy bear? He wouldn't have pegged Akira as the type of person who would go for something so... innocent. He leaned forward, his interest piqued, as he continued to listen in on the conversation. Reina's voice came through the line.
"A-Akira, you're not exactly the type of person I'd imagine wanting a cute cat or teddy bear..." Akira's laughter echoed through the line, a melodious sound that sent a shiver down Azriel's spine.
"Why not? I'm a sucker for cute things," Akira said, her voice still playful. Azriel's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of Akira and her mysterious nature. He was determined to learn more about her, to uncover the secrets that lay beneath her enigmatic exterior.
Azriel's eyes sparkled with amusement, and a hint of a smile played on his lips. A glutton for food and sweets? He couldn't help but wonder what other secrets Akira might be hiding.
"Cutie pies" was an interesting term, too - it seemed she had a soft spot for someone. He leaned back in his chair, his gaze never leaving Reina's face as he continued to listen in on the conversation.
Azriel's eyes widened in surprise, and his gaze snapped back to the conversation. Triplets? And they seemed to have quite the unique interests. Gaming, mind games, strategy games, spells, programming, and virtual reality games? It sounded like they were quite the intelligent and tech-savvy bunch. He made a mental note to look into the triplets further, to learn more about them and their interests. And Akira's tone, when speaking about them, was filled with such warmth and affection. It was clear that she adored them, and Azriel found himself feeling a pang of curiosity about their relationship. He leaned forward, his eyes fixed intently on Reina, as he continued to listen in on the conversation.
Azriel's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of the triplets and their unique interests. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of mother Akira was to them, and what kind of relationship they shared. He was determined to learn more about them, to uncover the secrets that lay beneath their surface.
"And what about you, Akira?" he thought to himself.
"What do you like to do in your free time?" He leaned back in his chair, his eyes never leaving Reina's face as he continued to listen in on the conversation. Reina's voice came through the line.
"Akira, I'll make sure to get the things the triplets like. But what about you? Is there anything you want me to get for you?" Akira's response was immediate,
"No, Reina, just get the things the triplets like. That's all that matters to me." Azriel's eyes widened in surprise, a small smile playing on his lips. It seemed that Akira's priorities were clear, and that the triplets came first in her life.
"No way! Tell me!" Reina complain if you don't this evil brother would cut her spending allowance!
"Okay like I told you before fluffy chubby white cat, or fluffy stuffed animal, oooh comfortable hoodie really spicy food."
Azriel's eyes sparkled with amusement, his gaze never leaving Reina's face. It seemed that Akira had a weakness for comfort and spice. He made a mental note to remember this, to use it to his advantage in the future. A fluffy chubby white cat, a comfy hoodie, and spicy food - it was a surprisingly relatable list. He leaned back in his chair, a small smile playing on his lips as he continued to listen in on the conversation.
Azriel's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, his gaze still fixed on Reina. Akira's list was...endearing, in a way. He couldn't help but wonder what she would look like, curled up with a fluffy white cat, wearing a comfortable hoodie and eating spicy food. The image was surprisingly appealing. He leaned forward, his interest piqued, as Reina's voice came through the line.
"Akira, you're so weird! But I'll get you those things, okay?" Akira's laughter echoed through the line, a melodious sound that sent a shiver down Azriel's spine.
"Thanks, Reina. You're a lifesaver," Akira said, her voice filled with warmth. Azriel's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of Akira and her relationships. He was determined to learn more about her, to uncover the secrets that lay beneath her surface.
Azriel's eyes sparkled with calculation, his gaze never leaving Reina's face. Using Reina to get close to Akira was a clever plan. He would play the role of the protective older brother, using Reina's friendship with Akira to his advantage. A small, calculating smile played on his lips as he continued to listen in on the conversation.
Reina's eyes widened in alarm, her mind racing with thoughts of her brother's intentions. 119 years old, and yet he looked like he was in his mid-30s. His piercing gaze and chiseled features made him a magnet for attention, and his reputation as the most handsome man in the world was well-deserved. But it was his power that truly set him apart - as a powerful mage cultivator, he was feared throughout the galaxies. Reina shivered at the thought of her brother's interest in Akira, her best friend. What could he possibly want with her? And why was he being so secretive about it? Reina's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with questions. She needed to talk to Akira, to warn her about her brother's intentions.
Reina's eyes flashed with defiance, her voice firm as she rejected her brother's unspoken request. Azriel's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, his gaze never leaving Reina's face. He seemed to be enjoying the exchange, his expression amused.
"Reina, don't be like that," he said, his voice low and smooth.
"I just want to get to know Akira better. She's an interesting person, don't you think?" Azriel's eyes sparkled with curiosity, his gaze piercing as he waited for Reina's response.
"Worry about yourself brother! You have a fiancee which by the way everyone dislike she isn't a good mother at all to your six year old son! She might have given birth to Kaito but she is not a mother type," Reina said as she snapped her fingers.
"Plus my best friend told me when we went out that she isn't looking for romance so give it up," Reina said.
Azriel's expression darkened, his eyes flashing with a hint of anger at Reina's words. His voice was low and controlled, but the undercurrent of tension was palpable.
"Enough, Reina. You don't know what you're talking about. My engagement is not up for discussion, and neither is my son's mother. And as for Akira, I'm not interested in romance with her... yet. I just want to get to know her, that's all." Azriel's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing as he leaned forward, his voice taking on a warning tone.
"Don't meddle in things you don't understand, Reina. It's not good for you, or for Akira."
"Yet what do you mean by yet?" Reina asked.
