Chereads / Ace's Obsession / Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Days went by and everything was back to normal. She now lay in bed at two in the morning and was ready to call it a night when her phone vibrated.

"Luna, come fetch me please."

"Dave, where are you?"

"14th conner street, by the casino."

Luna had liked Dave, but he was a sore loser gambler. He had been there for her, so even though it was a pain for her to go and fetch him, but she would.

She got to the casino and spotted him,

"Glad you are here miss, he has become a nuisance."

"Sorry." Luna apologized.

"My Luna," Dave mumbled out.

She started to head outside with him, but he started to gag, so she sat him down by the corridor, "I will go get you some water."

She ran to buy some water and when she got back, Dave was nowhere in sight. She ran through, checking every door when she heard commotion.

"Should we beat him up, sir?"

Luna went through the door, and Dave was grumbling words on the floor,

"I'm so sorry, he is with me. Please pardon him, and I'm very sorry for any trouble that he has caused."

She went to him, was on her knees, and pulled him onto to her, "My Luna."

"Dave not now."

"More losers here." This time it came from a lady, she could see her shoes, so expensive.

She stayed on her knees, "I'm sorry mam for the trouble, it is all my fault."

Luna was shocked when Dave was lifted from her, her heart beat fast when she felt a hand underneath her chin and her face was lifted, and her eyes widened when she saw that it was Ace.

Her heart beat faster, she had found out who Ace was when she had done her research, he was the most feared mafia leader, no one dared to cross him.

Would he make her pay for this?

"We meet again." His voice came out harshly, as if he was annoyed with her, was he jealous or was she overanalyzing it?

"Forgive me, Sir." She stuttered out.

"You know this bitch?" the girl spat out.

"Yes, I met her the other day," Ace responded but his eyes never left hers.

"I'm really sorry sir, and I swear on my life that you won't see me again."

"But who said I don't want to see you again Luna?"

She gulped at his words, why did he respond as if it was a threat?

"Sorry."

"Is that all you have to say?" Ace replied.

"If it's fine with you, could we leave?"

"Is he your boyfriend?"

"No."

"Good, or else............"

There was so much danger in his words,

"Why are you coming all the way here to fetch him, is he special to you?" Luna felt her cheeks bloom with color,

"So this is the fucker that you are interested in."

"I'm sorry for this Sir, please forgive us."

"What do you mean by us, when he is the one that is causing all of this bullshit."

"I made a mistake by leaving him unattended to go get him some water, it is on me for being this reckless."

Ace scoffed, "You really must love this son of a bitch."

"Do you know her?" the lady replied.

"Yes, I do."

Luna noticed that the girl did not question him but she submitted to him, they had to be lovers at least. Now she waited to see what they would do with her and Dave.

"You belong to me."

Shockwaves ran through her, he was saying it as a fact, and Luna worried as to what he meant about that. This was not the time to think about all of this.

"Luna............"

It was Dave grumbling out on the couch that they had put him on, and on instinct, she stood up to go to him when Ace's hand went to her shoulder and pushed her back down.

"You do not fucking leave unless I tell you so."

"My apologies."

"And not for another guy, whilst I'm here."

Luna nodded, "Sorry, I was not thinking straight."

"Maybe I should teach him a lesson for all this." Ace let out, and there was no emotion, whatsoever.

"Please I beg, or you can take it out on me."

"What?"

"Yes, please, you can take it out on me."

"Why should I?" Ace replied, he seemed to be enjoying her discomfort.

"I'm responsible for him."

"So brave for someone so young."

Luna did not respond, as any word that she said was under scrutiny.

"You have limited days with this fucker."

Luna did not know what he meant, "Huh?"
