Peter dismissed the stat screen with a thought, a grin curling his lips. This Watch ID, an upgraded replacement for the standard ID cards, was more incredible than he had anticipated. Not only did it serve as identification, but it also displayed key information about him in real-time.

It was a small marvel in it's own right!

It listed him as "Less Human," which was expected—Elena's interference and manipulation of the inspection stone/Appraisal stone, ensured that. His ability, "Darkness," also stood out.

While Peter knew he was a dual-wielder, only this one ability was displayed on his ID. The Darkness ability alone was enough to place him in the All-Rounder Combat Category (CTG), a group highly valued by the Academy for its versatility and adaptability in combat—valuable combat type capable of excelling in offense, defense, scouting and support.

More surprising, however, were the stats displayed. The ID Watch even displayed his Vampiric talents—Speed, Strength, Hearing, Healing, and Blood Steal. This revelation surprised Peter. If the Watch could independently read his true abilities, would it expose him? Fortunately, the ID's design ensured privacy. Apart from tracking his location and serving as an alarm during emergencies, the Watch did not share data with the Academy's servers apart from the location.

This design had been heavily influenced by the Ancient Families Royal families and nobles, who valued their descendants' secrets.

Yet, despite this, many students still avoided wearing the ID Watches. Why? The answer was simple: youthful rebellion.

"What? Is something on my face?" Sylvie asked, tilting her head curiously at his sudden grin.

Peter glanced at her and chuckled. "No, I'm just happy. For the first time, I am a real student of Chaos Academy—and not just any student, but a special one. Thanks to you." Peter replied, gratitude evident in his voice.

"Don't celebrate too early," Sylvie cautioned, smirking. "Remember, starting tomorrow, you'll be going into the Tower with the other awakened students in your class. Unlike you, they're all experienced—nobles, royals, even some Ancient Family descendants. These kids grew up training and fighting monsters. You'll have your work cut out for you. They've been training for this their whole lives. And don't forget—"

"My secrets," Peter interrupted, nodding. "I know. Until I evolve and unlock my true ability, I can only rely on my vampire stats. I'll tread carefully."

His serious tone reassured her. Smiling, Sylvie seemed satisfied with his resolve, she took his hand and began pulling him toward the towering glass dormitory building.

"Hey, stop dragging me! People might get the wrong idea with you pulling me toward the boys' dorm," Peter protested, though Sylvie ignored him completely.

"And do I care what they think? Nah, I don't give a damn. Now, come on!" she said, pulling him along without hesitation.

Thankfully, most students were already in class, leaving only a handful to witness the scene.

Still, whispers had already spread. After his earlier confrontation, one question echoed through the halls: Who is this boy?

His transformation had rendered him unrecognizable by his killers. The scrawny, timid figure from before had vanished, replaced by someone confident and enigmatic.

All they knew Sylvie the known cold beautiful dragon, untamed and unattainable seemed to care about him so much.

The Royal Section dormitories of Chaos Academy were nothing short of luxurious. Towering glass structures stood as symbols of prestige, with separate wings for male and female students. Most students had already rushed to their classes, leaving the dormitory corridors eerily quiet.

Yet, the few students who lingered were enough to spark rumors.

Whispers followed Peter and Sylvie as they made their way inside. After his earlier confrontation and the attention it had garnered.

Yet, not everyone was impressed or happy with this. Somewhere, a certain Dragon was seething.

"Who is this boy? He's a newbie, right?" the Dragon growled, glaring at his subordinate.

The subordinate nodded nervously. "Yes, and he's already made quite the impression."

The Dragon sneered. "My bastard brother has been dying for my attention Tell him what he needs to do during their tomorrow's First Tower Dive. Let's see how long this newbie's luck lasts."

"All for a woman?" The surbodianate wondered in his mind but didn't voice it.

Room 040

Even with their enhanced stamina, most awakened students preferred the convenience of elevators to climbing dozens of floors. Peter and Sylvie exited the elevator on the third-highest floor of the dormitory, heading down the wide corridor toward Room 040.

Peter's room was at the very end of the corridor. Room 039 lay across from it, while Room 041 was adjacent.

As they approached, his gaze briefly lingered on the neighboring rooms. His enhanced vision revealed no movement or red outlines—the mark of living beings—inside.

Both rooms were empty.

"So, everyone's in class, huh?" he mused aloud, amused by the silence.

"Yeah, I'd be shocked if they weren't," Sylvie replied, then paused, narrowing her eyes at him. "Wait... how do you even know that? Did you smell them? Like some kind of dog, I mean, with your Vampiric scent?"

Peter chuckled, shaking his head. "Not quite but yeah, that can work too but it's, ah... My vision, it allows me to see living beings as red silhouettes when I look through walls or objects. It's hard to miss when someone's nearby."

"Handy," Sylvie crossed her arms, leaning against the doorframe as Peter unlocked his room. "Creepy, but handy."

With a soft click, the door swung open, revealing the standard yet luxurious interior of the dormitory room. It was furnished with a sleek desk, although not king-sized, the bed was big, and a personal kitchenette—perks reserved for the Royal Section of the Academy.

Peter stepped inside, Sylvie following behind. "You know, for someone who's supposed to be pulling me around, you're awfully nosy," he teased, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Of course, I am!" Sylvie retorted with mock indignation. "I dragged you here, so I get to inspect your living space. It's only fair."

Peter smirked, gesturing toward the small living area. "Make yourself comfortable. Just don't rearrange my stuff." He said as he unpacked a few things he had in his bag and Spatial Artifact.

As Sylvie settled into the couch, Peter stood by the window, gazing out at the sprawling Academy grounds below.

His mind drifted to the challenges ahead—his evolving powers, his first ever Tower Dive, and the enemies he'd already made without realizing it.

He clenched his fist, determination burning in his eyes. "Tomorrow will be the first test," he thought. "I won't fail."
