That night, Peter spent all the hours ingesting all the information Elena was giving him about the beasts, given she knew most of them.
But refused to tell him about the certain group of beasts, just like the academy was telling to the young awakened: "You still weak to know that, just make sure to run if you come across them!"
Swallowing his discomfort he prepared to rest for the day for the night after spending too much time learning, his mind needed some rest.
Then it hit him, given the explanation of the beasts he got, he surely needed a weapon, which he surely did have but didn't want to use that thing! The thing he not from the armoury was nothing but a death wish. That thing wasn't even a weapon and immediately after he got it, Peter had ran as far as he could from there.
Then again he wasn't worried about a weapon, don't beast drop items? He just had to kill a couple of them with raw power, they would certainly drop a weapon or two.
Hopefully.
With that assurance, he drifted into the embrace of sleep.

Yawn~
Rising clumsily he headed into the bathroom and only exited after five minutes after taking on the morning routine and rituals.
Wearing a new pair of pants and a simple black shirt, he tied his hair in a neat ponytail leaving two bangs to fall on each side of his face, making sure he looked better, Peter got a pair of black shoes and prepared to move out...
[Black boots, get those boots, they will be better when you're running or fighting!] complying after scratching the back of his head, Peter got a black jacket, and then got a few other things he needed into his inventory, and exited his room.

"... As you already know, the four types of portals each lead you to a specific tower rank, the green portal leads to a tower with Basic and Adapt Beasts, the lowest ranks, the purple portals lead to towers with Expert and King rank beasts, that's all you need to know but since am in a good mood today I feel like telling you about the other two portals too, so..." they rolled their eyes at the teacher's words.
It's not like they needed his explanations, they knew pretty much anything there to about these portals, even Peter did now after a few hours of tutoring for Elena.
Currently, they were in the 'Portal Room' with teacher Christian, the wolf Peter had "offended" yesterday, briefing them before their First Tower 'Dive'.
A bored look hung on the faces of some of these students; they felt like what Christian was doing right now was pretty much delaying their time to explore the legendary towers for their first time.
Even the commoners around knew the basic information he was giving, so definitely they didn't need it, right?
"How impatient; okay then, I have to remind you one thing though: there's a chance of stumbling into an Expert or King Beats in a green tower—if you're unlucky; the ranks of the beast in the towers are not certain after all. That's not our home to know everything going on there.
"But fret not, we send a teacher with you capable of facing the anomaly you might stumble into by mistake. Just press the emergency button on your ID if you face such or when the beast has overwhelmed you even if it's not of a higher rank."
"And my luck!" Peter said to himself.
"But the moment you do that when it's not an Expert or King Beast, you lose five hundred. Then again, your life is more valuable than the points; you can't get points in your death, right?" most nodded vigorously.
Life was more valuable than some points.
"Okay, last thing, if you decide to make groups, then the points you earn will be divided; your only option is to kill as much as you can. The ID will decide the points based on your input in the fight. Now class S.A first them B and lastly the normal class, enter the Green portals.
"Oh, these portals send you into random conquered towers, if you can't hunt alone, hurry and find a group or anyone to survive with. After getting satisfied with your points, hurry to any human base where portals are. Or do the impossible!" they chuckled at that.
No one has ever been able to do that, that's why it was called the Impossible. But after doing it, the tower will create an exit portal for you.
"Yeah, Impossible, forget it." Peter muttered, he didn't wish to go to an unconquered tower to do the Impossible. If anything he wished...
"Oh, I forgot to tell, you there are chances you might go to a green portal but land in a territory out adventurous haven't explored yet to eliminate the threats there!" Christian let his words sink in before he continued.
"Another thing, there's no guarantee that there will be a teacher to run to when things go south. So if anything, tread with caution and don't attract an enemy you can't win!" He finished with a grin.
Most students no matter if from a Special Class or not, all grimaced and shivered, but there were some some confident ones who didn't share that same fear.
"Okay Embers, Go and fully awaken your Sparks and systems!" Christian roared in pure eauthusiasm.
In Peter's class, the first one to step out first is a dark-haired handsome man with a tall statuette, and short dragon horns curved to the back.
Pride, arrogance, pontent aura of power and raw strength could be filled in his every motion stirring up the hearts of weak students and earning his a few looks—if not more than necessary—from girls. Much to the dragon's pleasure.
He stepped into a circular portal with green energy swirling within it, disappearing from their view, and many more followed behind him.
Two girls also entered together, the remaining group had created a distance from them and let them enter unhurriedly, a testament to the power and status they hold.
The two gave Peter the creeps!
Of the two, one felt familiar to him, and before they disappeared, she smiled at the remaining students, but he knew better. The smile of the girl he had nearly stumbled into yesterday was aimed at him!
"Whatever!"

Exiting the now-disappearing green portal, Peter found himself dropping into the water; from up before he fell into the sea, Peter concluded that this water body was as large as two lakes combined, two medium-sized lakes back on Earth.
Not like he was too familiar with them.
"F*ck me!"
Extreme coldness engulfed him; he shivered at such coldness, yet in mere seconds, while he was still falling deeper into the water, heading to its bottom, his body felt fine as if he was not in the cold water this tower could offer. And he felt uniquely fine being submerged into deep waters, at least for now.

"There goes my luck!" hearing the system notification, he knew nothing good was with staying in these waters, much less reaching their base.
Moving his limbs as fast as possible, he swam to nowhere, in particular, in the middle of the unknown sea.
Just followed his instincts. He had no prior experience with swimming but thanks to being a vampire he was flexible and he could hold his own under water.
Luckily, Peter he didn't any need to breathe, and with his speed, swimming for hours given his endurance, he will surely reach land without facing any problems.
But he failed to account for one thing: his luck.
"What have I done to myself? Why did I have to think that," he exclaimed as his eyes caught up, something speeding in his direction.
And so his first fight was about to commence!
