CHAPTER 3
A day in Ti GULHA starts with thanks giving to Gulha, the mystic force that feed the continent with life, and thanks giving to Ti Tula, the goddess of balance. The people believed that Ti Gulha is the masculine aspect of the mystic force, while Ti Tula was the feminine aspect of the mystic force that kept it in check; Ti Tula was actually created by COSMOS as a force of balance for Ti GULHA.
Thanksgiving was done individually and collectively.
The head of every family or group acted as a priest in any group living together as a family.
In the castle JICARGE, the throne room was used as the venue for the family prayers every morning. The door of the throne room bursted open, and Mhaharanni and Miciry walked in. Mhaharanni announced, with his usual jovial nature,
"Me, Yuva (prince) Mhaharanni and my permanent friend Miciry". Ti Raja, who has been waiting for them to come so that he could begin the family thanksgiving, smiled at his son's joke.
Mhaharanni and Miciry greeted Ti Raja and gave him a hug. And they all settled down for the family prayers with Ti Raja conducting.
Knelling down hands in prayer, Ti Raja JICARGE said,
"The supreme deity, the energy and goddess Tula, I thank you for everything in my life, especially my son and his best friend Miciry who …" before he could continue, Mhaharanni said
"Me, Yuva (prince) Mhaharanni".
Ti Raja chuckles and continued praying
"Who is alive and well and in high spirits this beautiful morning? Of all the things you have given to me, they are one of the greatest gifts. They are both alive and well and they are perfect for me. And I am ever grateful to you all for helping me keep them safe"
He bows his head in respect, hands closed up in prayers.
Ti Raja finished his prayers after asking for peace and prosperity in the entire kingdom. As they finished their prayers, he looked at his son and Miciry fondly and asked,
"Good Gulha sons. Did you have a good night's rest?" Mhaharanni and Miciry nodded and replied,
"Yes, we did".
"Good",
Ti Raja said
"Then freshen up. Let us meet in the food room. I am sure Calsa and her kitchen staff have laid a feast on the breakfast table ready for us".
In the Royal kitchen, Calsa, the cook and the kitchen staff gathered in the kitchen to prepare breakfast after their morning prayers.
"I wonder who this Miciry is"?
Gravon, the gossip said as he heard Mhaharanni and Miciry's footsteps as both of them hurried to their rooms to freshen up before breakfast.
He continued even without a reply from anyone. " First, it was Mhaharanni who suddenly turned up in the palace even when it was said that Queen Valtra died with her unborn baby. Now it is Miciry, who is said to be the son of the late ArtchBurtcher even though the late general never had a child before his unfortunate demise"
"Rumor has it that he is someone precious to Ti Raja, or could that be a lie"?
"Well, who are we to question why Ti Raja keeps Mhaharanni and why Miciry turned up as the only surviving child of the late ArtchBurtcher? After all, we all have secrets of our own. Now, before we spend the entire hour chatting about Mhaharanni and Miciry, let's get busy. We have the entire royal household of Ti GULHA to feed. No more talking Gravon or you will have to look for another, more suitable place of work for yourself".
Calsa, the head cook concluded. Gravon, who was about to speak, quickly kept quiet on hearing the threat to his job.
Calsa was very peculiar among the other cooks. She could create and manipulate fire and even communicate with plants. Her culinary skills were second to none. She was discovered and brought to the palace to serve as the palace cook by (queen) Valtra, and she rose to the position of head cook because of her gifts and uniqueness, as well as her no nonsense attitude.
