CHAPTER 8
The throne room was a very large room painted ash like the rest of the castle. It was in the middle of Castle Jicarge.
When Miciry and Mhaharanni stepped into the throne room, they were surprised to see their spouses already there. Miciry was particularly surprised to see his love spouse, Coatahphann, in the throne room because she was supposed to be on duty at the Manasika house (mental home) where she worked.
Manasika house was created for those who were mentally disturbed and those who were out of balance. Those who work there were trained to take care of the patients and treat them and reconditioned them into an acceptable behavior. When they had been treated or healed, they were assimilated back into the society.
Only those gifted with healing and mind reading abilities worked there.
One may wonder why, in a well-organized place like Ti Gulha, would anybody have mental disturbances? The reason was this; some citizens of Ti Gulha who were not satisfied with their Gulha given powers and abilities, sometimes tried to tinker with the mystical forces to appropriate to themselves their preferred powers, gifts or abilities. In doing so, they may succeed temporarily, but eventually, Ti Gulha Thama would balance itself and throw them out of balance, hence the Manasika house.
Miciry and Mhaharanni walked up to Ti Raja and bowed. Ti Raja nodded his head, and both of them straightened up and walked up to their love spouses and stood by them. Everybody present noticed the worried look that marred the face of Ti Raja.
The high priest of Ti Gulha and the High Priestess of Ti Tula materialized, each dressed in long robes embroidered with patterns and insignia that represent their individual office and status. They stood side by side with a wide parchment in front of them. At the sight of the parchment, everyone present there knew there was a prophecy concerning them that could not be ignored. That also explained the worried look on Ti Raja's face.
The Priests stepped forward into the full view of all those present. Ti Raja gave a nod and the Priest of Ti Gulha spoke.
"We have three very important matters to discuss with all of you. The first is that there is a war coming and Ti Raja will soon pass on".
Shock was written on the faces of all those present.
In Ti Gulha, the death of somebody, even a king, was celebrated because of two reasons. The first reason was that because the people of Ti Gulha live for over two hundred years or more. The second reason was that they could still visit and have consultations with their loved ones in Hostlaine, even after death. So it is not something to be too concerned about.
The priest continued.
"As part of the order from Gulha and Tula, Coatahphann ArtchMigerd and her children are to go to the uninhabited lands for an assignment. The nature of the assignment and when to depart for the uninhabited lands will be communicated to Coatahphann by Gulha itself when the time comes."
Coatahphann and Miciry looked at each other in confusion but said nothing. When the priest got no response from the couple concerned, the priestess continued.
"You are all aware that Mhaharanni is going to be Ti Raja, but you have not known who will be his Right-hand man. Yes?"
Everyone nodded. The priest continued,
"It has been revealed to us years ago, but we believe this is the right time to say who, so that training can begin"
The Priestess moved forward and continued from where the priest stopped.
"The Right-hand man of Yuva (prince) Mhaharanni, the son of Raja Jicarge Alhovos as revealed by Ti Gulha and Ti Tula, is you? "
They pointed at a startled Miciry,
"Miciry ArtchMigerd Son of ArtchBurtcher ArtchMigerd".
