CHAPTER 6
Miciry stood in front of the large window, in the private sitting room of Prince Mhaharanni, in the castle, looking out over the wide expanse of the city. Miciry had come a long way. He had grown up to be a nine foot tall, dark and handsome man like his late father, although he had long dreadlocks on his head and he kept light beards on his face, while his late father was a clean shaven man.
This day he was dressed in an all black military uniform of his office and position. Tight fitted trousers, a fitted shirt, and large sized iron laded military boots, a cape with the Mahdipa's insignia in black silver, completed his outfit. He stood looking out over the wide expanse of the city and everyone going by.
Ti Yuva (Prince) Mhaharanni was running late for his morning training with Miciry. They had maintained their friendship over the years.
"Good Gulha Miciry".
The cheerful voice of Mhaharanni called to him from the door across the window. Miciry turned away from the window with a frown on his harsh face to look at a sweaty Mhaharanni. Then he wrinkled his nose and reprimanded him in a cool but friendly voice,
"Where in Gulha's name have you been? I have been waiting a long time for you. Half the morning is almost gone, and we are officially behind schedule".
Mhaharanni loved to banter words with his friend. He was already used to the overwhelming dedication to duty that was the main character of Miciry, so he replied with a smile,
"I have been out jugging, then flying, and don't worry I will get ready quickly and we will be on our way"
The expression on Miciry's face told Mhaharanni that his trainer and friend was not amused in the least bit by his antics.
Mhaharanni walked up to his friend and trainer smiling he said,
"Relax, you take life too seriously. You will take all the fun out of life if you keep going on like this. You will get more wrinkles than my father if you continue frowning. Smile, take the frown off your face. What might go wrong?"
Miciry said to his friend
"If you want to while away your entire life, it is absolutely fine with me, but please allow me to do my job and duty to you and to this kingdom".
He then took a deep breath and continued
"I have to go on a mission before sundown and be back before dawn and I need to prepare, and you being late for your training is not helping in the least."
And as an afterthought, he said,
"Go take a bath, you stink."
Mhaharanni was not thrilled with the information that his friend would go on a mission. He was looking forward to spending the day with Miciry and his family. He had become quite close to Miciry's children. Tacoba, Dimitri and the youngest, Aldrick, who was exactly like his father in looks and character, even at the young age of three.
But this day, like every other day, Mhaharanni would like to torment his friend even though he knew it wouldn't amount to anything. So he said;
"I do not stink, my scent is the true scent of a hardworking man".
''Hardworking man indeed''
Said Miciry.
Mhaharanni was about to make another side comment when his love spouse, Atobay, dressed in a flowing butter colored feather silk gown, walked in.
