Victor Grayson sat in his faintly lit study, the faint glow of his laptop screen reflecting on his body. He scrolled through a series of emails, his fingers tapping against the desk. Each message carried updates about the Wests—Nathan's recent defiance, Scarlett's involvement, and Victoria's potential betrayal.
Grayson's lips curled into a thin smile as he reached the last email. The subject line of the mail read:
"Next Steps Confirmed."
He opened it, scanning the contents quickly before leaning back in his chair.
"Let them play their little games, it only makes their downfall more satisfying." he murmured to himself. He picks up a cup and walked towards his small refrigerator bringing out a bottle of wine as he poured a little for himself. As he gulps it down his throat, a knock came through at the door which interrupted his thoughts.
Alex entered the room with a worried facial expression.
