Devin's Point of View
"Don't just stand there! Go after her!" I let out to the men who were still standing and looking like they hadn't seen a crazy lady before. They all took off while I followed the chase from behind.
"Sir... please what's going on? I thought we were here for Marcus..." Jordan said with confusion as he followed me from behind.
"We'll be back for Marcus. But for now, I want to deal with this wretch..." I said angrily as he was struggling to keep up with my pace. In a few moments, we were outside the place and on the trail of the men who were in pursuit.
"But who's she?" Jordan asked as he was applying maximum energy to keep pace with me.
"She's the reason why my whole day went south..." I said, recalling the pain she had made me through because of an awkwardly mixed drink. "She had probably slipped something into my drink which made me purge all morning..."
"Oh no..." he said as he was soon speeding past me to catch up with the other men ahead. "We're going to get her then..." he said as he zoomed off without looking back for a second.
"Good..." I muttered in agreement. In no time that mutt would be caught and I would make her pay for the very thing that was happening right in that moment. "Very good..." I was already scheming what my revenge was going to be like.

Angela's Point of View
At that point, I didn't care about the app and the reviews I was going to get after all of that. I just wanted to secure my life before any other thing. It was quite hard for me to think of a way out as I was almost about to lose my mind from all that was going on.
I could feel his aura close as I ran, and it was quite a strange aura that he possessed as I hadn't sensed that anywhere all my life.
Lucky for me, I had put in the masking powder to keep my scent and aura hidden as much as I could. That way no one was able to sense what I really was.
"You're making this harder than it should be for yourself..." one of the men said from behind as he was almost closing in on me rather too soon. "Just give up the chase and Mr. Simpson, one could give you a much lighter punishment."
"Emphasis on 'could'..." his fellow jeered as they both laughed while they were about to close in on me. "Your punishment would be a lot worse for making things much harder for us than it was meant to be..."
"I would take my chances then..." I said as I was trying to think of the best possible means of getting myself out of there. "Do you think you could actually think you could catch me while running like you've got an erection in-between your legs...?"
I was trying everything I knew to do to make them angry. Throwing them off would go a long way in making them slow down as I had thought. But then, it seemed like it was doing just the opposite of it all. They seemed even more determined to catch up with me.
"Speaking of erections, I'm going to show you what one looks like..." one of the men said as they were soon speeding it all up like their lives were dependent on catching me right that instant. "You're really going to get the worst of all this..."
At that point, I was scared that they would catch me and do the most despicable things to me and that was one thing that I was trying my best to avoid as much as I could. It was much better Devin had caught me himself than one of his goons.
"Get back here..." one of the men tried reaching for me, but I was able to dash out of each before he could put his grip on me.
"You're going to try harder than that if you want to catch me..." I said with a slight taunt like I wasn't scared to death right there.
I was feeling a bit more confident that I could possibly make it out of that one alive as I looked back to see that I was beginning to give them some space. It was just a matter of taking a strategic turn that would take me out of sight.
Just as I was about to return my gaze to the path in front of me, I hit my head on something hard and humanoid which happened to have the sweet scent of a costly cologne. As I looked up I realized that it was Devin 's chest.
Oh no... when did he get there so fast? It was quite hard for me to understand how he had been able to get ahead of everyone when he had been still in the restaurant when I had taken off.
"How did you get here...?" I questioned as I was looking at him with awe and horror. I had always suspected that there was more to him than insane him standing in front of me and my way out.
"Well I've been running these streets for quite a while now and I happen to know every nook and cranny. There's no way you could play chase with me in my own house..." he said with such annoying confidence.
"Yeah... right... you've proven your point now. Can you let me go...?" I asked, hoping that was enough for him to let me go. "I'm sorry that I screwed up your drink back then."
"You didn't just screw up my drink, you screwed up my whole day... and now you must-"
A car came in our direction out of control and rammed head-on into a drainage marker. The water gushed out and slipped on both of us.
"No..." I let out as the powder was about to be washed away. As the water poured on me, I noticed that he was beginning to stare at me differently. He was speechless as the look on his face softened, and it was obvious that he had sensed my aura even as I was sensing a new alluring scent.
"Mate...?" He let out impulsively.
